We visit annually for a tubing trip and enjoy very much our time at the campground. Thank you for all you do to make our stay enjoyable.

I was very excited for this trip but the campground was just okay with some areas that need attention. The pool looked murky when I walked up to check it out. The fishing area was just nasty. No fishing happened during our trip. The trail for walking was in need of some trimming. Our campsite was nice but on the smaller side and we did pay for an upgrade to a patio with a fire ring.

Staff was unfriendly. The pool looked like it belonged in a penitentiary. 6 ft fence, topped with barb wire, with trees and vines grown thru .

Quick weekend in Charlottesville, so the location of the KOA was great. We visited several years ago as well. The campground does not seem to be well maintained. Our deluxe site was also quite a challenge for our 43' Fifth Wheel. We could not use the patio or firepit as our steps opened right into the patio. Disappointing given the extra fees we paid.

Nice place to rest the soul, peaceful, quiet, relaxing and not much commotion going on. Small quaint campground, employees super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a quiet weekend stay at this campground.

This is a very nice park. The sites are level, long enough for big rigs (ours is 54' long with the toad hooked up) wide and well -graveled. The wifi was good for campground wifi. You aren't going to stream movies but it does well with checking emails. The roads into Charlottesville are scenic and in good condition.

The Charlotteville KOA allowed us to check in early which was nice and the bathrooms where clean. It's not the most attractive park and we were disappointed with our total stay.

Overnight stay only great back in site facing natural area very quite. We will come back to spend some time in the Charlottesville area and adjacent apple orchards.

This place is very nice and relaxed. Cutest little store. We broke down here and they were able to accommodate us for one extra night and make that part less stressful.

Bad location. Terrible, very narrow winding road coming in from the north with a class A motorhome and flat tow. Campground itself needs a lot of work! Shrubs, trees, weeds, all need trimming. Dog park and pool fences completely surrounded by tall unruly overgrowth. Snake in murky pool. Need signs. Nothing but a gravel parking lot with wild overgrowth. Worst KOA. Friendly staff is a plus.

Nicely run campground. Facilities are very clean. Camp store has a great selection of rv accessories. Workers are very nice and helpful.

Great place to stay. Very understanding. Had 2 blowouts on camper and wife broke her toe and ended up at ER for the toe and ended up at motel and the campground didn't charge for the night we didn't show up.

I called a minute after closing (6pm) and got a call back and a site. This was great stop traveling on 29. The site was level we did not need to drop our travel trailer. To sum it up this was in a good location for us and we had an excellent spot for an over night stay. It is overpriced a little bit but that is expected at KOA. Thanks!

Not sure why this is a KOA, I have been to a lot of KOA's and this one does not rate. it was not kid friendly AT ALL!! The air mattress trampoline was only open when the office was so 9AM to 6PM.The pool was dirty and noone wanted to use it. The roads are all gravel or dirt so kids with training wheels could not use it. All in all it was not a place I would choose to go back to.

Really great place. Need to do some cleaning up. All the small trees between the campsites need to be cut out. Need to clean around pool fence and fix the fence. If.you want natural shade let some bigger trees grow up away from the pool. All in all it's great. But really does need to be cleaned up.

Dusty, tight quarters, very quiet campground and unable to use Dish due to trees. Adequate site, very near Trump Winery and others. Very unsafe trying to leave campground due to blind left turn. They need to install a mirror across street to view oncoming traffic.

Booked 7 nights, left in less than 24hrs. The staff there was so condescending, unhelpful, and rude that we that we felt unwelcome and left. Photos online misrepresent amenities... I'd say the online marketing borders on dishonest compared. Spots are level and easy to access. Grounds and trail overgrown. Super disappointing experience, especially compared to all our past KOA experiences.

josh and jennifer were the best hosts!! they made the stay so lovely and helped us smiled us waved at us. we had rv issues and they were quick to help and offer all they could!! will come back again!!!!

The Playground is an old metal one that is infested with Bees, the jumping pad is really small and in the bright sun most of the day and the pool smells like pee.

Very nice, clean, well maintained KOA. We stayed in a pull through where smaller trailers and cabs were, it was wooded with spectacular trees and quite private. There was an area that was very nice for bigger rigs. Dog yard was small but clean and nice. Bathrooms were very nice. Poison ivy all around so be careful.

This KOA is off the beaten path which was nice as it was quiet and remote. The folks that run it are a nice family. They are putting a lot of work into it with the addition of several new sites. Nothing fancy to speak of here, but was a great stay for seeing the Charlottesville area. The road in is two lane and a bit winding but our duelly and 39' fifth wheel made it just fine. Be advised there is bridge construction on a google route that is narrow and tight turn. The office advised us of how to avoid it. Happy trails.

We had a two day stay here in early April. The bathroom facilities were immaculately, clean, and private. My kids state that this was the best campground they've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely thorough and friendly. Prices at the general store were excellent. They also have a propane filling station, which is a nice plus. Would definitely recommend and give five stars. PS. There is an awesome nature, hike and pet trail.
