Nice location. Friendly staff. Clean. Well kept. Amenities are top notch. Pool is great. Laid out well. Plenty of space. KOA' are slightly more than state parks but well worth it.

The campground was so nice and clean. Everyone was nice! And the firewood and ice delivery was AMAZING! We got lucky to even get the spot we had. Thankyou so much!

This was a last minute decision to go camping over the holiday weekend. I reserved the last possible spot which turned out great for my RV. I enjoyed the staff who were so helpful and welcoming. The park is clean and quiet even though every site was filled. I plan to return for more camping for sure! Thank you for an awesome stay!

A little hard to level our C Class in the spot, but great KOA. Very helpful with everything we needed. Nice trees, clean, etc. It's a bit rural, but a nice option if you want to be out of the way, drive in to see Chicago and other areas but not STAY IN the Chicago area. We loved it.

Nice sized lots on grass. Able to sit, have a nice fire and watch the stars! Nice and quiet area which is close enough to amenities. On my cross Canada and US trip, I stayed at another KOA, which was equally as nice. What was even better, I was allowed to checkout an hour later, since no one was scheduled to have the spot I was on! Very nice people and neighbours�

Didnt get a choice of sewer hook up which I wanted. When I arrived after check in I noticed many vacant sewer sites..Internet was no existing Employees were nice ....

We only stayed 1 rather than nights; We had a serious problem with our RV and had to return home rather than continue on our long trip. The location was excellent, easy to reach. The site was fine. We didn't do a thing there except stay the night, wait out the rain, and go home. But it was a good secure site. Once our problem is fixed, we will head out again and be back to begin again!

The only negative - you call yourself "Chicago KOA" but you are over an hour outside Chicago. It would be nice if you could provide different ways to get into the city. Where the train stations, what stops bring you to what part of the city (ex: what stop, and where transfer trains for "The Bean". It was just my husband and I and we drove into the city three days. Used a lot of gas. Options??!!

Very congested (even for a KOA), and the dog park was abysmal, as it was mostly dirt and weeds. As you know, many people travel with their pups who they treat as a member of the family. My family member deserves much better.

The only negative....it is over an hour away from Chicago. I knew that coming in - but I do like KOA's. Everyone is friendly and there are plenty of things for the kids.....mini-golf, pool, etc. They take you to your site, will deliver fire-wood to your site and on a hot day they come around with ice-cream for you to purchase. I started as part of a tour group, and stayed several extra days.

The site was in a very nice location. Quite far from the City, but certainly ok for a long day trip there. The campground was clean, and the staff was well organized. It was a busy campground, and it was very well taken care of. We would definitely stay there again.

Quickly becoming one of our favorite campgrounds. We enjoy the beautiful sites, the friendly employees, and really come home relaxed, a big plus is the well stocked store, clean bathrooms, and activities for the kids, family friendly, close to home

Great location! Quiet area in the farmland outside Chicago. Within 30 minutes of the rail lines to the city. Very friendly staff and great communication. We liked it so much we booked for next year! Lots of family activities as well.

A few problems with the bathroom toilets, but someone took care of it right away. Great time! Sylvia and Rebecca were so nice!

Grass needs to be cut. Hedges overgrown threw fence. Worpt picnic tables. Needs weed whacking. Sites where camp workers stay looked like homeless camps.

As always, our stay was great! Staff is wonderful and friendly (helpful too). Laundry is ready to go, pool is sparkling clean and we had a great time!

We stayed at this KOA twice on the way out west and on the way back home both times we stayed it was late when we got there so we didn’t get to enjoy any of the amenities but the bathrooms are super nice and brand new. Showers are different being in a closet type thing but water pressure was great. I would definitely stay here again!!

I had a place to sleep as I was visiting relatives. Nothing really jumps out to me other than the place is old and there’s not been much updated. Seems like they could throw some money into things that would improve this. The dump station hose? Dude driving around with the tractor and see through tank emptying tanks was gross. And he charged $30 a pop. Grass was overgrown.

Friendly and helpful reception. Nice and level sites. Other campers very friendly. Many amenities for pets and children. I was only there overnight but it was a perfect place to stay if you are just traveling through before tackling the roads around Chicago. This was the second time I have stayed there.

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.

We went the last week of September and was a blast for the kids since they has a lot of activities related with Halloween. Kids had a lot of fun. We had an excellent spot for our trailer. Bathroom are clean.

Great location, convenient to the highway. Super cute park with a ton of amenities & maintained very well. Reason for the 4 stars would have to be the water at the site. Came through dingy yellow/brown. My best guess is rusty pipes?
