Great place to stay while driving through Chicago to points West. They have nice sized sites, with lots of mature trees, and the pool is a great way to cool down after a long day of driving. This is our second time there, and we will stay there again if ever traveling through the area.

Extremely hospitable staff. Our only need that couldn't be fulfilled was a propane tank exchange, but understand reasons why and they were able to recommend a place that was on our way.

We really enjoyed our stay. There is a lot to do. The pool was clean and very nice. The mini golf was well maintained and FREE!! The playground and jump pad were very nice. Our site was spacious, level and clean. We will definitely be back!

A short stay in order to meet some relatives at Ohare airport. Courteous and helpful staff; enjoyed being guided to our site. Site quite adequate for our 45' motorhome and tow vehicle; a pull through to boot! Family friendly place with lots for all to do. Firepit and picnic table at our site.

We had a wonderful stay! The park was clean and very well-kept. All of the activities planned for campers were so fun and our kids loved them. The staff was friendly and accommodating and helpful. We can’t wait to come back!

Very few sites with sewer but the WiFi is terrible. Most coaches are going to Wifi tv’s. Kept dropping. However the staff was awesome. Super nice people and very helpful.

Great location far enough to be in forest, but close to towns around. Will stay again when coming in to Chicago.

The staff are not friendly. They seem over worked and not happy to be there. There is no personal interaction, everything is done by text or email. Even check in Store was never open during our stay. Spots are tight and people are parked all over. We had to back out of a pull through spot. Owners need to check on the place and be aware what is going on with staff.

Very nice campground lots of shade, the only thing is the bathroom (men’s) didn’t have any hand soap and needed cleaning, other than that it was nice.

Very clean campground. Pet enclosures are at many sites. There is a K9 area hidden among the trees. Not all sites have full hookups. They seemed to be randomly placed around the campground. Also there is no cable, so if you are lucky you might get 4 channels . The location of the campground worked for us because we were visiting friends in Cary and Byron Illinois.

Site is very beautifull but we were on a very slanted lot anfmd therefore unable to level the coach. So we were unable to open slides..would you consider a credit for our stay? Thanks

Everything about our stay was great except that our site was very sloped which emptying tanks and leveling out very difficult. But we do love this park.

Stayed there for our annual trip to the union train museum. Always love camping at your place. Quiet,convenient and clean. Thanks for always taking care of us.

Two of our grandchildren with their parents spent the weekend at the Chicago Northwest KOA. Loved the Saturday activities (kickball, scavenger hunt and more) that all family members could enjoy. Of course, the swimming pool and miniature golf were big hits. The facilities were clean, grounds were well-kept and staff was friendly and always helpful. This was our first visit but won't be our last.

Narrow entrance, office was not staffed and faces away from entrance. The sites are ok, the water quality was hard, some staining. The sites are not level, be prepared with leveling blocks, some sites grass some gravel. The prairie view sites look at a storage area. Dog park is very small. Chicago is about 2h away. Warning: Not all 50a sites have 50a some have dual 30a. Better for passing though.

We had a great time winding down from our normal routine. Everyone we met was very nice. The young lady that escorted us to the site in the golf cart was such a nice girl. I forgot her name but she said it was her 1st day! The entire campground was very clean and we just loved it.

The sites are too close to each other. There isn’t much activity for kids as other KOA’s Wi-Fi signal was strong but internet extremely slow. Advertising theater �� but it’s being used to parking spots.

It was a very nice campground with many good family acrivities. The staff was extreamily nice and helpful the entire stay. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the campground really needs another driveway exit to the road. Twice I got stopped either entering or leaving camp because 2 vehicles can't fit down the entrance road at once . The wild west town next door would be a neat addition

As always, our stay at Chicago Northwest KOA was enjoyable and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The expedited check-in process was smooth and got us to our site quickly. Many fun activities were planned by the KOA staff for this weekend leading into the 4th of July even though the weather did not fully cooperate. Our go to place to stay when we are in the Chicago area.

Certainly not the nicest KOA we’ve been to. The sites are tight, and the amenities are lacking a bit. But the owner is very nice, and the location works well for us, so we keep coming back.

We chose this KOA due to its proximity to the IL Railway Museum. It was satisfactory for a Holiday but lacked amenities like kiddie pool, concrete pads, paved streets of a Journey. Staff was extremely pleasant. Overall it was OK but not outstanding like the other KOAs we have stayed at

The amount of traffic is insane! If cars aren't driving by your site, staff in a golf cart is every 2 minutes.If you are looking for a nice relaxing place this is not it! It's very noisy, no nature trails, or ponds and you are right on top of the site next to you. At one point there was a construction vehicle going back and forth with beeping for at least an hour to add to the chaos. Pool was cold

We decided to stay at the Chicago KOA so that we could visit our friends in Chicago along our way. The campground is well, set up and well-maintained, and they have a great system for entering and exiting. Even with a shortage of staff, there was absolutely no problem with anything. We felt very safe and secure and enjoyed our stay.

easy booking, friendly check-in, clean restrooms, sites a little close together, wondered if instead of having 3 parking places "down the road" if you'd separate the sites 64, 65, 66 with a parking spot in between each site-just a thought. Very much appreciated the handicap satellite restroom. Close to highway and visited Illinois Railroad Museum & Sycamore Race Track since they were so close.

Park is beautiful. We could tell much work and pride went into maintaining the Park. Very family oriented, which is great! Felt it was a bit pricey though.

What a wonderful place to stay. The place was clean, well laid out, and had many activities for kids. To top it off, the two visit. on site were so professional and down to earth. They made you feel like a friend stopping by for a visit.

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.

We went the last week of September and was a blast for the kids since they has a lot of activities related with Halloween. Kids had a lot of fun. We had an excellent spot for our trailer. Bathroom are clean.

Great location, convenient to the highway. Super cute park with a ton of amenities & maintained very well. Reason for the 4 stars would have to be the water at the site. Came through dingy yellow/brown. My best guess is rusty pipes?
