Campground Cancellation Guideline

Campground Specific Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY

RV & TENT SITES (REGULAR) Notify your KOA by phone by 4 p.m. more than 7 days before your scheduled arrival to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations within the 7 days of the reservation will forfeit one night. 

CAMPING CABINS (REGULAR): 14 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA by phone more than one week before your scheduled arrival to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations 14 days or less from arrival will forfeit the one night deposit. Cancellation rules change in October/November during hunting season and are listed below. 

RV/TENT SITES (HUNTING SEASON): 14 day notice is required. Please call us by 4 p.m., more than 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival to receive your deposit minus a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations 14 days or less from arrival will result forfeit the 3 night deposit.

CAMPING CABINS (HUNTING SEASON OCTOBER/NOVEMBER) 30 days notice is required. Please notify us by phone more than 30 days prior to your arrival to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations 30 days or less from arrival will forfeit the the 4  night minimum deposit. All cabins have a minimum stay requirement during hunting season. 

Your long-term stay is confirmed and we look forward to seeing you. Your first month's rent is due when checking in and there is no refund for early departures. If you have any questions or concerns prior to your arrival, please call the office at 970-824-5105. There is a non-refundable $150 deposit to secure your spot. 

RESERVATION MADE AFTER THESE DEADLINES require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.

National Cancellation Guideline

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Deadlines:

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.

Cancellation Details:

  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  • Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  • No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  • The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  • Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
