We visited after the Labor Day weekend. The camp was quite and peaceful. Our deluxe cabin worked out well for our family of 4. We have visited this campsite for amost 20 years now.

My family stayed in a cabin and everything was awesome. The view was right on the river and great relaxing river noises. We will be staying again next year.

The cabin we rented needed walls wiped down for dust and spider webs removed. The only light for the whole front of the campground comes right through the bedroom window. That window could use a room darkening shade. The employees were all helpful and very polite. Check-in was made super convenient and the text message reminders were great!

All the improvements are very nice. The only thing that needs addressed Is the light pole in the parking area near cabin 252 area. Cut it with a chain saw as close as possible to the asphalt & cap the wires. Hopefully we will be back next labor day weekend so send me any discounts

Our cabin was on the river and the scenery was beautiful. The cabin was clean and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

Great stay and wonderful amenities. Staff knowledgeable. 2 issues: ants were excessive. Instead of raid consider hiring pest control company for prevention. Also, staff were difficult to get a hold of by phone

Such a wonderful campground! My only suggestion would be to add personal firepits somehow to the deluxe cabins right when you come in. That was the only thing we would have loved to have.

This was such an amazing stay! The campground had so much to do and it was clean. The discount for being law enforcement was also a nice touch. Can’t wait to go back!!

It’s a great place for a relaxing time away. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Speedy delivery on wood and trash pickup. Our cabin was a little dirty when we arrived. Cob webs weren’t cleaned off the front porch. Found an old Cheeto in our room. The cabin didn’t smell freshly cleaned. Overall, still a great place to relax.

The pool was amazing the staff are always helpful. However we were not aware that our cabin had no AC. It was a very hot day we could not enjoy the cabin during the day time and at night to sleep it was very hot.

Loved our cabin. But not it’s location. We didn’t have a designated parking spot and never knew if there would be a parking place. Didn’t like the fact that we had to plug our golf cart in to charge either. Had to drive it down the sidewalk in between cabins to do it. Got parked in, the man in the cabin behind us let us drive the golf cart through his area to get out. Frustrating

Our stay was good, the campground has good swimming pool for adults as well as children. I would recommend camping staff spray poison ivy and clear back areas of the cabins so campers can access and enjoy to the river. Replace necessary light fixtures and bolts inside the cabins. Overall, would definitely recommend the campground to anyone and we will definitely come back next year.

We had a group of about 25 people. The only complaint was that the grass/weeds around the deluxe cabins and near the river were not maintained well like they have been in the past. There were many areas of really tall grass/weeds around our cabins/sites.

Have always loved staying here. So many wonderful changes. Some for good and some I think needs attention. The Cabin had spider webs and floors were dirty. Missed the security at night. The hot tub inside was dirty. But overall we totally loved our stay and will be back.

We had a really great weekend stay for my birthday weekend. I just wish the mattresses in the cabins were a little more comfortable than they were for what we paid for the cabin.

The property was great but our room upon arrival was very dirty floors were dirty Cobb webs everywhere understandable outside but not inside. Mattress was absolutely disgusting luckily we brought our own covers to put between us and Mattress. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Don't think I would pay 125 a night again for that type of mattresses and cleanliness but love the property.

We enjoyed the stay we like to do what we call":Glamping"a cabin with a bathroom and TV,this time the dispenser in the shower was empty and the TV speaker was brokenso if we had wanted to watch TV we couldn't have, Loved being by the creek and having a nice fire. The cabin was clean and the bed very comfortable! Staff was very professional and helpful, they were not concerned with the small stuff

Roaches in our cabin #246, apparently they knew of them because Roach baits were under kitchen and bathroom sinks. KOA did try to fix the issue by spraying but this was an infestation. We had stayed in this cabin 5 times previously with no issues, seems they are now more interested in profit over safe guarding the customers from preventable issues.

Probably my favorite Campground. Dogs barking all the time and late night music kills the peace and quiet most people are looking for. A little more control on those ignorant people would be nice, but all in all it's a great place �

The cabin floors have been filthy, drops of water on the floor, wipe it up with paper towels, and they're almost black. Parts of the refrigerator are dirty. Lots and lots of spider webs inside and outside around the door. We leave early so you can clean it, but not happening. Bathroom toilets nasty too. Let down! So many employees not doing what's needed.

$15 dollars to tie-dye a shirt? The fire pit in our campsite wasn't level. Made it hard to keep hot dogs, or grease, from rolling into the fire while cooking on the provided grill grate. The cabin was adequate for our needs. A spring return on the screen door would be a nice touch. Our campsite only had 2 chairs with the provided table/chair setup. I guess other campers took our other 2 chai

We had a deluxe cabin on the river. Very comfortable. Loved the deck overlooking the water. Screened area would have been nice. No issues with bugs just like the barrier (just in case).

The cabin's floor was pretty dirty when we arrived and there was even a dirty sock from a previous camper under the bed. We did order the cheapest cabins available but expected it to be a bit cleaner inside. We did leave the cabin better than how we found it. Everything else was great.

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.

The staff was very pleasant and the facilities were maintained well. There are plenty of things to entertain the kids with onsite, the fishing was good and location provided nice views. We definitely had a great time and certainly plan on returning!
