A nice out of the way, quiet, and wooded campground. Only stayed two nights on our way through and will consider using this KOA on our return trip

Very nice place. Clean, well-lit without being too bright, quiet, had the requisite train nearby (it's not camping without hearing one) nice folks in office. Gave it a 4 because the tent sites didn't seem to be level enough, and it was tricky for me to figure out how to park. So glad I arrived in the daylight! Loved the space between sites, and the tent area being sort of close to the rest room.

Interior roads need improvement. Difficult to find site in the dark due to poor lighting.

Nice quiet campground. We had a pull through site and it was nice. It was the end of the season, but the facilities were good. Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot. I would recommend this campground to anyone that asks.

The sites are all wooded with plenty of shade. The showers could use some upgrading (felt like needles with high water pressure through a tiny shower head) but overall we will come back next year for another family trip. Everyone was respectful of our stuff and our site.

Initial site we got was very hilly and somewhat muddy. We paid extra to upgrade to a larger, level pull thru spot. Quiet campground; ok bathrooms/showers.

Cowboy is always very helpful and accommodating. Jamie is always very nice and makes sure all is good!

Not what we expected. Place is a little run down with very small rv sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Easy check in. Easy pull through site. Close to the highway but not right next to it. Friendly staff and a few nice animals roaming around. I would definitely stay here again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

we have been keeping up with them with the mower and leaf blower, but the day you were here it rained all day and night on Monday so they were soaking wet the day you were here and we didn't get to them. :) Your site was directly in front of office tho and I remember you pulled in just fine :)

I made a last minute reservation while traveling and have stayed here previously was taken care of. This is a nice campground with a comfortable feeling and I will stay here again.

Campground was nice and peaceful. Staff was extremely friendly and was willing to answer any question that we had. I would recommend staying here and will definitely stay here again in the future.

This was a Journey KOA so we did not expect "extras" or amenities. We generally like Journey KOAs while traveling long distance and just staying overnight before continuing on the road. However this Journey KOA was in a good location for our extended visit to the area. We would stay there again.

We stayed two nights on our trek north. The campground is quiet with many shade trees. The staff is pleasant and willing to answer questions. It was exciting to see all the older renovated retro campers that pulled into the campground the first night we were there.

Nice campground and the office to heck in was open until 8:00pm. The gal in the office was super welcoming and friendly. Very easy to find.

Bath house was clean and sanitary. Staff was very friendly and so helpful! Other guest were outstanding and friendly. Will continue to come back every year for the GNCC Races. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was great, the location convenient, and the grounds and facilities very clean. We liked the live tropical plants in the restrooms! There was an unpleasant sewer odor in women's restroom, however. Our site was pretty level and roomy enough. Quiet times were observed. There was some road and train noise, but not terrible. Overall, a very nice KOA. We'll be back!

This KOA needs some TLC or just better upkeep. Our faucet to turn on the water was broke and we used the neighbors as it was not being used. The sewer was broke and very hard to hook up to and keep black water contents from spilling over. Every time I went to women's restroom there was a female worker smoking right by the door. Sort of looked bad. Probably will look elsewhere in this area.

Oh NO I think you have the wrong LOCATION :) there is only 1 female worker, myself, and I don't smoke :)

We only stayed one night, but we were impressed by the campground. Easy access, clean sites & pleasant people. We would stay there again if the opportunity arises.

Nice campground with beautiful mature trees. Most sites were level and the property was well kept. My wife said that the women's shower could use a little updating (water not very warm, shower heads spray water everywhere), but the rest of the bathroom area was clean and nice.

Close to town, quiet campground, well kept, clean bathrooms, and the staff was very friendly and took care of anything we needed.

Good campsite for short stays with RVs however some sites are sunken or super muddy. If it rains good luck moving your RV.

I've never stayed here but I delivered pizza here a lot. Whoever runs this place is great, always helpful and kind. I want to buy an RV just to have a reason to stay here

Rough around the edges. Pros: Good strong internet. Easy hook-ups, convenient location, animal friendly, unique, and grounds are decently maintained. Staff is kind. Cons: Staff is kind, but some are little gruff. Dogs barking is loud and continuous. A little tight pulling through. Road noise is louder. I would stay again for a night or two, unlikely for a long-term stay. It has a super cute family owned feel.
