Best directions, especially for Big Rigs:
From the east or west take Interstate 94 use Exit 34 to I-196 North. Then drive 4 miles and take Exit 4. At the bottom on the ramp, turn left (east) and we are just 200 yards on your left hand side.
From the north or south take Interstate 196/US 31 use Exit 4. At bottom of ramp, turn left (east) and you will find us on the left hand side just past the highway.

Are you wanting an experience where you can truly connect with the outdoors? There are three great options enabling paddlers to go down the Paw Paw River. Guests may bring their own equipment or rent it at one of these two options:
OPTION 1: Hagar Township Kayak Park is located directly across the street from the campground is the most convenient option for guests with their own equipment. Put in at the park, and paddle up river coming back to where you started.
OPTION 2: Third Coast Paddling is a great option for anyone including beginners or those looking to enjoy a wider, scenic stretch of the river that goes right through Harbor Shores, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. Guest can paddle up river and then right back to the launch which is located at 601 Graham Avenue, Benton Harbor.
OPTION 3: Coloma/Watervliet Kayak Rental helps guest enjoy a more narrow and challenging stretch of the river with plenty of obstacles to add to the fun. They will pick you up down river in Coloma after you launch from Hays Park in Watervliet.
