We had never stayed at a KOA prior to staying at the NW KOA. Talking with friends and family that had stayed at KOA’s before, we were very excited to try it out. Needless to say we were pretty disappointed. The park for kids was nice, definitely could upgrade the jump pad. Staff was mostly friendly. We loved it. So many activities planned. Our grands loved the trick or treat and wagon ride. We would definitely stay again!!

This Campground is convenient for me to stay at when I come to Chicago area to visit friends and family. This is my second time staying here and would recommend to everyone.

The saty was wonderful. The kids had a GREAT time on the bouncy pillow, in the sand, on the playground and with all the GREAT activities that they could do!

It was great fun. Easy in. Lots of fall activities on the weekend. Lots of quiet, campfire fall nights during the week. Great staff! We'll be back.

Campground is very clean - friendly staff - lots of activities for kids! Was a great weekend! Only complaint is we were camping with another couple and did the fire at their site, we purchased 12 bundles of wood and asked for our site to be charged but delivered to their site and they were charged instead.

It was ok just weird that there was no contact with the office. Usually we are greeted when we check in. and it feels more welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay. Great events. However one staff member was extremely rude to my family during the Tye Dye portion which was highly unexceptionable and disappointing. We have come to your location many times and plan to return next season with the hope to be treated better during the designated events.

We had a great stay. Nice level site. Trick or Treaters had a good time. I feel like thick bushes or trees would help cut down on the noise from the road.

Nice end site with patio swing. Gravel. Minor leveling needed. Many activities. Great for kids. We had a trick or treat night, with site decorating contest, apple cider & doughnuts and hayrides. Lots of fun. Good way to meet people. Park was well maintained. Bath and shower house were clean and neat. Our stay was very pleasant.

Very nice campground. We enjoyed the tent camping area. Staff was quick to respond to a problem at my site. I was moved and the problem was addressed immediately. Very nice job. The staff is professional, informative and friendly. Good lodging options: rv, tent and cabins. Convenient, clean facilities. I look forward to future visits.

It was so sweet to be there the first weekend in October with kids and tots in costumes and lots of activities for all ages. It's a quiet, rural campground. The grounds are grassy with rolling hills &plenty of space between RVs. Nice staff! We were able to catch the train into Chicago for river Architectural cruise & drive into Frank Lloyd Wrights Oak Park neighborhood home, studio, the next.

Sylvia & her staff are the BEST! These grounds are SO nice and clean! This will be our 4th season in a row enjoying summer weekends. Thank you ALL for another AMAZING season! Looking forward to the 2023 season!

Campground associates, as always, so pleasant and friendly. Campground is well maintained. Would rate higher if could get full hookup for monthly spot.

We had a really enjoyable stay, as we always do. Mother Nature didn't cooperate on the last day (no reflection on NW KOA, of course) But the rest of the visit more than made up for it.

The place was quiet and clean. Very friendly staff. Loved the texts we were getting about the Halloween festivities. Although we were unable to participate, it was fun getting them.

The owners and staff did a fabulous job planning an awesome weekend for the kids. We went for fall fest, the kids had nonstop fun. Only complaint is bathrooms need something to stand on outside of the showers, can get a little slippery. Looking forward to making this a yearly adventure. Great job!

I brought my three grandchildren (ages 2 1/2, 6 and 7 years old) here for their first campout. What a positive experience for them, and they each had a wonderful time. All of the many, fall fest activities kept them interested and engaged. They are already asking when we can come back for another weekend campout. The grounds were beautifully kept, and the staff were welcoming.

Check in process was amazingly quick and we were escort our site. Ordered our wood from our site escort and it was delivered to our site before we had even unpacked our vehicles. Lots of activities for the kids. All staff members were extremely kind and friendly. Clean restrooms / facilities. We were able to bill activities directly to site. GREAT JOB CHICAGO NORTHWEST KOA!!!

Nice setting for the KOA. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and well kept. The only drawback was the size of the showers. A little small. Otherwise an excellent place to stay.

A one night unexpected stay when a non-KOA reservation turned out not to be what we thought it might be. Peaceful place close to the city! Pleasant staff and clean facilities a must!

Camp site was very clean & a nice size. We didn't feel like we were too close to our neighbors. Nice back in sites with full hookups. Lots of grass at the sites so the kids can play and the adults can relax, it felt very spacious. We enjoyed the walking trail with our dog and just exploring the area. We were there on Sunday so we didn't get to enjoy the bakery. Beautiful location, friendly staff

Noisy due to Halloween Weekend. Too many text updates about things I don't care about. We hoped to have 1 quiet day/night on Sunday after everyone with kids left but new people were moved in on both sides of us. Poor water pressure. Great kid escorted us to our site. Clean grounds. Unlevel site required blocking tires. Should offer trash pickup at site.

Very pleasant stay. Lots of activities for the kids, even some for the adults! We stayed here because it was central to several other activities we were involved with over the weekend. Easy in and out. Campground is clean and well kept. The campers around us were friendly and "good neighbors". One negative: there's no hose hookup at the dump site so no way to use the black water tank cleanout.

Wonderful, lovely spot, And very friendly and helpful staff. This location has gone to great lengths to make it enjoyable for everyone! I highly recommend this spot. And, we are traveling in a 45 foot boss and towing a 28 foot trailer and they were easily able to accommodate us. Quite nice!

This KOA has two separate buildings for restrooms and showers when we went to The first building on Sunday September 19 it was filthy and had not been cleaned that day because the sheet on the back of the front door showed the last cleaning was Saturday September 18 so we left and tried the second Building and it was the same as the first building filthy As no one had Cleaned it that day

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.

We went the last week of September and was a blast for the kids since they has a lot of activities related with Halloween. Kids had a lot of fun. We had an excellent spot for our trailer. Bathroom are clean.

Great location, convenient to the highway. Super cute park with a ton of amenities & maintained very well. Reason for the 4 stars would have to be the water at the site. Came through dingy yellow/brown. My best guess is rusty pipes?
