Pet-friendly KOA-- I've been coming for years to attend a canine agility event in the area. Staff is friendly and very responsive to requests. My only gripe-- I wish they would spend more time trimming trees-- dead limbs hanging over my camp site and limbs too low for tall RVs.

Very responsive to questions and concerns. Campground is clean and well maintained. Lots to do and see in the local area. Enjoyed our stay.

We haven't gone camping in years and decided to try it again. This KOA was very nice. Clean, quiet, and staff very helpful. Planning on coming back.

We enjoyed the stay, it worked well for us. However, with no sewer, we feel it should be a bit less for a night. The campsite was nice and spacious. Our water hookup had a leak, which we let the office know about, so they can fix it. But we like this campground, it works well when we want to see family in the area!

The bathrooms and grounds were clean. Our sons appreciated how deep the pool was which was also clean. The staff were helpful and good at what they do. We were glad to have chosen this place to come back to after our daytime adventures.

Even though no one has control over the lovely Minnesota weather, it rained most of the weekend. 1st site we were at woke up to 6 inches of standing water then got moved to another site that was better but still 2-3 inches of standing water all weekend. Definitely not ideal with 2 young kids and a dog. I would come back in July/August, Duluth is so unpredictable in May.

Nice campground,but rain made it hard to be outside. There was a pond in front of our rv. Couldn't start a fire at the pit. Also the train made it hard to sleep.

Very nice and accommodating staff. The trains were loud overnight but that's expected at this particular camp site.

Highly disappointed!! Altho the weather wasn’t the owners fault , when we tried to step around the mud and the rain we were scolded for going on their property , which we weren’t doing , just trying to find dry rocks to walk across , we were in a terrible spot , extremely muddy and wet , pool wasn’t open except maybe two hours the whole weekend , and the train was loud and annoying !! This rating is for this stay only normally it’s excellent. This time we were put next to playground kids and balls hitting trailer. Site was totally flooded and wouldn’t dry out fire pit unusable was flooded all around. Site 18 sits on a drainage hole where water just sits.

Small campground but friendly staff. The only negative were all the trains especially at night.

The campground is extremely clean, especially the showers; staff are pleasant and helpful. The only downside is that the camp is located right next to railroad tracks with a signaled road crossing also very close; the train is required to blow its horn very loudly every time it crosses the road (approximately 3-4 times per day and at least once in the middle of the night).

Bill and the staff were so kind getting us squared away when I messed up our reservation! Location is on a dead end road and very quiet, but easily accessible from the highway.

Only issue was the train nearby at night. No control over that though. Campground was really nice, very well maintained, very clean! People were very nice and helpful!

If rain is the forecast request a patio site. Also you will experience train activity with a Loud WHISTLE at all hours of the day and night.

We called to say we would be arriving late. We were told that a map & information about our site would be waiting for us There was no information. There had been a lot rain and most of the sites were flooded - I know they have no control over that, but there weren't many campers this weekend & we could have been switched to a site with a patio. This KOA is a little run down.

This KOA is probably one of the best ones I have stayed at. The campground is very well kept, bathrooms clean, easy to get around, and the entire staff was wonderful. We did a 3 month stay at this campground (so we got to know people pretty well lol) and I would highly recommend it for anyone medically traveling (even for the duluth area) The owners were incredibly accommodating and very kind. I would definitely stay here again. Yes, there is a train but it really wasn't a problem, and I work overnight so I had to sleep during the day.

We had a great visit. Staff is great, location was alright, the train horn blasts via the nearby tracks through the nights weren't the best but we got used to them...lol. Location is convenient though to Jay Cook and Duluth so made it convenient.

The cabin was super cute. The mattress was ok to sleep on, thin. There are outlets for phones. Bring your own cookware. The fire pit was easy to cook over. The staff was super helpful and fun. People really get into the Halloween weekend. The modern facilities are clean.
