We were shocked to see high reviews because this place was awful. We arrived about 4:00pm and while the sign said OPEN, it was already closed down so we could not get anything. The place was filthy, dirty & gross. Needs to have fencing around the grounds. The neighborhood was awful. The next morning, person in office totally unhelpful. I didn't have high expectations, but even low were not met.

Loved this facility. Staff are great. Homemade waffles in the morning were such an unexpected treat. Clean bathrooms. Clean laundry room. Nice tent site. The weirdness on the other side of the fence? Just adds to the story. Bugles, pledge of allegiance, national anthem…all strange but harmless. Actually all of this served to help us to meet and bond with our fellow tent campers. Good experience

The camp hosts were friendly, and the site was pretty clean. The squishy mats in the shower were kind of gross, but you should be wearing shower shoes anyway and you’ll be fine. The dog park is pretty dusty, so that was a little disappointing. The MAGA guy….honestly I thought it was hilarious and me and my neighbor campers were anxiously awaiting the sunset national anthem. Friendly staff, great location for visiting Craters of the Moon. The free coffee and waffles in the morning is a great amenity!

The people running the campground were very nice very helpful. The bathrooms and the showers in the campground were so gross that I would not even shower the next morning before I left. The showers are very dirty. Dirty doesn’t even explain how bad they were. I would never recommend this campground to anybody.

Campground is nice. Staff were amazing, allowed me to freeze my 1 gallon bottles I was using as ice packs in their freezer over night. Free waffles and coffee ! Great base camp for adventures.

We enjoyed our tent campsite and the community at the site with the ice cream social in the evenings. The showers were well maintained and our hosts were very helpful.

Camp hosts and owners are very nice, campground itself is not so much. Just dirt and dried grass, small green pool, definitely not up to koa standards. Dog poop all over our site. Bathrooms old and outdated but clean. Only stayed for one night, they did serve waffles in the morning which was a plus.

The pool looked enticing. The staff were warm and welcoming. It is so very quiet and dark night skies for the Craters experience. I would update men’s bathroom and spray dirt paths with oil-based mixture used on gravel roads to keep dust and dirt down. Can a privacy fence or fence posts brightly painted help with the squatters surrounding the property?

The free waffles and coffee as well as the staff were amazing but the area outside of the campsite was off setting. There were a lot of busses with garfitti and one mentioned something about meth heads (drug reference) . Which we did not care to have to explain that to our kids. There is a neigbor that blasts reverence at 9am, not an ideal alarmcloc. Same neighbor sings national anthem at sunset.

I’ve stayed at several KOA’s in the past few years, but this location’s staff were the most visible, involved, friendly, and helpful of any location. They had a fun IPA & Wine sampling event going on and they sorted out a tent camping site location question I had. If I come back there, I’ll be staying here.

The owner is very nice and helpful! Everything is laid out just how it's supposed to be so you're not guessing on anything. Would definitely recommend!

Great campsite and view! Bathroom was clean, everyone was very nice, and there were many fun activities like bikes to rent, horseshoe, and waffles in the morning.

Our visit was one of the best customer service experiences in recent memory. The owners went above and beyond to be sure our stay was comfortable from check in to check out. We were provided a loaner tarp for our tent site when we realized we were without one and also received a complimentary waffle breakfast in the morning. Very caring and attentive staff; highly recommend you visit them!

It was a very quiet campground which isn't always the case. It was small in size but big in service. The staff were friendly and did a great job. Only downside was that the "heated" pool was never really heated. But all said and done we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you.

The place looked like a hate crime waiting to happen. Had trailers with political messages on them making the area feel extremely uncomfortable and hostile. (The trailers weren't on the property itself. It seemed like neighbors to the campgrounds had them) When we arrived, I couldn't find an envelope with my info so we called the person in charge and he came down to help. Very nice gentleman.

Besides being there for 3 days and seeing the same debris on the floor in the bathroom and cold showers as well as someone stole my camp chair. It would have been nice if the owner even cared about that. Waited to ask him if anyone turned it in (hoping for the best). He never showed up to the store that was suppose to open at 8am. Waited till 10am, no one! Called and he finally answered around 10a

Excellent stay with friendly service. I would give five stars but the pool wasn’t open. I’m sure that it was because of the early season stay and that it would be opening soon.

Arrived late, check in was easy, but the arrival shed could have used a little more light inside(too dim to see arrival board). Morning reveille thanks to the neighbor was special...but otherwise it was quiet and relaxing.

Someone was in our assigned spot and we were uncomfortable knowing how to handle it. There was no one in the office, nor were there instructions for how to deal with this. The store was closed and the sign said it would still be open, as did the web site. We were counting on that. We called the number, left a message about the other campers taking our spot, and no one returned our call.

Tents sites were nice enough with picnic tables and clean bathrooms. The website is very outdated and does not have current info. Office was closed when we arrived at 6pm (we didn't realize winter hours are 10-4 and begin right after Labor Day, not on website). Also NO BREAKFAST as specified on the website. We tried calling before arriving to confirm breakfast but never got a call back.

Wonderful hosts, great location, clean bathrooms, other nice amenities (pool, free waffles, loaded gift shop/store, movie nights). I've stayed in other KOA's and have never been impressed. We chose this one on short notice because we were exhausted and didn't want to stay in another crummy motel. It's not fancy but its just right, and the price is incredible. Slow down and see Arco! So worth it!

Amazing people! They helped us so so much with our broken car and all the trouble. We had an amazing stay and we were welcome from the minute we walked in. Kind regards from the Dutch people with the broken car�

We enjoyed our stay at this KOA. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. The pool area, showers and restrooms are very clean. Our site was spacious and quite. The campground is close to the Crater of the Moon park.

Only 20 minutes from the Craters of the Moon national park we found a peaceful, clean and well managed RV park. RV sites were spacious with full hookups, strong cell phone reception (T-Mobile and AT&T) for those not using Starlink, comfy laundry room, and even an on-site golf simulator facility. Conan was kind and helpful
