Staff was friendly and escorted me to my site. The site for my 37ft camper was ample sized to also accommodate my truck. The camp site was level. Good power and water. Wifi worked well. No cable service for tv, but that is not important as the scenery and countyside is so awesome at Cripple Creek. There was no cell service in the area, but connecting to the KOA wifi made up for that. Great stay.

Very peaceful even though it was crowded. The pads were very close together. The staff were super and very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA. Very clean showers, great helpful staff, AWESOME sunsets. K9 park was very nice. Delicious Pancakes and great Pizza!!! And clean mountain air. Vist this place soon!!

The only negative would be the slope to get out the camper….. otherwise great area. It you are physically active I’m sure you would love all the hiking areas!

Since we're terraced on a hill, we do recommend you park as far left on your parking pad as possible to avoid this inconvenience. Glad you enjoyed your stay!

We have a family reunion at the Cripple Creek KOA every year and it always provides a beautiful, clean, helpful, and welcoming space for our family to gather. Thank you for all you do to provide a wonderful outdoor stay.

Well kept up. Bathrooms clean and comfortable. Beautiful area. Close to Cripple Creek and Victor. Have very nice decks you can rent with your site for groups. Really enjoyed.

We had a wonderful time and the park is very well kept up and everything was clean and neat. Now if tjhey could have stopped some of the rain, it would have been perfect! Very nice campground.

Nice and clean Staff was great The Site pads definitely need work to make it more level and at least 4 feet wider. When you step out of you door the ground slopes away and it is difficult for older people To keep their balance. We had 8 coaches in our group and six had the same comments. Difficult to level motorhomes Would not recommend for older people or for Handicapped.

Thanks for the honest review, Michael. We don't really have an option of extending sites since we're on the side of a hill however I would have assigned you to a different site had I known about your situation. I'm glad we were at least able to get you into a friendlier site when you arrived.

Campsite 170 is the absolute best! We had our 13 month old corralled all weekend thanks to the beautiful deck! We appreciate all the manicured lawns and we’ll taken care of facilities: - Stumpf’s

WOW!! A beautiful, peaceful, natural and secluded campground! Friendly staff, spacious sites with great amenities- and was exactly as it was stated online. Clean and secure bathroom, laundry, and shower areas. Dog friendly (an ACTUAL GRASSY dog area!!) !. We could not have asked for more. This is by far my favorite KOA campground. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Some of the sites are tight. The RV next to us had the slide extending so close to the fire pit that we could not use it. We wanted to cook over charcoal but that was not an option.

Thanks for the review, Shawna! Some of our sites are close together (built in the 90s!) but I don't think anything in the 170 row are. I have relocated a few fire rings for this reason but will revisit 177 to see if it needs to be moved. Thanks for the review!

While we thoroughly enjoyed this KOA, it was a tight squeeze for our 45" RV., thus the rating of 9. The park is very clean, well maintained and quiet. The patio spots looked like they would be a lot of fun to stay in.

This Cripple Creek, CO KOA deserves an award. The improvements made since we were last there are incredible. The look and feel of the place is so pleasant. Everything from the patios with Colorado furniture to the cabins with fenced yards makes a place for everyone to feel comfortable. The large pet run was so clean. We loved our time there.

Outstanding location for beautiful scenery. Park was very clean and well maintained. Our site was shorter than we expected that it would be and it could use some minor grading to make it more level. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Service was first class! Wonderful sights and the scenery was wonderful. The area is within some very nice parks and nearby Cripple Creek does offer casinos and a nice down town with many restaurants and shops. We were there for the 4th of July and it was wonderful. Thanks to Derrick his wife and staff again Woody and Mary.

We ended up leaving a day early and just ate the cost. When checking in, one of the ladies at the check in desk was quite rude. The camping spots are small and very cramped with little space between spots.

Thanks for the feedback, and for sharing more detail in email. Staff has been coached. Our terraced RV sites are all about 30x60, but add'l parking is available on the road next to your site. Per your registration terms, we do require adequate advance notification for early departures.

Our stay was wonderful. The campground is clean and well taken care of, to include camp K-9. Camp K-9 is large and even has a couple of benches for pet owners. The store is packed with necessities and fun items to buy. Having the pizza kitchen/delivery available is awesome too. All staff are friendly and respectful. The views-pictures can not do them justice as to how pretty it is.

This campground is located in a beautiful area. The hosts were attentive and friendly. There is pizza you can order on site so that made for an easy dinner. We rented a propane fire ring and loved it. We were inspired to purchase one of our own. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Wonderful family owned campground with quick responses to phone calls and questions. The sites are nice and there are a lot of places to walk your dog or take him to the dog park. Laundry prices very reasonable and laundry room very clean and neat. The showers and bathrooms were also very clean. I did not use the community kitchen as we did not cook much . Loved it!

We've stayed here twice and the customer service is always great. They do serve pizzas and pancakes and that's a very nice. The owner is really friendly and committed to campers enjoying their stays. Views are very nice. The only drawback is that the sites are breast to each other and unshaded. Location is awesome as a hiking basecamp.

Beautiful well taken care of campground with lots of amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the off-leash dog area. The only issue we encountered, which in no part is the fault of the KOA, is there is a shooting club located next to the campground and one of our pups does not do well with loud sounds like gunfire and fireworks.
