KOA Journey Campgrounds
KOA Journey campgrounds are the perfect oases after a day on the road. Whether it’s along the way or a quick getaway, they’ve got you covered. Located near the highways and byways of North America with long Pull-thru RV Sites, they deliver convenience to the traveling camper. Pull in, ease back and take a load off.
Directions
From the West: take I-90 to exit 30 to State Rt 28 South for approximately 12 miles to US 20. Stay on State Rt 28, and do not turn off until you get to US 20 (disregard GPS). Turn Left onto US 20 East. Travel about 7 miles and turn Left at KOA sign onto McShane Road. Follow the road to the left and in about 1 mile you will see the campground at 565 Ostrander Road.
From the East: take I-90 to I-88 West. I-88 to Exit 24 to US 20 West. You will see signs directing you to turn right on McShane Road. Follow the road to the left and in about 1 mile you will see the campground entrance at 565 Ostrander Road.
From the South: take I-88 East to Exit 17, Cooperstown. Turn left at the exit and take State Rt 28 North. The road will merge with NY 80 East in town. Continue on NY 80 East to US 20. Make a left on US 20, and follow signs to McShane Road. Turn right on McShane Road. Follow the road to the left and in about 1 mile you will see the campground entrance at 565 Ostrander Road.

Swimming Pool -- Newly renovated in 2017
The pool was completely renovated in 2017, and guests can enjoy it from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2018.
Bounce House
Hours of bouncing fun for children of all ages. Children must be supervised while in the house.
Playground
We have a playground with a merry-go-round, swings for the littlest kiddos, and a brand new slide and swingset for children up to 12 years of age.
Volleyball~Badmitten~Basketball
Our playground has a volleyball net and basket ball hoop as well as a selection of balls to use with them.
Arcade
Pool table, air hockey, foosball and more. We even have Galaga and Ms. PacMan. Great place to hang out on those rainy days.
Saturday Evening Bingo for Care Camps
Be there or be square! Enjoy a fun hour of Bingo on Saturday evenings at 7 PM from Memorial Day to Labor Day. You never know what you might win. All proceeds go to KOA Care Camps, a wonderful organization that sends kids with cancer to summer camp.
Amish Bake Sales
Special baked goods from our Amish neighbors and friends are available to purchase only on Holiday Weekends - Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.
Saturday morning crafts
Join our Activities leader in the Pavilion at 10 AM every Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day to exercise your creativity. Fun for kids of all ages!
