The campground is great however, we had to go to the office twice to get them to send someone to clean the ladies bathroom. When they did the shower was still not cleaned.

The Deluxe 2 bedroom cabin was great! It comes with everything you would need for an extended stay, including a full kitchen, utensils, plates, and coffee maker. The beds were very comfortable and the heat worked reasonably well. Service is always good and the folks are very friendly.

First off, we found food (half eaten) in refrigerator, hair in the shower, only two towels for a two night stay, and when complained and asked for more towels and new sheets for the bed they ignored us.

Bathrooms were not cleaned, broken shower door, cabin not cleaned, sticky refrigerator, eggs left in fridge. The last few times we have gone the bathroom were terrible. We really like the Koa but they don’t take pride in there campground

We stay at koa several times a year. But first time during the Halloween events. Even though we enjoy the trout fishing in the ponds and can't wait till things are better foe fishing in the ponds. But still the Halloween weekend was great whole family enjoyed it.

We loved your Studio Deluxe Cabin. So clean and the bed was very comfy. We enjoyed all the Halloween decorations and celebrations. Excellent laundry facilities. This was our first time at a KOA campground and we had a wonderful time. The cabin was nicely equipped, only missing a mat for in front of the shower (had to use a towel) and a sponge for washing dishes (bought one). Thank you!!

I paid you bet 600 dollars for a cabin that was filthy, cob webs everywhere. Human hair all over the bed. Cabinets falling an apart. Was told I would be by the river which is what I paid for and got a dry river bed.

I was very disappointed in the parking situation at my cabin. I was told it was a free for all around the cabin we stayed in. There were people bringing trailers and dropping them in the area where we could park. We had to park in sketchy areas just trying to get close to our cabin. I think it’s ridiculous that I pay as much as I did and couldn’t park close to my cabin.

We definitely our share of problems upon arrival and had it not been for MELISSA & RAY, we would have headed home. Thanks to their ���� kindness and excellent Customer Service our Family Vacation turned out to be wonderful! Will be back with hopes that they are still there!���������

Bath Vent fan needs cleaning. Bedroom ceiling fan needs cleaning. Both fans are nasty. Had a great time but KT514 has terrible road noise. Fire pit around back side of cabin is not ideal.

We have stayed at the Cherokee KOA every October for the past ten years. This year was probably the best I’ve ever seen the campground. The bathrooms needed some serious cleaning due to mold but hey, it’s a campground.

We love KOA Cherokee! We’ve been going for years & recommend it to everyone! This year we stayed in a Deluxe Cabin by the creek but fought roaches all weekend! I told 2 cleaning ladies but no one showed up to do anything. I finally had to go to the front office & they said they would send someone to spray. The guy showed up & handed me a can of roach spray to spray myself . Still saw them afte

The campground was nice. The store is great and the staff friendly. The restrooms and showers were poorly maintained - doors missing, no toilet paper, no shelf in showers. Our cabin was clean. We loved the area.

If you have your own rv/camper/tent and children, awesome place to stay. Plenty of activities. But if you stay in a cabin, not very clean. And I texted and called to report the shower is stopped up. Nobody came or contacted me or answered phone about it. Also I got a cabin on the so called river. It is more of a dried up creek. That was very disappointing. 5 stars for the children.

The cabin was full of cockroaches. The heat was malfunctioning. The drains wouldn't drain and they had to snake a BUNCH of slimy hair out of them. There was mold on the ceiling and wall. The smell in the cabin was terrible.

We stay every year with our chow chow people. Always a great get away. Your staff is unbelievable! Kuddos to such nice, friendly and helpful people. We try very hard to keep things caught up and not leave a nasty mess. The cabin is perfect and the deck is so nice to hangout and relax. So many things to do there and all around. Your staff does a great job with the Halloween decor.

We have stayed at Cherokee KOA MANY times. We normally love the stay. This trip the bathhouse was not clean at all. The toilet paper holders were broke and laying in the floor for days. The door was off the hinge. We tried calling before our trip to ask questions and the staff wouldn’t answer multiple calls. Finally, after waiting 16 minutes they answered. Very disappointed this trip.

We enjoyed the cleanliness of the entire camp ground. The activities for the kids went on all day for a weekend packed full of fun. We will definitely be returning.

We had a good time however there are some things that need to be addressed. We stayed there about 5 years ago and somethings have gone down hill: 1. Cabins need repaired and some TLC the dishes were chipped and not all there 2. The indoor pool and hot tub was so dirty it needed cleaning we didn’t go in it because of the black slime on the side 3. The store needed more employees to assist

The place was amazing. The nicest campground I’ve ever seen in my 61 I am years of life. One of the cleanest and organized campgrounds ever. And words cannot describe how accommodating the staff is. We’ve already booked for the next chow chow reunion in September of next year.

The improvements in the parking, the sidewalks, and the new outdoor pool were well received. We didn’t have children/ grandchildren, but it was easy to see the excitement with the Halloween/ Fall activities. Our cabin was the cleanest it had ever been. Please update the small sofa and lighting. We missed having the snack bar open. Staff was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay like always. it was so much fun watching the campground turn into a wonderful Halloween Spooktacular Event. All the staff was so helpful, whenever you needed anything someone was always there to lend a hand. Just wanted to let you know they all did a great job of setting everything up and the haunted house was awesome! Looking forward to new year!

Awesome time, spent with my brother. We had a good site on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The place was very clean The trout fishing was awesome. Will definitely be back soon

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.

The staff was very pleasant and the facilities were maintained well. There are plenty of things to entertain the kids with onsite, the fishing was good and location provided nice views. We definitely had a great time and certainly plan on returning!
