Cabin 365 needs some work done ,,,,Ceiling fan is about ready to fall!!

Our cabin was nice only issue was the fan in bathroom didn’t work and you could see mold building on the walls in the bathroom…. Second thing is that bunks only had top sheets and no fitted sheets so sleeping was uncomfortable bc the bed couldn’t be made correctly.

We visited after the Labor Day weekend. The camp was quite and peaceful. Our deluxe cabin worked out well for our family of 4. We have visited this campsite for amost 20 years now.

My family stayed in a cabin and everything was awesome. The view was right on the river and great relaxing river noises. We will be staying again next year.

The cabin we rented needed walls wiped down for dust and spider webs removed. The only light for the whole front of the campground comes right through the bedroom window. That window could use a room darkening shade. The employees were all helpful and very polite. Check-in was made super convenient and the text message reminders were great!

All the improvements are very nice. The only thing that needs addressed Is the light pole in the parking area near cabin 252 area. Cut it with a chain saw as close as possible to the asphalt & cap the wires. Hopefully we will be back next labor day weekend so send me any discounts

This was our second time staying here for this year and we love this campground so much that we already booked our next trip for November. We will be trying out one of the cabins by the creek. Can’t wait to return for our next stay!

Our cabin was on the river and the scenery was beautiful. The cabin was clean and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

Our family had so much fun camping at the KOA. The staff was great, clean facilities, and so much to do with the kids. I just wish we would have caught some fish!

Have visited for many years. The employees were exceptionally nice and helpful. I was impressed that shower house was cleaned frequently and laundry room was very clean and nice. Sewer was backed up first night but was addressed as soon as I reported it. Only inconvenience was the piles of recently cut grass that clinged to our feet. Would have been nice to have had this raked up.

We love it there but I NEVER want to stay near the bathhouse/basketball goals again. It was awful. Always noisy and kids cussing like crazy.

It was really great! We even enjoyed the decorations that went up for the "5 weekends of Halloween." It made us want to come back!!

Great stay and wonderful amenities. Staff knowledgeable. 2 issues: ants were excessive. Instead of raid consider hiring pest control company for prevention. Also, staff were difficult to get a hold of by phone

I do wish a little more time was spent on site prep, especially the paw pen sites. Often there are left over dog droppings inside the fenced areas.

Nice view of the mountains all the way around KOA. Nice size camping spot. We got the put though and had plenty of room. Very quiet at night. Would recommend staying there and would stay again if we ever make the 450 mile trip again. Seem to be a clean camp ground. Also looked that we parker on a slab so leveling the camper was easy. Just had to pull on the slab and it was level.

Such a wonderful campground! My only suggestion would be to add personal firepits somehow to the deluxe cabins right when you come in. That was the only thing we would have loved to have.

Absolutely love this campground! So much for my grandchildren to do, just amazing! Clean cabins and campsite, we rented both in our week here. Very accommodating staff, they will help you with just about anything!

Awesome time, spent with my brother. We had a good site on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The place was very clean The trout fishing was awesome. Will definitely be back soon

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.
