This setting was quiet and rustic which can be peaceful after a day on the road. Downside for some could be no cable tv. Bathrooms needed some repair and TLC. Update description in KOA booklet to reflect game room indefinitely closed which may be of interest to families with kids.

The Campground just opened for the season. Staff were friendly and helped in any way possible. When I arrived it was raining and some of the areas had standing water which made maneuvering up an icline tricky. Otherwise a great place to stay.

The campers next to us were playing music until 10:30 that could be heard in our camper. I called the phone number on the website at 9:30 and it went to voice mail but the message was not understandable. The sewer drain was at the end of the site and my drain is in the middle of the camper and my hose was a too short, thankfully there was a Walmart near by.

This is not laid well for Big Rigs and should not be listed as Big Rig accessible. We are in a 40’ SuperC towing a Jeep. Sharp R turn into site with another almost immediate sharp L into site. Exiting had the two pull thrus in front of us not been empty we would have had to unhook Jeep to make R turn exit out of site to avoid tree and boulders.

We love this KOA. The location is so convenient and the campground is well kept. It is a quiet, comfortable, and friendly place to stay and we will definitely be back.

For a Journey KOA this is a great place to stop en-route to your destination. Loved being greeted by the friendly camp dog as we walk into the camp office store!

Nice place, could use some cleaning up around sites, but we was there before it was officially open. Restrooms was dirty, mostly from plants stored in restrooms and dead leaves all over the floors and dirty floors. Very nice location and a campground with a lot of potential. Because of being before season I will not give it a lower rating at this time.

arrived and stayed over one night. Early in season-don't even know if officially open. No bathrooms or pool but all we wanted was a place to sleep.

Sites need some work. Ours was mostly gravel, dirt, and sloping. Otherwise nice grassy area around the dog park.

We stayed while the office was still closed for winter.. All communication was done via e-mail and check-in information was by the front door of the office with map, wifi info, etc. Pro: Wonderful stay. Friendly, fast service from staff. Cons:Big rigs can be tricky - lots of trees, bushes, rocks and sites / roads are not designed for maneuvering large rigs especially if the campground is full.

Very nice setting with larger mature trees. We prefer paved or asphalt parking pads however and this facility has gravel which is OK for a night or two but you can't avoid bringing dirt and gravel inside. Sites are pretty large for a KOA, plenty of room for slides on both sides. They have a sewer pipe drain hose at their dump station so you don't have to get yours out. THANKS for that, helpful

You came in our off season, and had a full hookup pull thru site, easy in easy out for 1 night. we live on site, and our phone number posted on front door, you never contacted us about any issue??

Water and sewer hook up were broken and difficult to connect. Bathroom shower heads very dated and in need of upgrades.

We have a 43' fifth wheel and were barely able to get in or out of the big rig pull thru with full hook-ups that we reserved. The campground was advertised as big rig friendly, but I would say...not so much! I had to hold back bushes on both ends of the lot to keep our new fifth wheel from getting scratched. The site was muddy and the rig dug in soft spots. We stayed one night in April.

Hello, we have many sites that are big rig friendly, you reserved same day as arrival and the site you were in was the only 50amp full hookup we had available. I would have definitely put you in 21 thru 25 or 1-4 if we had any of those available! :)

We were on our way to Louisville ky so we just needed a place stay over one night. We pulled in just before dark and found our spot with no trouble. It was fairly level spot close to the restroom. The restroom and showers were clean. It was nice they were dog friendly! It was quite place. would definitely stay again and recommend it. People were friendly and helpful!!

This was not my first stay and I chose it because it’s a nice campground and even though the office wasn’t open yet (April 15th) I was able to communicate with someone (possibly the owner) who set me up with what I needed. The campground is open year round with some limitations but workable for an ez in and ez out with bathhouse being open if needed. I will be back.

The site director/owner was very friendly and helped us find a great spot. Our dogs really liked the “bark park.” This was very close to Wabash College and many places to eat/visit in Crawfordsville.

We arrived at dark and only stayed one night. The woman we contacted via phone and text was very helpful and walked us through the reservation process. It was painless because she was so competent. Our site was level and the dog park was one of the best we have encountered in our travels. The campground was nicely wooded. We hope to see it during full leaf-out. We highly recommend this campground.

This is a very quiet campground, I'm not sue it should be open all year, seems to be a lot of campers that live there. Could use an upgrade of tree trimming and pavement. Office was only open once during our stay, couldn't talk to anyone on the phone could only email or text. This is the second time we have stayed there so all in all we came back because the campground was so quiet.

We had a great stay at Crawfordsville KOA, staff and residents were kind and helpful! Our kids loved exploring the campground and playing on the playground. There was a lot to explore in Crawfordsville like Gen. Lew Wallace's study. Bottom line is we'll be back!

Good campsite for short stays with RVs however some sites are sunken or super muddy. If it rains good luck moving your RV.

I've never stayed here but I delivered pizza here a lot. Whoever runs this place is great, always helpful and kind. I want to buy an RV just to have a reason to stay here

Rough around the edges. Pros: Good strong internet. Easy hook-ups, convenient location, animal friendly, unique, and grounds are decently maintained. Staff is kind. Cons: Staff is kind, but some are little gruff. Dogs barking is loud and continuous. A little tight pulling through. Road noise is louder. I would stay again for a night or two, unlikely for a long-term stay. It has a super cute family owned feel.
