Small site. My rig is 46 feet. I placed cones on the road to keep my RV from getting hit, with the back of the RV 3 inches off the fence. Beach not maintained. The beach, landscape, shallow water with sandbars are wonderful. But the beach needs combed daily. Restrooms need more cleaning. Pool was nice, perfect for small kids. Staff friendly and helpful.

When items are cancelled or something is out of order the resort should make a better effort to keep camper’s informed either by email, text, or some type of bulletin board and posting. Not everyone visits the camp office/store daily for updates. Also maybe some stop signs at the end of each row since golf carts really pull out of nowhere too often.

Was very disappointed this year. Pool was very dirty and cloudy. Advised front office and was told everything was okay. Pool needed chemical and filter ran. Then two days later sign at pool indicated was opening late because chemicals were out of balance. By end of stay pool was crystal clear. Also cabanas we’re not up. Was a disappointment. Only answer given was short staffed .

To pay almost $200 for 1 night and to be put on the site directly on the side (in front of ice maker) which had a huge swamp area from the leaking ice maker was too cool. We walked the grounds several times and there were tons of open sites available. However only 3 offered online. The beach smelled like sewer too. For cost, it certainly wasn't worth it

A lot has changed over the years at the Chesapeake Bay KOA. They now charge $10 a day for personal golf carts. Only one of the pools was in service. There was absolutely no Ice in the main store. The pizza is burnt that they sell. No one ever answers the phone. The grass on our site was a foot tall. Its sad to see this place go down hill because our kids love the activities.

Stay was great and customer service top notch. Would have given 5 stars had we not been given a site we almost couldn’t park in due to size, being quite unlevel, and a pole that limited options. Only reason the site worked was because a manager helped us get creative and the site behind us was closed due to a water leak. Ran into others during our stay given too small sites for rigs.

I loved the RV camp site 232 since it was close to the two cabins I also rented. My only complaint was the intermittent sewage smell the came and went.

Could be a great KOA. Men’s room not kept clean. The dogs were out of control. Pool filter not running on 7/4 - ew. 7/5 waking up to a crane parked less then 5 feet from our rv for tree work dropped the rating. Oh, the canceled fireworks rescheduled after our departure was a disappointment. Keep working on your infrastructure-could be a great place. Limit dogs. 7 mastifs on a site is excessive.

Shouldn't be advertised as a tent site nor camping. Very high scale place where everyone has trailers and kids drive electric scooters or golf carts. No trees for shade, pool couldn't be more dirtier as well as the beach

Staff was awesome, campground is clean with lots to do. They did a great job updateing the patio sittes to new concrete and the did away with the old wooden ones. We enjoy how the sites are set up and staggered, even though you are close to your neighbors you dont feel like you are on top of each other. Only negative is to many speeding noisy golf carts. See you next year!!!

The pool was disgusting, we were extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the swimming pool. The water was not circulating at all one day so there was no filtration going on until someone showed up finally about 1pm. One guest pulled out a handful of hair from out of the pool that same day. Other than that, the stay was good.

Your staff has always been your biggest asset from the beginning there… but some things need to be done as far as up keep for the pools and having ice on site .. over all though a good experience!

The sites are close together and are set at a weird angle, the men’s room was disgusting and not cleaned on Saturday or Sunday. We will not be back. It was convenient to the beach

Second time here, the bathrooms across the resort were super dirty and not getting routine cleaning. Also plumbing was out so no outdoor showers working to wash off sand. In addition jet skis consumed the beach and were coming in and out of shore with small children everywhere. Should be required to be at one end of beach for safety reasons with so many kids that the jet skis were weaving through.

Had another great stay with friends and will definitely be back again. A few constructive criticisms for the management team; the golf card driver policy could be more strictly enforced for everyone’s safety, and it would be awesome if the resort had an ATV with a rake or something to maintain and clean the beach (there was a lot of “straw” from the bay washed up on shore). Great KOA! Lots of space between sites, pleasant campers, friendly staff, great activities for the kids, nice bar and resturant, great to have water rental activities. Great stay! Quiet time was respected, facilities were clean!

First time visitor. Crowded but facility and staff can handle a lot of people. We have our small motor home but we’re are interested in a facility that could handle other family members without RVs. This place has it with hotel rooms and cottages. Also pools , beach and beac side bar and grill all great!!

Extremely crowded with no greenery or space at all between camp sites. Beach was covered in debris. Picnic area was closed. Main positive was the Bar/restaraunt was excellent service and good food. There is a nice bike path close the KOA that you can ride in the shade for several miles.

We had an amazing week, the beach was beautiful staff was friendly pool was nice. The only problem was the golf carts were driving little fast for our little ones.

It was a little loud with people partying until 2/3 am. I almost got run over by kids driving golf carts but Other than that we had a lot of fun. Adult bingo was great. The staff was great and seemed to enjoy working there . We enjoyed our stay and will be back for pride weekend.( a drag queen doing adult bingo would be fun that weekend)

The staff was excellent. The restaurant by the beach did have great drinks and the best crab sandwich my husband ever eat. Very small menu, we only ate there once. It definitely is a resort, we have a camper so we were not able to drive anywhere, if you want to go and just sit on the beach, or lounge at the pool and cook at your site, great place to go.

The campground itself was amazing. I gave it a 4 star because the ice machines seemed to always be broke and the snack bar was closed 3 days out of our stay. Neither of which were the campgrounds fault.

dog poop bags weren't cleaned out of the beach receptacle in a timely fashion and were piled so high the lid wasn't able to close. Warm out and the smell was nauseous when one walked passed to access the beach. Eventually emptied but was the next day.

By far one of the best vacations we have had with our grandkids. The best of both worlds by having a swimming pool and a beach within walking distance. The staff was marvelous and friendly.

They *try* to force you to sign away the rights to take pictures of you and use them for advertisement purposes. There is no way to decline this on the form, and they insisted that if I did not sign it that I would not be permitted to stay. Asked if they were going to insist I drive 6 hours home because I didn't want my face and the faces of my family members used for ads. They eventually gave up.

The private beach was great. The fire pit was a pool of water for our entire stay. The pool by the beach had nice seating areas and plenty of tables. The pool by the hotel was dark green and an eye sore. The surf side restaurant outdoor area was under construction. The place has potential depending on how the beachside attractions finish up. Mosquito and tick management would be a plus as well

Compared to the many KOA’s we have stayed at around the country this place is by far the worse. Mens room toilets were never cleaned in the 2 days we were there. Literally crap over flowing in 2 of the 3 toilets available by the pool. Trash laying around on the ground never picked up, broken bottles, pipes, and other safety hazards for guest abundant. The bathrooms were disgusting (toilet paper shoved into the toilet, trash on floor) Trash all over the grounds and on the beach The dog poop bag trash cans were overflowing onto the ground Went to the Bar and Grill one night to be told they closed at 8pm went back the next night we went back at 7:30 and was told they had called last call.

Overpriced compared to many other KOAs. "Deluxe" patio was a gravel spot with a fire ring built into the patio with no way to drain. Even if it had been dry, way to close to RV to use. Patio set had 2 broken chairs and was mildewed. No gas grill. Stayed 4 nights over a weekend and averaged $194 per night. The park was disorganized, lots of campers appeared full time. Clothes lines, tarps, junk.

Had no water for over 8 hours on June 19th. The owners failed to email anyone on the status of this issue. Need to hire staff to clean. Trash cans overflowing bathrooms smell and need extra cleaning. Also need to enforce park rules. Hire security to deal with noise after 11p and kids under 16 driving golf carts. Invest in better internet service. We made the best of it and had a good time.

The amenities are wonderful. The site not so much. The water spicket leaked and our site was a mud whole between the spicket and rain. If they can’t get these sites to drain better they should be graveled. For what we paid I was disappointed in the site.
