Sorry this review is so late. Our experience with Cloquet KOA was great starting from making reservations. There was only one spot left close to our RV size but they said they’d make it work and they did and it was a beautiful site. Only downfall was the door was available for the last day we wanted. Our loss.

Escort to site was a nice touch. Campground was clean and the site was level. Bathrooms were clean and the water was hot after letting the faucet run for a few minutes. We were surprised by how close the railroad tracks were to the campground. Lots of noise and rumbling from the train even during the night.

This was by far the prettiest KOA we stayed at on our trip. The owners were very helpful and so friendly.

Typically love KOA because of their dog park. This KOA does have a park. There wasn't any light to see around. The office was suppose to be open to 7pm.. Went at 6:40pm lights were out and door was locked. Knocked on the door and someone eventually came to help.

Camp sight in the woods was just perfect for us. Hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. Showers were the cleanest of any we have been to. Will stay again when in the area, Train noise was bearable and not to frequent. Over-all, an excellent stay.

The employees are very helpful and friendly. The problem is that the entire park is a huge mud pit. No pavement on any of the roads or sites. The roads are also not level so when it rains there are huge lake/puddles everywhere. It was impossible for me to walk my dog without her getting completely muddy and bringing all that mud into into my RV. I expect more for the price of a premium RV park.

Everything so clean and quiet. Very friendly staff Love the sites that feel like we are in the woods. Only complaint is the street lamp directly over site number 38. Way way too bright. Lights up entire site all night.

We stayed there from Sept. 24 through 29, 2023. Out of the four days there (before leaving on the fifth), it rained 3 out of the 4 days. The type of road material you have gets nasty with the wetness. It was close to being defined as muddy. There were small "lakes" around and in the roads and sites. Not sure what more you can do about it. They did get smoothed out though.

Facilities very clean and helpful staff! During a day of constant rain, many parking sites and hook up areas filled with water. Suggest filling areas with rock and gravel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Super clean bathrooms. Outside ring of campsites private (don't have to chat with people camping next to you if you don't want). Cabins look adorable ~ love that they have a campfire ring and picnic table. Can't wait to come next summer to check out the pool.

Did not like how our campsite was right next to a cabin and our front door faced the cabin (at least with campsites you face the back of the campsite next to you). Trains were SUPER loud going by. Staff was friendly and helpful; bathrooms and showers were clean. Would think twice about staying there again.

The staff was very friendly, bathrooms very clean, camp sites well kept. The only thing negative is we were stuck inside for 2 days because of the rain, really wish the WiFi would have worked better, rarely ever got a signal.

Arrived late and got help via phone call in lobby. Friendly and helpful. Nice setting and easy to locate. Be advised, trains run nearby thru the night, so bring ear plugs.

We have stayed at this koa for the past 25 years. We have always been treated very well. The campground is very clean and very well kept up. We plan to stay for many years to come.

Facilities were clean, well maintained and quiet. Gravel RV sites are clean and level. Staff is hard working, helpful, pleasant and professional. Office helped us without hesitation when we needed a document printed from an email. Only complaint is the Wi-Fi being very sporadic, which isn't helpful when trying to get work done remotely. Would be a 5 Star rating, if not for the marginal Wi-Fi.

Very nice campground on the whole. Lots of nice woodsy sites. Our site was under a security light which lit up our tent camper. Luckily, I bring an eye mask. I am one who likes to step out of my camper and see stars at night. Husband definitely lost sleep from the trains which others have commented on. Laundry came in handy. If in the area again would probably camp at Jay Cooke SP though.

The ONLY reason I didn't give a 5 star was because of the wi-fi. Everyother aspect of this place, is A+. The people who run it are so nice, have been all 3 years we have gone there. We definately will return.

This KOA is probably one of the best ones I have stayed at. The campground is very well kept, bathrooms clean, easy to get around, and the entire staff was wonderful. We did a 3 month stay at this campground (so we got to know people pretty well lol) and I would highly recommend it for anyone medically traveling (even for the duluth area) The owners were incredibly accommodating and very kind. I would definitely stay here again. Yes, there is a train but it really wasn't a problem, and I work overnight so I had to sleep during the day.

We had a great visit. Staff is great, location was alright, the train horn blasts via the nearby tracks through the nights weren't the best but we got used to them...lol. Location is convenient though to Jay Cook and Duluth so made it convenient.

The cabin was super cute. The mattress was ok to sleep on, thin. There are outlets for phones. Bring your own cookware. The fire pit was easy to cook over. The staff was super helpful and fun. People really get into the Halloween weekend. The modern facilities are clean.
