The personel were great especially given that the power was out. The campground had been a very pretty place to stay. I looked forward to staying there, nestled among the redwoods. It is no longer because so many of the trees have been removed. It is no ugly and barren. I won't be back!

Unfortunately, the electrical power had been cut to the campground because of a fire near Medford. That is nothing the campground could control. However, it would have been nice to get a notification that there was no power. Maybe a mass email could have been sent to let us know. I would have stopped en route to pick up some butane for my portable stove. Other than that, I always enjoy this place.

Apparently, no fault of the KOA in Crescent City. No Power, No internet, No TV. All due to local fires and a power outage. We were meeting up with family and it became an old-fashioned camping outing. So not all lost. Campground was nice. Lots of new sites going in with new cabins. My site could use some new leveling. Tripped several times on gopher or squirrel holes. Overall, will stay again.

the local fire had taken out the electricity and internet in the park as well in the town of Crescent City. It would have been nice to get a heads up txt that was happening. We could have planned for it better. Travel was an overnight travel stop and it difficult to fuel up that night. 1 station was open and cash only. A discount would be nice as we did not get what we paid for

When I arrived, at approximately 5:30 pm, the store was closed. The website says they close at 9 pm. The site I was assigned is NOT COMPLETE. Half gravel, half dirt! The site is more like a tent site. I called the after hours phone and was given instructions to go to a different site. The next day, I had to move again. Maintenance was friendly. I won’t be going back. I left a day early. So sad

We arrived late in the evening/dark and were a little confused by a note on the door with our spot number and a note stating power was not an option due to wildfires in area. The next morning we wandered around and saw how charming the place was. With the fire in the area, we weren't going to be able to do the things we wanted to so headed toward home so didn't stay the 2nd night we intended.

Recommend? I guess it depends how you feel about plentiful vomit on the floor of the men’s restroom that took them about 4 hours to clean up after I informed them. Sinks had little to no water flow. Site was nice and water/ electric worked fine. We’ll shielded from neighbors.

We were checked in by the most caring and courteous man and woman. I saw how they treated other campers as well as ourselves. If there were more stars to give, I’d be giving them.

It was very disappointing we had to stay in the smallest, and one of only two back in sites in the entire park. Although we paid for full hook ups and were told we would get Wi-Fi. There was no Wi-Fi available,also no cable available. asked the girl at the front desk, she said that’s because you’re too far from the office. Our site was so small our slide touched bushes. Tent site was NOT level. There was no level ground to pitch tent. This looked like a new addition to KOA and was under development or was in progress to be completed?

Even if the campground was busy, it was quiet. Good facilities: showers, laundramat, etc. 10 min drive from Crescent City. Close to Redwood and beach trails.

Amazing campground, loved our site nestled in the redwoods. It is so close to some amazing hikes and places to visit. I appreciated having laundry, showers and a small store on site. My only complaints are that the bathroom was flooded (with what seemed to be toilet water) and the washer broke (which ate our coins so we had to go into town late at night to get more to finish the load).

Loved our site in the redwoods. Restrooms are in worse shape than our last time we stayed. 1 shower stall and one toilet was out of service in the men’s restrooms. Smeared feces on the wall of the only one operating. For a RV park of this size more operable facilities should be offered.

Our site was right next to what I believe was the maintenance facility? Staff passed through both of our neighboring sites all day in multiple vehicles driving fast, stirring up dust. Not a safe spot for the kids or dog to play due to them passing so closely with trees blocking view. Fire pit was essentially out of the site next to the road, the grill was bent and damaged. Dirty playground.

staff was very accommodating re: getting us "in". We had space 202 which is a community type spot with eye to eye contact with neighbors. women's showers were deplorable with stagnant water on floor. No response with after hour # when called.Did get a $6 credit for shower conditions. LOL They have a problem with bike theft secure all items Great physical loca tions with plenty of trees.

Older campground with nice trees, but poorly maintained and in need of updating badly. Bathrooms were dirty, and woefullly inadequate for the number of campsites; I had to wait until after 11 PM to get a shower. Staff might benefit from some training in customer service/making people feel welcome.

Location was ideal for us. Campground was clean and staff was friendly. Would have given them higher rating if restrooms were cleaned on a regular basis. I question how often a through cleaning takes place.

Nice staff, good location, in a nice setting. But the RV section is old and tired. Probably the dirtiest bathrooms I've seen at any KOA. I don't believe they were cleaned the 3 days we stayed. RV sites are tight and on top of each other. And they let more than one camper per site. So we were sandwiched between multiple big parties. All in all, an okay stay. But not great.

Great location. Staff was extremely friendly. Our site was close to the main building an convenient. Other site were well situated. Needed some assistance on departure day and they helped us get our RV fixes. Very Quiet location even being next to 101 hwy. Thank you .

You really need to consider having the main roads inside the camp asphalted. It is just too dusty there, not enough gravel to hold the dirt down. The person next to me had one of his childrens bicycle stolen even though he had a thick steel cable on it wrapped around his camper wheel. He and I both got up multiple times to keep an eye on the bikes and they still were able to steal it.

Campground staff (outside service and maintenance) was very helpful and pleasant. Facilities, like bathrooms and showers, could use and upgrade. Parents should be reminded to pay attention to their children. Noisy kids running through campsites other than their own make for a very unpleasant, not to mention unsafe experience.

The beauty of this campground has been destroyed by the destruction of the redwoods for which the camp is named. They have been hacked down and either stacked throughout the campground or left lying where they fell. It's mind-boggling and depressing. Too bad, because it must have been a stunning place before this was done. Staff is friendly but that doesn't make up for this mess.

This is a hidden gem of a Campground, the cleanliness and surroundings make it such a relaxing environment! Owners/Staff are very helpful and make efforts above and beyond expectations! So Glad we discovered this Campground through the KOA App. Already planning our return trip!

Multiple bathroom stalls and showers out of order. Same with washers/dryers. Those that worked were taken up entirely by staff. Bathrooms were not attended to.

Place needs some work. My mother was placed next to an old ran down trailer. The owner recently cut down a lot of redwoods. It’s really lost a lot of charm with the missing trees. Might look for a different campground next time. There was toilet paper on the ground around my sewer connection from the previous guest.

Great campground w/ good amenities. Clean bathrooms too. Only issue was that at 5:30 am, homeless people (1 woman, 2 men) were taking showers in the bathhouse in the back of the campground. The woman was in the shower for over 45 min! Didn't think there would be any hot water left. Luckily there was. I would recommend coded locks like they have on the front bathhouse or a gate at the entrance.

This KOA has a very limited number of RV sites with hookups. Our back-in site had the water and electricity on the wrong side. We ended up heading in. The trailer next to us (and a few others in the park) looked like they’ve been there for a very long time and junk was piled up all around the site. The restrooms/ shower houses are in serious need of updating. The cabins looked nice.

Nice sites, the kids loved the goats and chicken. Had to be very careful with our bikes as theft is a problem. Our bikes were okay, but the neighboring rv had their good bike stolen. Despite signs that only registered guests can use the facilities, a member of our group saw three homeless people who who came in so the woman could shower just before sunrise.

Really great KOA, cabins are in the midst of Redwoods. Clean campground overall. Office hours are not that great, 10-3 only.

I love all the great staff that work there, they have a few young helpers that bring you wood or whatever else you need. Debbie is great in office and well Steve the main mantance man is amazing. Keep up good work
