The staff welcomed me upon arrival. Maintenance arrived quickly when I asked for assistance with operating the gas logs--and the maintenance staff that provided the assistance was extremely polite and knowledgeable. The cabin was just as advertised. It was very clean and all needed amenities were provided. I enjoyed my stay.

We had a deluxe cabin for 5 of us. It was very clean and comfortable, right on the river. We were very happy with all the accommodations! Will definitely come back!

Our stay was great! The staff was very helpful! The only thing I would say negative is that the couch in our cabin needed to be replaced due to heavy wear and tear!

Loved everything about this place and would definitely go back but will go back in my camper before staying in another cabin, my daughter seems to be ate up with bed bug bites which will now cause me to have to treat everything in my own home now to prevent any in my own home.

We stay this koa numerous times this time not so good was told last month hot tub be ready get there be next week had 2 camping cabins and to make sure they side by side charged $22 per cabin ridiculous not sure we be back maybe new owners or manager but has gone down hill

A wad of gum was left on the shelf at top of bed and covered in ants. Also crawling on sheets. Unacceptable when paying for a deluxe cabin. We went with family and were put all the way across the campground from each other even though I was told the cabin sites would not change. The staff was not willing to help accommodate us. Also had no fire pit at one of the cabins. We were very disappointed

Super beautiful campground with mountains surrounding in every direction. We stayed in a cabin and it was clean except for having tons of spider webs, and we had several stink bug friends and ants stay with us. The bathroom house was super clean and very nice. The staff on the golf carts were very friendly but the staff that checked you in wasn't that friendly.

Overall, excellent experience! Very impressed with the Deluxe, Creekside cabin. This was one of the nicest cabins I’ve stayed in with all the essentials under one roof. One recommendation: Need ant traps, or exterminator. The ants were coming out of floor boards, and wall panels. This was only a slight nuisance: I had to closely watch my stuff to keep the ants off.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in your loft cabin. The riverside setting was peaceful and beautiful. The cabin was very clean, well furnished and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the upper "fenced patio deck" for our dog, the lower fire pit area, and the gas grill. The only addition I'd recommend would be a gate on the deck.

Wonderful campground in a magical area. The deluxe cabins were clean and in excellent shape. We really enjoyed the patio and fire ring. If you are coming to fish, confirm any fishing restrictions before your stay. KOA did not mention the upcoming tournament to us. We were sad, but we still enjoyed our trip! Can't wait to go back.

The campground was clean, quiet after 9pm and the indoor swimming pool was great. Bathrooms and showers were clean. We enjoyed our weekend stay.

Our little cabin was great for one night! The beds aren't great (they are camp beds) but they do just fine for one night. Thankful it had heat and power. The screen door needed some repair (it was torn allowing bugs in if main door was open). But for the money it was a great option.

Check in was underwhelming. No smiling faces to greet us. Luckily our cabin was ready so we didn't have to stay long there. I thought our cabin was On the river as requested , instead we faced the campground. Most the amenities were closed which I was not aware of. This trip was mostly for my kids so they were bummed out too. They did love the jump pillow though.

Rented a 1 bedroom cabin for 4 nights overlooking the river . It was perfect for me and my old dog except I got one where I couldn’t park in front . Carrying my 50 pound dog back and forth was tough but I managed. Staff fixed the AC filter inflaming my allergies so the last night was great. Place was clean . Loved the kitchen and the deck overlooking the river . Planning my trip back soon.

Stayed in a deluxe studio cabin. It was clean and cute and comfortable. I was disappointed that there was no plates, utensils etc. We brought burgers for the grill and thank God I brought my own spatula (just in case). Why do you supply dish soap and dish rag if there are no dishes??? Also, the mattress pad on the bed seemed too small as it kept popping off everytime my husband got up in the nig

Overall good. The cable TV reception buffers and hangs up ALOT, but the Netflix seems to work ok. Didn't try the others (Amazon prime, etc...). Ran out of propane for the grill and requested a new tank and they said they would bring it (Saturday morning). Got back from fishing around 6 pm and they had failed to bring a new tank so couldn't use the grill (afterhours help via phone doesn't work).

Called for toilet plunger multiple times, never received one. Called for extra towels multiple times, never received any. Not impressed. Have stayed here multiple times before and never had this type of experience, Do better.

The power went out and we understood that it was out of managements control. The cabin was very cozy and the experience was awesome for My wife and three kids under 9. We wish the pool stayed open longer than 8:00pm but it was fun while it lasted.

Usually I rave about our stay, but this time I'm going to have to take a step back and give a not so good review. After we checked in to our cabin, it was freezing in the living room. The fireplace wouldn't turn on,and were provided a space heater. the door to the bedroom is a fire-hazard due to not being able to open it at night without literally pushing with all your weight. Do better guys.

It was nice, the only complaints are that there were a lot of ladybugs in the cabin. They would crawl on us at night. And the power went out Saturday night and it was freezing cold and we got no money back or anything so we will probably not be back. The fireplace also did not work in the cabin

Love the cabins at KOA. This was our third stay at Cherokee KAO. The only complaint I have is that they will not furnish enough towels and washcloths. Two people for 4 nights and only 6 towels and washcloths allocated. When we asked for l more of each they said they could not give us those. . I don't necessarily object to not having a clean towel every day but a washcloth is another matter.

It was an amazing stay.We were in a cabin that was so clean. Conventiley located near so many things to do. The staff at the store were more than friendly.It was such an amazing first stay, that we signed up for the KOA awards program. We truly can't wait to get back.

I was here with 3 grandchildren and they had a blast. Our cabin was super fun and cozy. Our only issue is that the power kept tripping when the guests in the next cabin were running a few electrical things. This is the most scenic KOA I’ve been to and the staff were extra pleasant!

Had no heat or anything else in the cabin. If the website had posted that type of cabin didn't have heat would not have reserved it. Other cabins like the one that was reserved had heat but not this one. Tried to get refund but was told should have upgraded. Could have at least gave a discount or refund since the site did not mention there was no heat. No sheets and it was 30 degrees thst night.

Stay was good. This is our second time here and ironically in the same cabin. There are a few issues with the cabin that needs to addressed. We passed it onto the front desk. Overall a good place to relax. Just do t try checking in 30 minutes early. They will turn you away

I love this koa but this stay wasn’t very pleasant. The temperature was cold so I reserved the cabin with power, which had a heater but did not really heat anything ! Was a restless night to say the least.

Beautiful area, very nice staff. From our understanding from a local fish and wildlife officer that there was a recent change in ownership and that they were having some growing pains. We were there from Sunday to Saturday and had one of the pet spots. Great idea and made life with dogs and camping easy. The grass between sites and around the water, sewer, and electrical connections was easily 2'' high so we had to look for connections. We also had to share water via a "Y" with the site next to us causing water pressure issues at times. The site next to us was empty a couple of times that week for a few hours, but all it would have taken is a weed eater. Despite those few things, we will be back probably when the outdoor pool is open. The indoor pool is small for the campground and was closed a few times. Overall we give it 4 stars.
