Great stop..close to town and Vrazy Horse, about 25 minutes to Rustmore bit beautiful ride. Staff were.pmeasant and even took us to our site which we really appreciate. Great folks.

Everything was great. It’s a little pricey but the access to the town and UTV trails is excellent. John is an amazingly energetic camp host!

Super friendly and welcoming staff in all departments! And you can go anywhere in the Black Hills or Custer State Park from here. Then you come 'home' to enjoy a dip in the pool, sit in front of your RV and cook or enjoy a meal in the cafetaria.

John and Janny are awesome hosts! This was our first time camping with a RV and we were lucky enough to choose this campground as our first time. John was so helpful to these newbies and they are both so friendly. The campground was spotless and they offer breakfast and dinner. I would recommend this campground to anyone wanting a great experience.

We had a fantastic stay! The owners and staff are very friendly, helpful and personable people. The site location is beautiful and not a far drive from a multitude of National/State Parks and monuments. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Black Hills area.

Bathrooms were nice and clean, staff was very helpful and pleasant, location of the camp provided easy access to numerous parks, towns and monuments. However, the actual site for our RV was unpleasant. Sites were extremely close together. I could actual sit at the picnic table and touch the slideout from my RV while someone on the other side could touch the slide out from my neighbors RV.

Staff were the best!! John is such a great host. I enjoyed talking with him. The grounds were always clean. The pool was nice. It was close in either direction from what we wanted to see in the Black Hills. From Mt Rushore to Hot Springs and everything in between. We enjoyed our 5 nights there

A great layout kept spotless! Plenty of room for us to work our Heelers and probably the most courteous staff we’ve ever encountered. We enjoyed our stay in Custer and highly recommend this KOA as it reflects the attitude of S. Dakotans…proud of their State!

Absolutely one of our favorite places!! At check in we were made to feel like family, which continued throughout our stay. Our site, the laundry room, and the restrooms were super clean. Our boxer loved being able to take a run in there good sized dog park. And, this 62 year old, even took a jump on the air pillow, I highly recommend it �.

Office staff was very helpful with directions and very friendly upon arrival. Loved that the staff guides you to your site and backs or guides you in. Washrooms and laundry are clean and spacious. We had one breakfast from the Cafe, reasonably priced and very good!

Everyone was super friendly! The bounce pad was a hit with our kids, and I'm sure the pool would've been too if it had been a little warmer. The restrooms/ shower/ and laundry were very clean and good shape!

So clean, staff very friendly & helpful! Wi-Fi was great & sites were nicely spaced. Park has lots of Ponderosa Pines & is very quiet. Store is well stocked and burgers were good in the cafe. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellant and quiet RV campground. ALL office and workers are very friendly and helpful. The cafe cook/waiter team were also the best. I've not ever stayed in a better RV park. I'd recommend this KOA to any and all. It's centrally located to many interesting sights.

The staff made us feel very comfortable. John was quite friendly, and willing to assist with anything we needed, as was Dave. Campground overall was very clean. Our patio site was also neat as a pin when we set up. The grill was spotless. This inmpressed me more than anything else. The little things make such a big difference.

Best KOA ever! Amongst the best ANY camp we've stayed! Managers and their crew were all awesome! Wonderful showers and laundry, very well kept ground! Great location for Custer, Crazy Horse and Needles! Nothing less than a perfect week!

This KOA was the best KOA we've ever stayed in. What made the difference for us was the staff. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service we've experienced at any campground in our travels. The icing on the cake for us was when the gentleman delivered our firewood to us in his pajamas. Having said that, it wasn't for the wonderful attire, it was that he did this with a smile even though we had not arrived back to the campground until well after the office was closed and it was already dark. This KOA is beautiful and has all the amenities that a traveller could ask for. It is located within a half hour drive of so many of the attractions in the area. We'll be back and we're hoping to have the same gracious and friendly staff to greet us again.

Our 2nd time camping here! Loved it 2 years ago & just as much this time! We splurged for a patio site this time & it did not disappoint. Nice, comfortable sites, clean restrooms & laundry area, well-kept grounds, super friendly & helpful staff (Special thanks to John & Janny, who were amazing!). Beautiful location & positioned perfectly to easily explore so much of what the Black Hills has to offer. Nice to be able to come back to your campsite after a fun day of exploration & be able to relax comfortably outside with a nice fire (some of the KOAs where we stayed on this trip, simply did not have enough room between sites to do that comfortably). We certainly hope to return...love this area & this KOA is one of favorite campgrounds in the US!
