The cabin I stayed in was beautiful and had an amazing view of the mountains. Kaleb was incredible and took great care of me. If I am ever back in the Arco area, I would absolutely stay at The Craters of the Moon KOA again!

Nice large site I was given but not the type I had reserved and paid for so on checking in I was charged an additional $14.48 . Staff working the counter was on her second day and said that is what their system showed. I showed her my email confirmation for the $20 basic no frills site but no luck. Another staff member, Kaleb, told me he would see what he could do, he was not on duty next day.

What a great campground. It was clean the staff was great. Plenty of room. The ice cream social was excellent. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time here

Alan and Barbara are the best hosts we have encountered! So much fun to be with out in one of the more remote locations in the US. We came to see the Craters of the Moon but also really enjoyed Alan’s recommendation to visit the EBR1 museum!

We found the grounds and bathrooms to be well kept. The 5:00 ice cream social was a great perk.

Incredibly friendly hosts! LOTS of space between campers. Restrooms, showers, kitchen wash sink open 24 hours!

The couple at the registration desk are nice & pleasant, easy to talk with, eager to please, we would return to the park only because of them. Love being able to order food, and have it delivered. The store inside the building is nice. The RV park itself is rundown. The sites are uneven, large rocks, the 'pad' to park on is 8 feet or less in all the sites, picnic tables are old and wobbly.

Nice little campground about 20 miles from Craters of the Moon itself. Friendly and helpful staff. Washrooms and showers could do with an update and good clean. Loved the ‘ice cream social’ and waffle breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights in the 5th wheel trailer. The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. The husband and wife team that were running the place, were very nice. I wish them much success in their future.

We enjoyed our stay in Arco. The pool and ice cream social was a nice addition. Shon & Molly greeted us like we were old friends. They really made us feel at home. Liked how quiet the campground was in the evenings and early mornings. Plus the view was beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Very flexible, courteous staff. Asked for a smaller cabin than we had reserved and changed immediately and efficiently. Very quiet CG with mountains in the distance. The refrigerator and microwave in the two person cabin were a first and much appreciated. Thank you

the employes molie,shon, caleb,doug,summer, were great they were very friendly and helpful. The restrooms and the the place was very clean,including the pool. Best koa we have ever been to. We will diffently be back. Ireally hope the new owners keep it the same way. thank you very much

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Great overnight between Yellowstone and UT national parks. Convenient to Craters of the Moon national monument.

The host were very accommodating and friendly. The Belgian Waffles, which were free, were light and fluffy and it was a great way to start the day. Enjoyed the ice cream social as well.

Nice staff. Free waffles were a nice perk. No enforcement of quiet hours; we had very loud campers near us that were noisy until the wee hours. Bathrooms could use updating. Good proximity to Craters of the Moon & other POI. Pickles Place restaurant just down the road was a great local restaurant with very reasonable prices & good food. due to weather, we were only one of 2 sites not mowed

We wished that the toddlers on motorcycles would have been discouraged from riding through the campground. It would also be wonderful if RVs and campers were encouraged to turn off their lights at night.

The owner was very welcoming upon arrival. The park was clean, the grass was extremely well maintained (and plentiful in an area of volcano ground!), site was level and bathrooms were clean and well attended.

A quiet, serene location with very close to level sites. The staff are very welcoming. I used the laundry and wasn't disappointed.

This was a great place to stay if you are visiting Crsters if the Moon and the Arco area. The campground is in a great location. The campsite was very nice. The pool was great after a day of hiking. They had waffles in the morning which were amazing and the ice cream social hour was a fun treat. My family had a great time at this KOA and we would definitely come again.

Nice location off main road. Great views. The surrounding area and part of the campground are a bit dumpy. The staff, the check in, little cabins and tent camping were great! Our camper site may have been just in a weird spot.

Nice owners, but an poor staff. Second day we had to deal with another family allowing their young children to drive motorbikes around our camp site for over an hour. We asked the staff in the office their policy for this and we were told they did not have one. They asked us to talk to the other parents, they refused to do it themselves. We left to another campground nearby! No refund!

The site was not ready for campers, the grass was not mowed and it was shin height, so we were not able to sit our at our site at all, and it was difficult to set up our utilities with the high grass. They were able to move our reservation up, so maybe that played a factor in it. We would stay again.

Very kind gentleman opened cabin for me and turned on heat. Cabin was clean and well lit. Very nice experience, even if loop road was closed

I stayed in a cabin Mid June and it was exactly what I needed. I wasn't expecting to see the Tetons from the cabin but I was pleasantly surprised when I could. Highly recommend this KOA. Staff was exceptional. Cafe food was also great.

This is one of our favorite places to stay on our Montana summer trips. Our site was level and everything worked. The staff is friendly and Jasmine is awesome. Our latest stay was perfect
