Great campground, conveniently located in a beautiful area. Hosts are doing a great job updating an older campground (we stayed there back in 2001). We’re very accommodating when we had to modify our dates.

Wonderful campground. We stayed 5 days. It is the perfect site to visit Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park. We had breakfast in their cafe and it was delicious. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Go to the Blue Bell Lodge for lunch!

The campground is ver well maintained and the staff was always helpful and friendly. It is a place I would definitely stay again.

Everything was good. My only unpleasant shocker was the $3 charged to fill my own little coffee tumbler the first morning. It wasn't no Starbucks! (Not that I buy coffee from them.) Next morning I got my cup filled at one of the gas stations in down for $1.06, so at least I learned something for next time!

Amazing experience! Friendly staff, convenient location, stayed in a little cabin and it was perfect for the rainy weekend. Firewood delivery, escort to the our site… everything we forgot available at the store. I will be back!

All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Sites were adequate. Cable would have been nice, but wi-fi worked ok at our site. The restaurant was a nice amenity. We ate an evening meal the day we arrived, food was very good.

Very accommodating check in staff. Good sites, lots of trees. They serve dinner and it looked and smelled fantastic although we had already ate in our rv, we will plan to have dinner here the next time we are in the Black Hills.

We left a day early (did not ask for a refund) because the flies were terrible and a large dog was barking loudly close to us. Our parking pad was not even close to level and it was directly downhill from out camper steps, not good for senior citizens. The staff was courteous and friendly no problem there.

Location is great! This is our second time visiting here! The staff are very friendly and helpful! The downside is that the cell service is pretty limited on Verizon.

I stayed over Labor Day weekend and for the most part the campground was a relaxing place. The staff were very friendly and nice to chat with.

Great staff and the food was outstanding. Location was convenient to everything yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and willing to assist anyway they could. The kitchen staff, husband and wife, were temporary but really did a great job. Highly recommend this place. We traveled in a class a motor home with toad.

This was a great location to what we wanted to go see and super quiet. The staff were amazing and it seems like they all like each other and had little drama. The cafe was a great convenience and the ones running it seemed to care about the product they put out. Lucy and Parrish were the ones who checked us in and were like a concierge service outlining on the map what the best way to see it.

We really liked the atmosphere at this campground. The kids loved the pool and the jumping pillow. The staff was super friendly, extremely helpful and we felt very welcome. Highly recommend this KOA!!!!

Didn’t really use any of the entertainment available, too much to see and do around there. As usual at a KOA the staff was very friendly and helpful and the grounds were clean and well maintained. We were self contained and didn’t use the bathrooms or showers but I’m sure they were clean.

Staff was incredible, the facilities were clean, felt comfortable with kids going to playground. Great location. Fewer activities than some, but it was nice and relaxing after our busy days.

A two day stay.. easy in.. very friendly Centrally located for all the Black Hills sights we saw. Next time we will come back with the grandkids. They will love the amenities!

This KOA was the best KOA we've ever stayed in. What made the difference for us was the staff. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service we've experienced at any campground in our travels. The icing on the cake for us was when the gentleman delivered our firewood to us in his pajamas. Having said that, it wasn't for the wonderful attire, it was that he did this with a smile even though we had not arrived back to the campground until well after the office was closed and it was already dark. This KOA is beautiful and has all the amenities that a traveller could ask for. It is located within a half hour drive of so many of the attractions in the area. We'll be back and we're hoping to have the same gracious and friendly staff to greet us again.

Our 2nd time camping here! Loved it 2 years ago & just as much this time! We splurged for a patio site this time & it did not disappoint. Nice, comfortable sites, clean restrooms & laundry area, well-kept grounds, super friendly & helpful staff (Special thanks to John & Janny, who were amazing!). Beautiful location & positioned perfectly to easily explore so much of what the Black Hills has to offer. Nice to be able to come back to your campsite after a fun day of exploration & be able to relax comfortably outside with a nice fire (some of the KOAs where we stayed on this trip, simply did not have enough room between sites to do that comfortably). We certainly hope to return...love this area & this KOA is one of favorite campgrounds in the US!
