We have stayed at a lot of KOA ( Holidays, Resorts & Journey’s) so we knew wha to expect with this reservation. Our original plan was for only one night but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to extend the reservation an extra day. After checking we went to our site. Pros: big site. Cons: bird poop covered the picnic table, tree limbs littered the spot and was infested with ants. Left early.

Nice people but not a very nice KOA. Fortunately, the lower price reflects that. There was very little shade even though the area gets very hot -- most of the trees looked dead because they had lost their leaves and were visibly stressed. Paved pads would be appreciated. The playground is small and very simple. The store was not well stocked. They do have some nice touches like ice cream socials.

The place and people are great! The sites are a little unlevel and the power is hit or miss. Thankfully the power issues were mostly at night. And it is not the fault of the park. The food and ice cream was a welcome treat! We are at another KOA and they don’t offer that. We miss it!

Nice little cabin in a great campground. Nice bathrooms and laundry services. My kids were happy you had horseshoes… many KOA’s advertise them but then don’t have the actual horseshoes to play!

Wanted to stay one night. Arrived on a windy day. Very windy and exposed as a tent camper. Bathrooms clean and staff was great. Very interactive and sociable with the campers. Walking around cleaning up the grounds. Campsites could use a wind block and a few more trees. No recreation room on site. Wifi was great. Pool stayed busy. They offer an ice cream social. Has potential to be great.

Waffles and coffee every morning was a nice touch. Staff were all very polite and helpful. A camper next to us ran a generator before quiet hours but still annoying. Generators should not be allowed at full hook up sites

A great place to stay for kids in the summer. The playground and pool was full of kids and they were fun to watch. They have an ice cream social every day for $1 a scoop that goes to kids with cancer. The only down side is that they let people with tents stay in RV area. Therefore, the only place they can set them up is on grass near your RV. The staff is awesome and very accommodating.

The facilities are very rundown. The grass was dead the pool was green there were dangerous dead limbs in every tree right over every camp site. For the price being charged per night compared to other koa it was very overpriced. The owners are trying to sell it to every camper that comes in and they are obviously not spending any money on maintenance.

Not a tent friendly place, very hot, next to no adequate shade trees and all are half dead giving no real shade for tent. Most rent sites had NO POWER. The ground area was very uneven with sunken areas and stones. It appeared that KOA Site were more wheeled campers than tent campers. In a word, disappointment!

Nice place to stay near the Craters of the Moon National Monument and very close to the town of Arco. Pickles Place was a great stop for dinner!!

Nice people working at the desk. Glamper fell short, broken furniture, not enough table ware, things not really clean, cooked solely outside and had coffee elsewhere in the a.m. Ice cream at 5 was fun for the kids, rv sites were decent, lovely to have a pool but it could have been cleaner as well, waffles were delicious! An atm would be a nice addition. Overall fun stay. Thank you

Pro: the staff was very kind Cons: The spray painted and abandoned trailer, scarecrow holding the automatic weapon, and rattlesnake conservation area sharing a fence with the campsite was disturbing and unsafe. There was a large uncovered metal pipe in a different site that I was worried about my children falling into. Green pool with low water. Ended up finding different place to stay w/o refund

We spent a week at Craters of the Moon/Arco KOA. We had a very nice shaded pull through spot. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The morning waffles were a very nice treat. The pool is adequate. We would definitely consider another stay if we are in the area.

The employees (mainly Kyle) were great. However, the facilities lost power unannounced and didn’t seem to care that the entire campground was left in the dark. Also, they take orders for food and were out of everything on the menu minus a burger. I requested a partial refund due to power outage, no response from the owner at this time. I wanted this location to be better in my heart and trie

Campsites, pool, and facilities were clean, the staff were kind, and the store had cold, local beer and wine. Boho bathroom and laundry decor were cute. Playground in tree shade was helpful, as was the tall dog fence at Kamp K9. Watching nighthawks and goldfinches overhead, while floating in the pool, will be a peasant memory.

Great shady spots, clean, well maintained, friendly staff, loved the free waffles - very fun, great perk. We tow a 45’ fifth wheel & had no trouble getting in or out. Great KOA!

Pool was great at the end of hot days. Please don’t add chemicals when people are swimming in the pool. Breakfast and ice cream socials were fantastic!

They all worked very hard and the KOA provided a lot of amenities we usually don’t see like ice cream socials and free waffles in the morning.

The campground is in need of some tlc. The people there are very nice and friendly, but the place needs some work done to it.

Very kind gentleman opened cabin for me and turned on heat. Cabin was clean and well lit. Very nice experience, even if loop road was closed

I stayed in a cabin Mid June and it was exactly what I needed. I wasn't expecting to see the Tetons from the cabin but I was pleasantly surprised when I could. Highly recommend this KOA. Staff was exceptional. Cafe food was also great.

This is one of our favorite places to stay on our Montana summer trips. Our site was level and everything worked. The staff is friendly and Jasmine is awesome. Our latest stay was perfect
