It's a clean, quiet campground but not much to do in the area. The closest fishing/boating we could find was about 30 miles away in Rockford. We spent most of our time there. When we checked in to our RV, we were cautioned about our water usage. We were told that if we filled the tanks, they would have to take the RV to be drained. So, we never used the shower. Stay was meh.

The sites are too close to each other. There isn’t much activity for kids as other KOA’s Wi-Fi signal was strong but internet extremely slow. Advertising theater �� but it’s being used to parking spots.

Overally priced for not that much amenities at all. The bathrooms weren't all that clean. The camp areas fire pit didn't have a grill so I couldn't cook my food even if I tried.

Stay was okay, didn't feel like a holiday KOA becuase of not lot activites, pool was small, grounds around cabin were small, minor trash around cabin, fire pit to close to road to sit and cook, not much space around cabin, air condition stopped working, not much in store, did not like had to haul or trash to dumpster, had to ask a couple times for bathroom to restocked.

Stayed at a cabin 4th of July weekend. Cabin was well appointed and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. I only wish the area had better trails for hiking and or biking.

We had such a wonderful time. It was our first time at a KOA and loved all the amenities that made camping with children way more relaxing! We can’t wait to camp at a KOA again!

It was a very nice campground with many good family acrivities. The staff was extreamily nice and helpful the entire stay. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the campground really needs another driveway exit to the road. Twice I got stopped either entering or leaving camp because 2 vehicles can't fit down the entrance road at once . The wild west town next door would be a neat addition

As always, our stay at Chicago Northwest KOA was enjoyable and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The expedited check-in process was smooth and got us to our site quickly. Many fun activities were planned by the KOA staff for this weekend leading into the 4th of July even though the weather did not fully cooperate. Our go to place to stay when we are in the Chicago area.

Certainly not the nicest KOA we’ve been to. The sites are tight, and the amenities are lacking a bit. But the owner is very nice, and the location works well for us, so we keep coming back.

We chose this KOA due to its proximity to the IL Railway Museum. It was satisfactory for a Holiday but lacked amenities like kiddie pool, concrete pads, paved streets of a Journey. Staff was extremely pleasant. Overall it was OK but not outstanding like the other KOAs we have stayed at

Although it rained throughout most of the weekend, the KOA was a lot of fun! My grandson had a blast! So happy that they had the flashlight candy hunt in the rain. My grandson would’ve been disappointed if it was canceled. We will be back.

So nice since it has been fixed up, new bathrooms, separate showers, nice little shop, friendly staff, great place for kids to play, love the new playground, jump pad, Gaga ball, love the mini golf. Our cabin was nice just wish there was an outside plug for cooking, and the mattresses were a big hard for my husband. Close to lots of kids places to visit. We loved our stay and would love to stay

The amount of traffic is insane! If cars aren't driving by your site, staff in a golf cart is every 2 minutes.If you are looking for a nice relaxing place this is not it! It's very noisy, no nature trails, or ponds and you are right on top of the site next to you. At one point there was a construction vehicle going back and forth with beeping for at least an hour to add to the chaos. Pool was cold

Staff was great & easy to order firewood with quick delivery. Bathrooms were always clean and our sites (30 & 31) were spacious with 4 larger tents and a large screen tent.

This is the nicest koa we have stayed at! This is on our top three list of the best koa campgrounds we have stayed at!

We stayed in the new rental trailer. It was on a lovely site that offered great shade and was near the swimming pool and bathhouse. The campground was quite full when we were there but was quiet, especially at night. The staff was very timely in responding to texts regarding questions or requests. The campground was clean and well maintained.

We decided to stay at the Chicago KOA so that we could visit our friends in Chicago along our way. The campground is well, set up and well-maintained, and they have a great system for entering and exiting. Even with a shortage of staff, there was absolutely no problem with anything. We felt very safe and secure and enjoyed our stay.

easy booking, friendly check-in, clean restrooms, sites a little close together, wondered if instead of having 3 parking places "down the road" if you'd separate the sites 64, 65, 66 with a parking spot in between each site-just a thought. Very much appreciated the handicap satellite restroom. Close to highway and visited Illinois Railroad Museum & Sycamore Race Track since they were so close.

Park is beautiful. We could tell much work and pride went into maintaining the Park. Very family oriented, which is great! Felt it was a bit pricey though.

What a wonderful place to stay. The place was clean, well laid out, and had many activities for kids. To top it off, the two visit. on site were so professional and down to earth. They made you feel like a friend stopping by for a visit.

HAD A GREAT STAY! EVERYONE WAS FRIENDLY AND ANYTHING WE ORDERED CAME TO OUR CAMPSITE QUICKLY. THE CAMPGROUNDS WAS NEAT AND CLEAN.

The overall campground is very well maintained with nice areas for walking and kudos to the upgrades. Check-in was smooth and our pull thru site was nicely done with a fire pit, brick pad with a table, and swing toward the back of the property which offered some privacy. The pool looked well-maintained and the kid's area looked like a lot of fun if you're traveling with kids! Would stay again.

Very clean campground. Great service and staff! Unfortunately we did not stay for our second night paid. Due to campers partying until 3am across from our site, along with barking dogs, we hardly slept. When the all night party people had friends join next morning at site behind us, that confirmed we were not going to sleep again second night, so packed up and left even though we paid for 2 nights

Cleanest campground I've been to in a long time. Owners are great host, bathrooms are clean, play area was clean, pool was clean and the place was family and pet friendly. Definitely would come back.

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.

We went the last week of September and was a blast for the kids since they has a lot of activities related with Halloween. Kids had a lot of fun. We had an excellent spot for our trailer. Bathroom are clean.

Great location, convenient to the highway. Super cute park with a ton of amenities & maintained very well. Reason for the 4 stars would have to be the water at the site. Came through dingy yellow/brown. My best guess is rusty pipes?
