Staff were very friendly and helpful, giving recommendations for restaurants and places to go. We had patio site 205. Very nice, liked the fence, private. But we would get whiffs of the septic system now and then. One day it was not possible to sit outside. Hopefully, for others that can be addressed.

Beautiful shady campground, very clean, employees were extremely helpful and welcoming! It's the first time we got escorted to our parking spot, which was awesome! Close to all attractions, best KOA we've been to!

We really enjoyed our stay. We do have a couple of suggestions for the dog park. Maybe you could install solar lights (so that it’s easier at night) a bench inside so we can sit as our pups play. Last is a safety issue the rebar holding the second gate needs to be held in place it swings and hurts if it catches your leg. Limit time to 10 mins if people are waiting. Thank you see u next year!

The KOA was nice and clean. It was quiet, but the sites were close together. Our neighbor constantly parked his truck so close that we couldn't have a fire because he was immediately next to our fire pit. So if you have a toad, I would recommend parking by the store. The staff was friendly and it was easy in/out for our 34' rig.

We had a delightful 2 night stay here. I appreciate that the back in spaces at the edge of the campground, they have reduced the number of spaces. It made our space feel much more spacious and welcoming, rather than sardines in a tin. We use a 20 ft longdry camper van, so it was nice to have room outside. Addy was so friendly and helpful, and the food was good- a nice option!

Love this campground. It’s away from a lot of the traffic that comes with the area. Great Wi-Fi. I was able to watch Netflix. Just an overnighter. Clean park, friendly staff. Didn’t use any facilities except for the dog park.

As soon as you arrive, someone helps you and escorts you to your site. The campground is beautiful, clean, and peaceful! We loved it!

Great location for all the amazing things to do in the Black Hills and Custer State Park. Our site was a nice pull through, but was sloped. My rig was jacked up. The Wi-Fi was rarely worked on our devices and out service carriers were barely in range either. But we enjoyed our stay and want to come back next summer for sure!

this KOA was one of the worst. The space was tiny and we were on top of our neighbors truck pretty much. Staff was extremely rude. Yelled at my kids for riding a battery operated toy that goes slow, yet they ride in golf carts with kids with no helmets fast.. hypocrites. Lots of spaces open and remained opened and would not let us switch to a dump site. we had to pay $25 extra each day for dump

The staff was unfriendly and rude. The site was very small and narrow and extremely unlevel. Trees didn’t allow my awning to go out. When asked about moving, I was rudely told no but saw multiple empty sites during our stay, then was stared down by the hosts in their golf carts as they drove by multiple times. There are many other rv parks in the area, I urge you to go to a different park!

Very clean and the staff was extremely helpful with directions to important places to visit in the area! The kitchen was very good!! They make a terrific pizza snd the cheese curds are a “MUST”!! I would most definitely stay here again and recommend it!!

This was not a good stay for us. Squashed into really small gravel sites. Just horrible. Only 2 x toilets for the men with over 109 sites using them. Washrooms were grubby and need a good clean. With the volume of use washrooms should be cleaned twice a day. Will not return. Just too squashed to be enjoyable.

The people were nice and they did have good camp sites. We just weren’t in one. If you can get a back in site around the perimeter, or a full hook up on a concrete slab, it would be better. The laundry room was nice. There’s lots to do for kids. However, their dump station is tight and could be set up better. It just seems like the campground grew and things are too close.

Excellent staff and several nice amenities. The dining area is a nice touch and the camp is close to town with many tourist activities and shops. They have a good amount of pull-through spots making it easier to set up camp.

This KOA was the best KOA we've ever stayed in. What made the difference for us was the staff. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service we've experienced at any campground in our travels. The icing on the cake for us was when the gentleman delivered our firewood to us in his pajamas. Having said that, it wasn't for the wonderful attire, it was that he did this with a smile even though we had not arrived back to the campground until well after the office was closed and it was already dark. This KOA is beautiful and has all the amenities that a traveller could ask for. It is located within a half hour drive of so many of the attractions in the area. We'll be back and we're hoping to have the same gracious and friendly staff to greet us again.

Our 2nd time camping here! Loved it 2 years ago & just as much this time! We splurged for a patio site this time & it did not disappoint. Nice, comfortable sites, clean restrooms & laundry area, well-kept grounds, super friendly & helpful staff (Special thanks to John & Janny, who were amazing!). Beautiful location & positioned perfectly to easily explore so much of what the Black Hills has to offer. Nice to be able to come back to your campsite after a fun day of exploration & be able to relax comfortably outside with a nice fire (some of the KOAs where we stayed on this trip, simply did not have enough room between sites to do that comfortably). We certainly hope to return...love this area & this KOA is one of favorite campgrounds in the US!
