It was a beautiful site and perfect fall weekend. I did not know what to expect with the Halloween Bash- it did not disappoint. I wish there was another bathroom unit at the end of the park because the one that was there was heavily utilized.

We have stayed there many times before and really like the place. The passing trains and horns sounding are a definite minus but they are usually gone quickly and peace once again reigns supremem.

Awesome site and staff!! Great location and super quiet except for an occasional train. Really enjoyed our stay and great location for visiting Duluth and surrounding area.

Excellent customer service, clean and well cared for. They helped us tremendously when we had a difficult site to back in to. Very friendly neighbors as well. Keep up the great job !

Nice camp, close to cycling paths (paved 75 miles). Friendly staff.

Nice place in a secluded , forested area. Friendly staff, clean laundry and shower areas. Close to shopping etc., in Carlton and Cloquet. Only about 12 miles from Duluth. Limited number of full hookups but free pump out service available. Wi-Fi weak to non existent, would stay here again. Stayed in Late September in a RPOD travel trailer.

Not the nicest KOA we have ever stayed at. It was adequate. The firewood we purchased was very poor quality and the dog area was full of poop. The spots were pretty small and not labeled as clearly as they could have been. Nothing was awful, we just generally expect better quality from a KOA and this one was lacking.

Directions off the road were spotty, the entrance and exit are difficult to navigate, our campsite was overgrown with trees limiting our awning, the internet was off several times, the electricity was off two times at night and the staff was not happy to help us restore it and did not provide an emergency contact to solve the problem, and they chose not to participate in the free Saturday night .

Some of the camp sites are very close together. We stayed in site 55, our neighbors to the right were so close their bump out was in our site. And the neighbors to the left were crowded up next to us. You could hear conversations from both the other camp sites.

Quiet campground with trees surrounding the park. Many amenities such as a camp store, picnic table, fire ring, pool (was closed for the season), and a playground for kids. Close to Jay Cooke State Park that has lots of beautiful trails.

Very nice campground. Close to stores for Essentials, Plus small day trips. Clean restrooms. nly drawback for us was...our campsite had both campers facing each other. So, we were unable to have a private campfire. One of the factors of camping is the privacy. Just getting away from life's stresses. For some, socializing in the campground is what they love. For others, it's the private/calmness.

Overall nice campground but could be better. Trees need trimming and fire pits cleaned out between guests. A train ran close by at 5:3 am. Just an fyi. Also sewer cap could be marked with sharpie. We had to change our sewer line after settling in because they are unmarked and not clear which one was ours. The is a good location and with a lit more tlc I would rate it higher. Definitely would stay.

A decent spot for a stop on the way. (It’s a KOA Journey). Nice setting. Pleasant staff. Nicely treed. A little muddy when we were there - but the lengthy rains were obviously not the park’s fault.

The campground could do better with the roads on the property The large holes (small swimming pool size) where full of water from recent rains. Employees were very nice

This KOA is probably one of the best ones I have stayed at. The campground is very well kept, bathrooms clean, easy to get around, and the entire staff was wonderful. We did a 3 month stay at this campground (so we got to know people pretty well lol) and I would highly recommend it for anyone medically traveling (even for the duluth area) The owners were incredibly accommodating and very kind. I would definitely stay here again. Yes, there is a train but it really wasn't a problem, and I work overnight so I had to sleep during the day.

We had a great visit. Staff is great, location was alright, the train horn blasts via the nearby tracks through the nights weren't the best but we got used to them...lol. Location is convenient though to Jay Cook and Duluth so made it convenient.

The cabin was super cute. The mattress was ok to sleep on, thin. There are outlets for phones. Bring your own cookware. The fire pit was easy to cook over. The staff was super helpful and fun. People really get into the Halloween weekend. The modern facilities are clean.
