Cable box was broken , hot tub needed to be cleaned and tires on golf cart literally had zero thread left on them

I have stayed at many KOA's but this one needs some new management! I had to ask multiple time for them to clean the bathroom as they were so dirty I would have felt better using a pit toilet! I would stay at any other campground in the area if possible!

Rachel and her team always go above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, but this Thanksgiving was remarkable!! Definitely will be a family tradition!!

Everything was wonderful about our stay! All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Thanksgiving potluck was so much fun with so much delicious food! The park is in a fantastic location as well, close to the hikes and sites we wanted to visit. We are very pleased and look forward to our next KOA stay!

Very good experience! Friendly and fun. Our cabin was great. Clean, warm, and the best view of the river. Our family will be back again. This was our third visit!

deluxe cabin on the river was amazing. The inside of the cabin needed help. The pull out sofa bed was full of crumbs, the ac unit in had mold & nasty growing but it, received burnt towels with cigarette hole in towel, lock broke, lights not working,

When we arrived, we asked how the fishing was currently prior to buying a tribal license. The KOA employee stated that “they were catching them left, right and center” and told me what bait was working best. This wasn’t our first stay at KOA Cherokee so that didn’t seem abnormal considering we’ve experienced this on our last stay. What we experienced was no one on the property had caugh

Another enjoyable stay. It’s a great place and the grand kids love it. If I can make one request. Can the indoor pool area be heated. Older people watching their kids get very cold.

It was our first time at this campground, the staff were very friendly and informative. The cabins were adorable and riverfront, and affordable pricing very close to the Harrahs casino, and the little town for shopping, plenty of restaurants and things to do within the campground and the surroundings. We will definitely be going again.

Visited here many times but this time had major problems with our cabin. There were rats-they woke us up during the night and ruined $50+ of food. Also, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable due to a big dip in the middle. We were also disappointed the hot tub was closed. But, on a positive note the thanksgiving meal was amazing. I just wish we had slept while there-no sleep ruined the trip.

Our 1st time back in 20 yrs. Very clean campground, friendly, helpful staff. Disappointed ponds had not been stocked in 2 months-it was Thanksgiving wkend. Sure that's no fault of the KOA. Had a great spot by the pond for no good reason. Camp store Items, in particular, tumblers very expensive, but we bought 2 at $32.95 ea.KOA hoodies only avail. in sm med - needed L & XL. :( We'll be back!

Stayed over thanksgiving and found the campground to be not very well maintained and somewhat chaotic. None of the kids / family amenities advertised are really available in this “off season” but the campground was very full. It would have also been better in our opinion to be on the west side of the national park - more is over that way. Bathrooms were not clean and neither was the indoor poo

Perfectly level sites. Clean restroom and shower. Staff is helpful and friendly. The only downside is that river access is limited.

What a beautiful campground. The bath houses are so fresh and clean. Love the spots that accommodate puppies. Sites are roomy and level.

Kim at check in was so helpful. We loved our 1st ever stay at any KOA. We stayed in the cabin by the river and fished. Everyone we encountered on the campground was so kind, hospitality was tops and so helpful. Thanks for making our weekend away so special.

We arrived late on check-in day and the cabin was very hot with no instr. to turn the fireplace off. The only air cond. was in the kitchen area with did not circulate to the bedroom. We was up at 3:30am trying to cool the cabin down. It was too hot to sleep in the bed the first night. The toilet seat was about to fall off, one person could hardly take a lukewarm shower and lady bugs.$100n too much

Well i have been coming there for 20 years now. The cabin linens were so dirty it was horrible. The no Burning camp fires made our trip not so good, we would of rescheduled if we would of known. So telling the customers this i would recommend an important factor. This over all the years was the worst dirty trip to KOA Cherokee that i have ever been on. Roaches in all 3 cabins we rented.

I was looking forward to enjoying the sauna :) the website says there is a sauna but in real life there isn't :). also, the propane fire pits were not allowed by the pool bc of the fire ban, but it's surrounded by cement, enclosed and it's the same ide as people cooking on their own portable propane grills, so that's really dumb if you really think about that. other than that, the place is nice.

Absolutely love this campground! So much for my grandchildren to do, just amazing! Clean cabins and campsite, we rented both in our week here. Very accommodating staff, they will help you with just about anything!

Awesome time, spent with my brother. We had a good site on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The place was very clean The trout fishing was awesome. Will definitely be back soon

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.
