I’ve been camping my entire life. I’ve been to at least 10-15 campgrounds. Cherokee KOA is the nicest I’ve been to by far. The bathhouse was clean and extremely nice. 10/10, would stay again.

Always a great time staying at the KOA in cherokee, I do wish we would have been informed about the fishing in the ponds but we caught plenty in the river.

We enjoyed our stay like always. it was so much fun watching the campground turn into a wonderful Halloween Spooktacular Event. All the staff was so helpful, whenever you needed anything someone was always there to lend a hand. Just wanted to let you know they all did a great job of setting everything up and the haunted house was awesome! Looking forward to new year!

We have been staying at your location off and on for over 25 years. Staff is always courteous and accommodating and your facilities are always clean. We will continue to stay with you when we travel to your area.

We love staying at Cherokee KOA this was our second year there. We love the beautiful river and the ponds to trout fish in. Really missed having a cafe on site. Sometimes when you just want to relax and go no where it would be nice to just grab something to eat there on site. The staff is great super friendly. Absolutely love how pet friendly it is. Will be returning!

We absolutely love this campground! The staff is super friendly. The sites are spacious with plenty of room to spread out! Our only suggestion is for the ceiling fans in the cabins to be checked. The one in our cabin was super wobbly if turned up past low and sounded like it was going to fall. Other than that, we will be back next October!!!

Beautiful, well maintained park in a beautiful setting. Generously sized paved sites. Lots of amenities and activities. Outstanding fall/Halloween decorations. Friendly, helpful staff. We’ve traveled the country and this park would be among our top choices.

We have a 40 ft fifth wheel. I had reserved a riverside site. They put us on 229 which was entirely too short. Our escort(KOA employee) even radioed and told them that our RV would stick out in the road. They told him they had nothing else. There were plenty of same sites. I had to call and speak to a manager because we were not taking the risk of our RV being hit in the nose by incoming traffic.

We rented a cabin because our motor coach is in the shop for repairs. We love the Smoky Mountains and the location of this KOA is perfect for our adventures.

Great KOA and amazing location. Loved the hot tub and the deck over the river. All the people there we awesome. Great place to,stay while visiting Cherokee, which has become one of our favorite cities.

The campground is beautiful and well kept. Staff is very friendly and helpful. And the location was very convient to Cherokee which was great while enjoying our elk watching several times a day. Our cabin was cute, clean and comfortable. We will be returning!!!

a very nice place to camp , nice indoor and out door pool. nice store with many items. Cabin we rented was nice but needs couple items taken care of (new screen door, electric plugs are kinda loose, window treatments ) minor issues. Over all was a great place to stay. on the river. The workers are very nice and helpful. They do a lot doing holidays decoration wise and for the kids mostly.

Everything was clean and in very good condition except for the grass around structures, rocks and trees. The grass was cut, but it was very weedy around items. Weed eating needs to be included in the groundskeeping. Other than that, the place was in great shape. Lots of activities for the fall and the sites were a good size. We will come back! Book if looking for a place to camp nearby.

This place is amazing!! It’s super kid friendly and wonderful for the family. The indoor pool and hot tub was very clean and well maintained. The kids stayed in awe with the Halloween decorations and activities. Trout fishing is a MUST and tons of fun. We stayed in a camper and the site was perfect! We had plenty of room and was able to enjoy time as a family without being squeezed in with someo

Very nice KOA, with the exception of the area where the employees reside. Many of the utility boxes need serious repairs and some sites need concrete replaced. On a super positive note, you have Corey, very hard worker who goes above and beyond. Enjoyed our time there and will be back.

The Cherokee KOA was shady and quiet. The sites were well maintained. The staff told us where to expect to see elk and we were not disappointed! Great RV Park.

The campground is located in a pretty mountain valley. Everything is clean and well-kept. Best shower house I've ever experienced in a campground. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool, playground, and bouncing pad. There was a fun fall festival on Saturday night. The WIFI signal was strong. The cable TV didn't work but it may have been an issue with my RV. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed with you since about 2020. We keep coming back because not only is the property site SO BEAUTIFUL with the surrounding mountain & all the big beautiful trees in the campground but there are always new improvements. This year we were impressed to see the ac/heat in the upgraded cabins! That would definitely bring us back in hotter/cooler weather!! Your H'ween decorations are AWESOME

It was a beautiful area and the staff was so friendly!! Great place especially if you have little ones. Only one small problem was no hot water one morning during a shower otherwise I would say excellent stay and we will be back next fall!!

The cabins are way too expensive! Air conditioner only in one room not bedroom. Nothing to set stuff on while in bathroom. I enjoy camping in my 5th wheel here. Park was decorated very cool for Halloween except babies hung from the fence

We loved the amenities at this KOA. However the sites were fairly close together which normally would not be an issues except that several neighbors were smoking weed the entire stay. Mornings, evenings, nighttime. For a family friendly place this was unacceptable in my opinion.

Awesome time, spent with my brother. We had a good site on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The place was very clean The trout fishing was awesome. Will definitely be back soon

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.

The staff was very pleasant and the facilities were maintained well. There are plenty of things to entertain the kids with onsite, the fishing was good and location provided nice views. We definitely had a great time and certainly plan on returning!
