Have a Frightfully Fun Halloween at Chincoteague Island KOA

Something otherworldly is going to settle over Chincoteague this October, transforming it into the Little Island of Horrors.

Each weekend from October 4 through October 27 ghouls, goblins and ghosts galore will come out of the woodwork. You might only see hayrides and tick-or-treading, but behind the scenes, the forces of evil will be hard at work.

Do you dare visit the cursed campground that is at the epicenter of this evil? Will you be able to resist the unnatural draw of the haunted trail, where your nightmares are hiding around every corner? The only way to find out is to book a stay at this menagerie of mayhem.

For those brave enough to set up camp in these haunted woods, there are tricks and treats in store.

Every Saturday Night

Little Island of Horrors Haunted Trail- This plagued path is not for the faint of heart. Hair-raising scenes and nightmare fuel are waiting around every corner. Can you survive the fright? Lion-hearted kids can walk the haunted trail earlier in the evening before the monsters really get warmed up with their terror.

October 4-6: A Haunting We Will Go

Halloween Riddle Race- For this timed event we'll hide riddles around the campground, and you'll have to find and solve them. The team who delivers to most correct answers in the fastest time wins.

Hayrides- Hop on board for a totally cozy, not at all spooky ride around the campground

Wine Walk- This is just like a cakewalk, but only better because it involves vino.
