New Deluxe Cabins Ready for End of Summer/Fall Season

(July 21, 2021) The final touches are wrapping up on the addition of five new deluxe cabins at the Coloma/St. Joseph KOA Holiday, completing the work that was announced this spring. Mark & Karla Lemoine, who are the owners and managing partners, are excited to make them available for guests during the remainder of this summer, and into the fall camping season.

“In the wake of last year, it is estimated that over 15 million Americans who have never camped before or who haven’t camped in a long time, have actively sought time with their family and friends in the Great Outdoors,” said Mark Lemoine. “

Karla adds. “While the majority of our guests still enjoy tenting or bringing their own RV, these deluxe cabins provide the amenities of a hotel room, all in our outdoor experience.”

This upgrade brings their accommodations up to twenty available sites, adding to their existing offerings that include two deluxe cabins, ten camping cabins and three Luxury Glamping Tents. The five, new deluxe cabins include:

  • One 4-person, studio cabin with queen bed, bunks, partial kitchen, full bath, a spacious deck with outdoor furniture, Weber gas grill, and an enhanced fire pit;
  • Three 6-person cabins with two-bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, two queen beds, full-size sleeper sofa, spacious patio with outdoor furniture, charcoal grill and fire pit with removable grate;
  • One 6-person one-bedroom cabin with a queen bed, a loft with two twin mattresses, a full-size sleeper sofa, full kitchen, full bathroom, lofted-ceiling over the main living area, spacious patio area with outdoor furniture, charcoal grill and a fire pit with removable grate. The ramped decking and wider doors also make this unit handicap-friendly.
