Nothing special here. Laundry,restrooms and pool mediocre. Plumbing for a sink in the laundry room but no sink.Arrived at 1:05 pm and was told I would need to pay an early checkin of $10(check in is 2:pm) but they would let me park in front of the office until 2pm. The campground ( and my assigned site) were empty.beach was gross.What kind of successful business runs like this?I won’t be back!

Just stayed one night and it was too hot to explore but it was a nice, quiet spot. Staff was friendly as well.

We loved our stay here. Shady sites, no bugs, clean and spacious restrooms/showers, and a very friendly staff. We’ll be back!

The girl behind the desk and guy taking us to our site were fantastic trying to find us a spot on the shade for our 6 day stay in the heatwave. Much appreciated. Sorry I didn’t catch their names �

We really enjoyed this campground. Everything was SUPER clean, one of the cleanest and nicest bathrooms I have ever used at a campsite. Lots of shade trees and even a cute little petting zoo. We will definitely stay here again.

During our stay I lost my phone and either someone turned it in or your staff found it, either way one of your staff members that was cleaning the adjacent cabin to ours went out of her way to help us find it. I hold all of your staff in highest integrity and character which is difficult to find nowadays! A+ for such a wonderful place to stay and visit. Thanks for everything.

We stayed in a cabin that was large enough yet was very cozy and had all the basics you need. The grounds were well kept and the staff and other guests staying there were very friendly.

One word to describe this place, Adorable!!! it feels like you are visiting a family member out in the country. They have a little farm area fresh eggs, a mini market, everything is clean and the staff is nice and helpful.

Welcoming to all at this KOA. We had a two night stay while traveling cross country and it we picked the perfect KOA! Pool was clean and welcoming, holiday festivities were great and bathrooms/laundry were clean and had AC. Only thing we were annoyed with were the flyes.

This Was The Second Year In A Row For Us To Stay at this KOA Over The 4TH Of July. EXCELLENT Service. Property Has Always Been Clean. Friendly Staff Always Happy To Help!! Always Doing Fun Games And Activities With Our Grandchildren Love This Campground!!! Will Be Back Next Year

We love this campground. It is very well kept, and so kid friendly. The way you our heart is thru our children, and they always look forward to coming her at the Checotah KOA.

We had a wonderful time. All of the special activities and fireworks were great!!! You put a lot of work and money into the activities and it was very much appreciated!!! We also loved our campsite!!

Our trailer tire blew out just before the KOA exit. Even though they were pretty full due to 4th of July weekend they found us a site. One of the employees helped us get the tire off and our spare tire on. Staff here is wonderful and supportive!!

Other than a slightly difficult to maneuver into site , it was a great stay. Lots of room to walk the dogs with 2 separate dog parks together. A short walk to Cherokee Restaurant where we had a good meal. Good salad bar too Nice stay

It's a great place to stay. The showers and restrooms are clean and the people are friendly. The lots are large with a lot of shade. It's close to the highway which makes travel easy but you can hear the traffic.

The campground was an easy drive from and to the highway. The spots were relatively flat gravel and plenty long for 42 foot fifth wheel and park a full size dually as well. My granddaughter enjoyed the pool.

Other than the Highway traffic noise this KOA is great. Bathrooms where the cleanest we have found.

Rented RV site #62. Very nice with paved patio: fire ring/cooker, Adirondack chairs, propane grill, table with 4 chairs. Large tree cover. We had to use leveler blocks on the passenger side and were able to successfully level our camper. Great service! Fun feeding the animals also. Nice dog park.

KOA is always a sure bet. This is a great campground, clean & well taken care of. Sherri at the front desk is super helpful with reservations & great at check in. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place to stop. We were only there one night and during the off season, but it was so quiet and beautiful. The lake was awesome and I loved seeing the animals that lived there too. Great customer service.
