Stayed in site 21, the only one that you can get the DirecTV satelittes. Had to re-park with the toad hanging out in the driveway to pick it up. People in the office were very helpful.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Not the only one that you can get satelite, the only one I had open/available that you can get satelite on haha :) you weren't that far in the drive with your tow car, plenty of room for people to get by you :)

Really nice overnight stop. Decorated for the season nice. Friendly people. Store open till 8. Ice available at anytime. GREAT!

The sites have been updated with gravel which is a plus. Still old vibe. And cats galore in store. Not appealing.

we do have an office kitty and an office dog they are our greeters! :) old vibe? sorry you feel that way, most people say its homey and comfortable feeling. Have a good day!

Nice clean and orderly campground with shaded sites. Staff friendly and very helpful. This is a repeat overnight stop form me traveling I74. Convenient to the highway and services.

Simple check in even after hours. Nice level campsite. Very clean restroom. I was in after dark and out right after sunrise but it was a perfect overnight stay.

The KOA was in a very convenient location, not too far off the highway. Check-in was easy and quick. There were plenty of trees at the camp sites but the sites are fairly short. Our pickup and 29 ft camper barely fit. We had full hookups but the sewer was too far to the end of the site. Couldn’t hook up with two sections of drain tubing. It’s a nice KOA, just needs a few tweaks

oh no! next time make sure to ask for a DUAL Sewer site, those sites have 2 sewer connections on them so you can reach either one :)

A lot of hard work has gone into this place over the summer and it is really paying off !! The fresh gravel in the sites has made then level and solid . The plantings and red mulch add a great sense of color about the grounds . Lots of big trees give shade. It use to be just a convenient place to stay, I Now I really look forward to stopping here and am sorry I can't stay a night longer.

Good location for access to Indianapolis and local Crawfordsville attractions like the rotary jail and General Wallace house. The campground is clean with a friendly staff. I would caution people with huge rigs that the travel lanes are narrow with many trees, some with low branches.

The campsites and grounds were nice, level and lots of trees. The staff member we interacted with was quite nice and the location is good. The negative was the office/registration area. We walked in to a rather cluttered office to be greeted by 8 free roaming cats and a dog. The area was quite cluttered and there were rubber bins stacked high in the laundry. Both those areas were uninviting!

The rubber bins, were food storage containers that got dropped off and en route to the storage closet :) our office dog is Romeo and he greets everyone since he was 12 weeks old, he is now 7 years old :) he will always be our office greeter

Absolutely beautiful facilities, you have a great treasure in this park and it's plain to see you realize it. It was nice to see the pool open later than many other parks. Very nice location for closeness to many things to see and do. It was like a private forest in the heart of town! I couldn't hang out in the store with you as I have bad cat allergy, but it was clear the kitties are loved.

I am not sure how this is a KOA. When arriving the entrance to the office was very junky. The office reeked of cat litter box. I could barely breathe in the short time it took us to check-in. The site was okay but the bathrooms also were very bad.

Good campsite for short stays with RVs however some sites are sunken or super muddy. If it rains good luck moving your RV.

I've never stayed here but I delivered pizza here a lot. Whoever runs this place is great, always helpful and kind. I want to buy an RV just to have a reason to stay here

Rough around the edges. Pros: Good strong internet. Easy hook-ups, convenient location, animal friendly, unique, and grounds are decently maintained. Staff is kind. Cons: Staff is kind, but some are little gruff. Dogs barking is loud and continuous. A little tight pulling through. Road noise is louder. I would stay again for a night or two, unlikely for a long-term stay. It has a super cute family owned feel.
