The only thing that made us a little nervous was the one lane for entering and exiting. Thank goodness it did not create an issue when we were hooked up to our fifth wheel. We did encounter it when returning from dinner…both vehicles had to go off to the grass a little bit.

Bathroom and showers filthy and needing many repairs. 2 of 4 showers closed time I was there. 3 sites away 2 dogs on leashes, one barked and growled at every one walking by. Gravel used on roads and sites were mucky and stuck to shoes.

Premium tent sites are great! Large lot with a good amount of space. Was nice that the playground, bounce pad and activities were all across the way so our kids could run and play while we set up, packed up or even cooked meals and still keep an eye on them. Plenty of activities for kids/families! Front office was super responsive and quick to deliver wood/ice.

We used this KOA as a overnite stop. It was a nice site, clean & staff helpful.

Staff very friendly and accommodating . Ground are neat and attractive. We always look forward to coming! Also many activities offered. Love camp store.

Friendly, helpful staff, love the pup sites! Made us miss our fur baby, but she stayed home this trip. This was our 2nd stay while passing through for west destination and will stop again. Love their Duck fund raising!!

The campground was nice, the bathrooms were clean and the staff was great! My only complaint is that the wood that we ordered was wet and would not burn easily.

We have been coming to this KOA for 12 years. The staff are always so nice and very attentive. Grounds and bathrooms are well kept. Never had a bad stay here.

Great KOA. We stay at a lot of KOA's across the country. The staff was the embodiment of hospitality. Just wonderful. Campground was clean & well kept. Great location to enjoy the city without being in the city. We will be back!

We really enjoy this campground as it is close to our home with full hook ups. Perfect for a short weekend getaway for us. Staff is friendly with prompt courteous service.

Nice and clean help full staff Lots activity’s wasn’t a holiday still they had bingo corn sale sale , Scavenger hunt Bathroom issues but they took care of it plus they have more available. Thank you Silvia

Spaces are a little close together, driveway in/out is one lane, we experienced few delays while waiting for vehicles to clear, or check in etc. We also had our teen daughter and her friend with her, they were asked to not participate in some of the weekend activities because of their age. They just turned 16, I would like to suggest age restrictions on the activities page to avoid disappointment

We recently bought our first RV and Chicago Northwest KOA was our first campground stay. Sylvia was so helpful even before our arrival with our email exchange. The campground itself was super clean with plentiful amenities. All staff there were friendly. We will definitely be back :-)

Very nice place and would have given it 5 stars except for two issues: 1) the bathrooms were such a long walk from our campsite that my wife ended up driving to them. 2) their wifi wasn’t good enough for streaming. Big disappointment.

Staff was professional and kind. I rented the RV on spot 51. It was ok but the shower wasn’t cleaned. Hard water is understandable but there isn’t a reason to look like it’s never cleaned. Mat was in shower and didn’t like it was removed to be cleaned. Paid extra & still had to walk and use the facilities. Bathroom was very clean in the office building though.

This park is quite, outside the city and easy to get to. If want to be outside the city but still want to be able to get there this park is for you. We drove to Ohair got on the L and were at Wrigley Field in a little over an hour. It was perfect for us.

Dirty, run down, rude, flies. We payed extra for an area for our dogs. It was muddy, crowded with swing and fire pit, so we couldn’t use that area. It was also not clearly marked for our site, so we had other people and dogs in it often. On the day we were leaving, they decided to fix the water leak (known issue) muddying up our campsite, they refused to wait, forcing us to leave early. Avoid

Amazing stay!! We checked in late yet a staff member still met us at the gate and escorted us to our spot. Even though we we were close to the city it felt like a rural community. Our cabin was clean and comfortable and our dogs loved the small attached yard. The KOA was well maintained (awesome landscaping and clean showers) we will stay again! 5 stars!

Store was only open on Saturday. Did not give advance notice as to what dogs were not allowed. Bathrooms were rusty and had soggy floors. Sites were small. Paid for a site with a dog pen. To small for my dog.

Nice, but crowded KOA. Lots of activities. Clean bathrooms, however, could use a little updating. Nice folks who run the place. Camping cabin was clean and comfortable. Quiet place.

The only thing we didn’t like was that a guy that probably lives there came to us to tell us to keep it quiet and it wasn’t even 10:00PM. We were going to complain to you guys but it’s your job to speak to him. He has a little trailer parked nex to the sites we were.

Park was clean, staff were very friendly. However they have rules about which dog breeds you can camp with. They did let us stay, but we were cationed that if someone complained that our dog was a restricted breed, then we would have to leave. This ment we could not walk our dogs around the park (which is what we do most with our friendly big dogs).

During our stay we had 3 sites , 2 of them for 3 nights. The first night was fine, the 2 second night we lost electricity due to an underground problem they could not figure out. We were offered another site but by the time we load up to move, we may as just load up and go home just for 1 more night stay. So 1 night we had no electricity. Disappointed we didn’t get more of a refund than 1 night.

A busy family orientated campground; arrived late and only stayed one night so did not get to use their extra fun activities. You are far from Chicago and that was OK with us. We were not in the area for Chicago just passing thru. The site was on a bit of a hill and narrow. That was only negative about our whole stay but we did not take the time to really level our trailer. We will return again.

I love that you are located away from the city but still close enough to local grocery store and restaurants. Owners are so nice. We always have something fun to do while we are there.

We went the last week of September and was a blast for the kids since they has a lot of activities related with Halloween. Kids had a lot of fun. We had an excellent spot for our trailer. Bathroom are clean.

Great location, convenient to the highway. Super cute park with a ton of amenities & maintained very well. Reason for the 4 stars would have to be the water at the site. Came through dingy yellow/brown. My best guess is rusty pipes?
