Great location and nice facility. It definitely needs a makeover; it is tired and worn. Laundry and bathrooms need to be thoroughly cleaned; they were filthy

Alittle disappointed. We stayed here because of the stocked ponds so we could fish. When we arrived we were notified that the ponds were not stocked and in fact closed. It would have been nice to have been notified ahead of time. Also the fire ring was too close to the site pad to have a fire.

The Campground was well maintained and all of the workers/ employees were very helpful. We enjoyed all of the festivities and the way the Campground was decorated for the upcoming holiday.

We waited 20 minutes to get escorted to our campsite, the only ones in line, laundry rooms were extremely dirty, we were there 7 days and no one cleaned them, the store had very little supplies, very disappointed with this campground!!!

Great campground and location! Only complaint is that the bathrooms were not kept very clean. Also, the one we used had no door on the stall. There are only two stalls which is no big deal but they both should have doors on them. Other than the bathrooms, our stay was great!

Enjoyed the activities' but had issues w/ quiet time as it was not enforced. We called several times to the urgent after hours and received only voicemail and it was full . We had to deal w/ loud campsite group close to us who sung till 1118pm when 10p was time to be quiet and respect others . The indoor hot tub needs to be redone as it was just warm water the outdoor should have been open

It was our first time staying there and we loved everything about it. Friendly staff and many activities for all ages. My only suggestion would be to have the bathhouses cleaned a little more frequently.

Stayed in camping trailer with four dogs. We got a pull thru with the Paw Pen on the lot. WORTH EVERY DIME! Dogs were calm and so loved being outside. The weather was beautiful. For families, this place is an 11. They had events going on all weekend. Lots of fun. Would recommend all year long.

Amazing Halloween Weekend; fun activities for everyone, campground was decorated very well, and LOVED the Haunted Trail. Cannot wait to book again for next year.

We stayed a few weeks before Halloween and they had a lot of activities for the kids all weekend long. Before leaving home with your RV trip here, search for directions that are suited for RVs, so that you don't end up taking roads with a lot of curves to get to this KOA.

This was our first time to this KOA, and we absolutely loved everything about it with respect to the staff who were absolutely amazing, all the activities provided, and the amenities available. However, I am removing one star for the extreme lack of cleanliness of the bathrooms. Disgusting!! We stayed on a riverfront site and loved it, but felt it was overpriced. Regardless, we will return again.

Great base for exploring the area. Very kid friendly with lots of Kids. Restrooms and laundry were good. Don’t use pool due to October temperatures.

We have stayed there before and it was very clean. It was not on this stay. Dog poop everywhere, garbage on grass, needed to be careful where you walked. I don’t know if the KOA is under new management, but needs improvement.

Nice upgrade to the WiFi to WiFi 6. Makes it easier to process my photography and share after hiking.

The wife & I think N Carolina has a lot to offer. The mountains, streams, trails, motorcycling roads & G-burg just over the mountain. The campgrounds are well kept, fairly spacious & reasonably accessible. Stuff for kids to do I guess, and a couple pools. We have no doubt that we will be back. I was just there a bit too early for the trees changing colors. I'll know better next fall! See ya soon.

Disappointed with fishing tournament and how it was not advertised River only. I am handicapped and looked forward to fishing the ponds. Much safer for me. Kept getting emails to extend our trip but the desk could not over a site to extend on. Really like to to give kudo's to Cory and Lane for their help with a low air tire on my Motorhome. They made it safer for us. Thanks.

The bathroom closest to the front of the KOA ran out of hot water for showers one evening. Needed to walk to the other showers in the middle of KOA. But overall a great experience as always! It is our favorite KOA in the Smokies!!

Shower houses were nasty and had mold. Never had hot water. Thankfully we could shower in camper. We will come back but would like to see the bathhouses kept cleaner. Everyone was super nice and we had a great time!

Stay was awesome. Only suggestion to improve is require all golf cart drivers to be at least 16 years old even for private carts brought in. You are very family oriented and don’t want that to change. We saw several kids driving golf carts that were underage and had other small kids in it with no adults.

Super clean campground. Everyone was extremely nice and kid friendly. The weekend activities for the kids were amazing. The campsite we stayed was 138 very level and the puppy pin was worth every penny. Will be coming back

Awesome time, spent with my brother. We had a good site on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The place was very clean The trout fishing was awesome. Will definitely be back soon

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.

The staff was very pleasant and the facilities were maintained well. There are plenty of things to entertain the kids with onsite, the fishing was good and location provided nice views. We definitely had a great time and certainly plan on returning!
