We had a lovely stay in a RV that was very roomy, comfortable, and with all the amenities you need. The owner, Allen, was so nice and welcoming. He even carried in our luggage (for 2 seventy year old women). The next morning he showed up to carry our luggage out. The campground was nice and so close to Craters of the Moon. We would recommend.

The amenities lack the finesse of some other KOA sites, but that’s compensated with the friendliness and helpfulness of the people of the KOA. We’ve been here for the third time, now with a power outage. The people went out of their way to help us. Great!

The RV had everything we needed. You just need to get a new American flag for your flagpole. The one that's there is kind of shabby-looking. I would be happy to rent here again.

Conflicting info on the website. One spot said the pool closes Labor Day, another said it closes 9/17. The website & my checkin paperwork said free coffee & waffles from 9-10 a.m. No coffee or waffles. We stayed in a cabin. Website says queen sized bed, I’m 5’ 4” & felt cramped. No exterior lights for bathroom. We booked 2 nights and left after 1. Won’t be coming back.

Alan the owner met us and got us checked in. He was leaving and planning to lock up the pool. After a long day in the car all 8 of the kids traveling with us were dying to swim. He let us have the pool as long as we wanted and the kids and parents were so great full. We stayed in the RV on the property for 100$/night. It was beautiful and well appointed. Definitely a place we hope to stay again.

We rented a luxurious RV. Owner and people who work at the KOA were polite, friendly and helpful. It was our first KOA experience and won’t be our last.

Nice little cabin in a great campground. Nice bathrooms and laundry services. My kids were happy you had horseshoes… many KOA’s advertise them but then don’t have the actual horseshoes to play!

The employees (mainly Kyle) were great. However, the facilities lost power unannounced and didn’t seem to care that the entire campground was left in the dark. Also, they take orders for food and were out of everything on the menu minus a burger. I requested a partial refund due to power outage, no response from the owner at this time. Building is in need of repairs (lots of dict tape holding things together). Bathrooms in need of updates (only 2 showers working). Kids had an awesome time feeding mice living under the walkway.

The cabin I stayed in was beautiful and had an amazing view of the mountains. Kaleb was incredible and took great care of me. If I am ever back in the Arco area, I would absolutely stay at The Craters of the Moon KOA again!

We stayed 2 nights in the 5th wheel trailer. The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. The husband and wife team that were running the place, were very nice. I wish them much success in their future.

Very flexible, courteous staff. Asked for a smaller cabin than we had reserved and changed immediately and efficiently. Very quiet CG with mountains in the distance. The refrigerator and microwave in the two person cabin were a first and much appreciated. Thank you

We stayed for one night in the camping cabin. Cabin was clean and quiet. Campground just opened for the season so some features of the campground were out of season so I can imagine it would be even better once everything was open. Check in was simple, washrooms were clean, setting was relaxing. TV was not functioning but did not miss it. Liked that there was a fridge.

Staff was friendly. Location is very specific to Craters of the Moon - not much else to experience. The camper to rent was really nice - could use a few extra kitchen essentials.

Very nice lady to work with. Everything was as explained prior to booking and no surprises. Without her help we would not have been able to visit the places we did. Being able to charge an EV was most important.

The bathroom was clean and so was our cabin. The website is misleading, no coffee or breakfast as advertised. Also, no fishing close by. The location is in the middle of nowhere. It’s a cute little town with a diner called Pickles right out of the 50’s. Looks like a haven for off road fun.

I stayed in a cabin Mid June and it was exactly what I needed. I wasn't expecting to see the Tetons from the cabin but I was pleasantly surprised when I could. Highly recommend this KOA. Staff was exceptional. Cafe food was also great.

This is one of our favorite places to stay on our Montana summer trips. Our site was level and everything worked. The staff is friendly and Jasmine is awesome. Our latest stay was perfect
