The staff were very accommodating when we decided to stay a couple of extra days. Nice little campground. Facilities are a bit dated but clean and well kept.

I arrived after the office had closed. Easily found my welcome package on the bulletin board. Campsite was clean, easy to find, and to setup. Bathroom was very clean as well.

The only thing holding me back from a 5-star review is the lack of updated facilities. This KOA Journey is exactly what a camper needs. Everything was clean and in good working condition. The only draw back are the outdated facilities. Hopefully the owner(s) can get some updating done and I'm sure the 5-star reviews would come pouring in. Thanks to the great work kampers for a great day!

Space was nice, in that the sites were spaced apart really well. Some time during my second night, I was invaded by sugar ants! Told the managers and they came and sprayed right away. Didn't alleviate the problem, so, I told them I had to go. They offered, without prompting, a full refund. Very gracious and unexpected. Discovered/realized after leaving that the ants were coming from the sewer!

The gnats were horrible but other then that we had a good stay. We were in a tent trailer and my husband forgot the crank to open it at home. After we got it open with hand tools ( an hr later) the trip was good. The office & maintenance staff were very nice and helpful when trying to help us locate a local solution to our problem. We found something that would work to close it! Thank you!!!!!

No power in the pole at my assigned spot and we arrived after dark. Thank goodness I have an extension cord and was able to get power from the next spot.

Staff excellent and very understanding. However, the campground facilities Fair. Leaky faucets outside campsites, and leaky toilets in bathhouse. Pool was nice. Office closed at 6 pm so no tv, pool or recreation room available.

We had a flat tire, I called to say what was going on. We arrived right at 6:00 p.m. When we pulled up, my husband saw 2 employees inside, but they apparently didn’t see our 40’ fifth wheel in their window as they were locking up. We got our info from the outside box on the wall. No interaction with anyone to rate.

Nice campground. Super easy to access - short distance from freeway, but not loud. Pull through sites are level and roomy. New playground, clean pool and pet friendly. Suggestion: more exit signs.

Staff is very professional and friendly. The campground is full of ants and gnats. We were there for an overnight, less then 12 hours, and both the car and camper were inundated with ants. There was a rain storm just prior to our arrival, so they may have been stirred up due to the wet, muddy ground.

We had an overnight stay here the park has a ton of potential. But it doesn't look like the management is taking care of things. There were water leaks from the hookups our site continually ran I tried to shut it off but needs some maintenance. The showers were okay again Plumbing fixtures were all a hodgepodge and did not work properly. I would be interested in purchasing this KOA camp

This was an overnight stay. Didn't unhook from tow vehicle. Host were very nice and helpful. The KOA in Cordele was clean and there was a good amount of space between sites. I would recommend this KOA to my friends for overnight visits.

Nice and quiet but you put us in a spot with no sewer. Might have been nice to ask if we needed to dump. Otherwise ok.

After reviewing your reservation, you had booked on line and you chose electric & water site only. We could have moved you to another site if we had known you wanted sewer also.

We used this facility as a stop on our way home from a three week camping trip in NC mountain. It was obvious the campground has been in a financial distress. The pool was locked and not accessable. The entertainment center was locked and looked inoperable. The cable reception was poor and fuzzy. Any services outside the park were shutdown and disarray. Will not stop in again.

was an unplanned stop due to tire trouble on our camper. we were so grateful it happened where it did. we were able to check in and sleep well that night. the owners were great the next morning and we had 4 new tires installed that morning. hope to stay here again minus tire troubles!

The campground was nice. Liked the pull through site. However the bugs were so bad we could not step outside without getting attacked. Something needs to be done about this. Glad we only booked one night.

Ok place to stay. New mgrs five weeks ago seem to be working very hard to get it back up to par. Nice but I can’t stand when I have to stand in water in the shower! Other than that it was decent.

We will stay again at this KOA location, when we travel I-75. We like staying in a shaded pecan grove. However I need to point out that many limbs from the pecan tress in the park are very low. Our travel trailer is 11.5' tall. Numerous branches are hanging low and could damage our trailer when we exited. So I had to back out of our site to depart.

The ataff at the campground was very attentive. The campground was clean and well kept. Its close proximity to the interstate was great.

My grandkids and I have been here several times for last 21/2 years. My grandkids love it! It's 30-40 minutes from many festivals, the Perry Fairgrounds, Veterans State Park, and the Agrirama Park in Tifton. It's small, well maintained, and Bob & the staff are always helpful & friendly. Pool is open May thru September. As to gnats & mosquitoes, this is Central GA, even state parks have problems, I keep spray & candles in the car.
