It was very good. The only thing was the pool was closed some because of issues so the kids were a little disappointed.

We absolutely loved staying at KOA Holiday!!! The campground is very clean, and the staff is great! We loved staying by the river, the walking areas, and the convenience to everything. We will be back! We don't have kids, but they have lots of fun things going on for families with kids. We don't fish but there's plenty of areas around the campground to fish. Love it!!!!!

Beautiful, peaceful campground! They had plenty of amenities to make the stay great and even held activities for the kids on the weekend.

Great time to visit....less visitors and more space for us :). Wet and windy but great fun for the little guy riding in the rain and through the puddles. Fishing wasn't bad either . Clean and friendly....what more could you ask for?

My entire family loves it here and my youngest asked to return every year - and it's 900 miles away! The store is amazing as are all the staff. Bathrooms and showers are always clean. The pet paw pen sites are fantastic - large pen and right next to the camper. It made camping with two large coonhounds a breeze. The nature path is wonderful as is the pool.

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. We came down from Virginia for part of Spring break to camp and experience the Smoky Mountains. The campground is wonderful and very family oriented with plenty of daily scheduled activities and things to do. Thos was our second time here and we will definitely be back. Thanks again for keeping the grounds so beautiful and clean!

Beautiful area, nice staff, clean bathrooms. Grass was easily 3' high in between our spots and we had to look for our connections. It could have been due to being busy, but the spot next to us on one side was empty a couple times over the week, so it could have been taken care of. Had to share water with the site next to us via a "Y", so that was weird. Despite this, I think we would go back.

Enjoyed the stay but was very annoyed that I could not select a site without paying a lock fee. That is ridiculous. We went with two other couples that had to pay the fee to be next to each other. I realize that there is alot of amenities with the campground but the price of the sites already exhibit that expense in my opinion. Also the original site that I was put on had been when we arrived.

This visit was our first time and we loved it. The sites were amazing. And the entire campground was well kep, clean, quiet. Great for families and fishing. I would suggest some markers on the roads and the campsites for when you are coming in at night especially. We will definitely be back

Our site was easy to get to. We have 43ft fifth wheel so we love the extra long sites.

The staff were professional and courteous. We have stayed her in the past and our grandson loves all the activities and other children around. The other campers are respectful and friendly. We will be back again soon to experience the new pool and outdoor facility.

we haven't been to this campground in about five years. The improvements you have made are fantastic. We love the paw pens and plan to camp here alot more in the coming year. The staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful with everything. Thank you for an awesome time.

We had such a great stay! The amenities were perfect for the kids and the adults really enjoyed the trout fishing. We really appreciated the effort your team put into having our 4 sites close to each other even though you were completely booked. We will certainly be back for another visit!!

Really like this campground. Friendly staff, clean. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is it’s super busy with kids everywhere and the dog pen sites people took advantage leaving dogs out barking a lot. I would stay here again.

We stayed at Cherokee KOA for the opening day of trout fishing, never have the gates been locked before going to the pond. This year they were locked and not opened even after speaking to staff about this issue. Staff were rude and I would love to speak to someone about my experience. We were not the only guest who were not happy with the experience for this weekend.

My family spent three nights camping and had a wonderful experience. Campsites were clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were clean as well. The campground had plenty of activities for kids. We will stay there again.

Lots were clean and nice size. Only complaint was because hot tub was broken for some time before we got there and hadn't been repaired. The main reason we picked this camp over others.

We love staying at Cherokee KOA. The campsites are spaced well. We trout fish so the river and pond boarding the campground are huge plus. Our only complaint this visit (opening day for trout fishing) was the management did not unlock gates early at the ponds so we could get spot to fish. We stay at these campsites mainly to fish so this was very important to us.

I stayed at the Cherokee KOA a few years back (twice) and said I would never stay again. Due to a family event I reluctantly stayed recently, Im glad I did ! The park was well kept, the staff was great. I was surprised to say the least. I was told by other campers that the campground had changed hands (owners) and they too were very pleased with the changes. Looking forward to another stay.

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.

The staff was very pleasant and the facilities were maintained well. There are plenty of things to entertain the kids with onsite, the fishing was good and location provided nice views. We definitely had a great time and certainly plan on returning!
