Nice campground. Spacing is good with a lot of trees. Close to the highway, but not a problem for us. The one negative was the strong sewer smell all night long. I finally had to close all our windows because the smell was overpowering. The smell continued this morning and didn't dissipate until the wind kicked up. We were in site A4 if that helps to identify the problem.

Our stay was wonderful! KOA staff was very helpful and friendly! Our cabin was perfect for our family and the amenities were just right! Thank you KOA, we’ll be back!

I loved our cabin and the grandchildren loved the pool and the bouncy pillow. We were not impressed with the breakfast. We did miss the couple from last year , Tammy and her husband . They were really nice and helpful with their knowledge of the area. So we were sad they were not there but otherwise enjoyed our visit and the other ladies at the front desk were were very nice :)

Great staff! Nice facilities! Awesome cabins! The perfect campground for the rally, close to most of the best riding and far away from the “party-never-stops” campgrounds. Camping in the black hills is the best!

We loved the clean bathrooms and showers! Pool could stay open a little later. After our day out and about it would have been nice for the kids to use the pool.

we loved it, showers are up to date and very clean, camp hosts are awesome, we stayed in the cabins, the pool is great too. Anyone going to Sturgis to stay for the rallies I highly recommend staying here, unless you want to party all night, then stay somewhere else, after riding all day to see the sights {which are closer} a very relaxing campground. Oh, join the KOA club for discounts too.

Awesome...........we booked another stay before we left. Facilities were nice and the people were amazing. Friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the new breakfast option.

The staff were amazing! We rented the basic cabin, and enjoyed our time there. K8ds had a great time. The grounds and bathrooms/showers were exceptionally clean! Can't wait to come back

For just a night on the road, it’s adequate. At night a strong smell of sewage swept over the campsite, very unpleasant but it didn’t last long. Washrooms dated but sufficient. Pool was out of order. Conveniently close to the Interstate and easy accessible.

We reserved a primitive type tent site and were very pleased that we had so much room. The site sat in the pines and shade was easy to come by. The campground was spacious and quiet and had a wealth of amenities for all interests/age groups. Definitely would stay here again, whether in a tent or an RV or cabin.

Nice new changes and staff was very courteous. We've been staying here for our Sturgis week 13 years. The campground has trees and is a quiet nice clean place to stay. The surrounding area is beautiful to ride our motorcycles so this is a perfect place for us to stay.

Enjoyed it again the only thing I don't like is the last two spaces we have been in have a slope to the back. Our trailer steps are close to back so we have to put 6x6 cedar blocks on the ground to be able to use the steps.

Our family rented two RV spots and a cabin. The RV spots were lovely. If those specific spots could be rented, it would be worth coming back. However, most other RV spots were not as nice. But the cabin was terrible - at $120/night+!! The continuous smell from the nearby sewer dump station, a pool of pink vomit found in the trashcan and an ineffectual ceiling fan - clearly not worth it.

Booked online not even thinking about Sturgis that coming weekend. Got a reservation, when we got there check in was easy, all the staff was great. Safest campground I’ve stayed at since ya know- bikers! Had a good stay

This KOA was the best KOA we've ever stayed in. What made the difference for us was the staff. They went out of their way to provide the best customer service we've experienced at any campground in our travels. The icing on the cake for us was when the gentleman delivered our firewood to us in his pajamas. Having said that, it wasn't for the wonderful attire, it was that he did this with a smile even though we had not arrived back to the campground until well after the office was closed and it was already dark. This KOA is beautiful and has all the amenities that a traveller could ask for. It is located within a half hour drive of so many of the attractions in the area. We'll be back and we're hoping to have the same gracious and friendly staff to greet us again.

I can not say enough amazing things about this KOA the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us and make our stay an amazing one I would go back in a heart beat and highly recommend

Our 2nd time camping here! Loved it 2 years ago & just as much this time! We splurged for a patio site this time & it did not disappoint. Nice, comfortable sites, clean restrooms & laundry area, well-kept grounds, super friendly & helpful staff (Special thanks to John & Janny, who were amazing!). Beautiful location & positioned perfectly to easily explore so much of what the Black Hills has to offer. Nice to be able to come back to your campsite after a fun day of exploration & be able to relax comfortably outside with a nice fire (some of the KOAs where we stayed on this trip, simply did not have enough room between sites to do that comfortably). We certainly hope to return...love this area & this KOA is one of favorite campgrounds in the US!
