Peaceful campground. Close to all the historic sites and wineries!

We had 2 nights there, the park was fairly empty. Did use the laundry area, which was very clean. The grounds were very nice and the other amenities were good. Good location to get to Monticello.

We enjoyed the stay. Quiet. A little far out and the entrance exit had a blind corner coming at you fairly fast.

We much enjoyed our stay at this rather remote KOA. Very quiet as it was far from I64. Sites (we were at #32) spaced a good bit apart. Very close to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello which made visiting there easy.

We were welcomed on arrival and were explained where our site was. Also given a map of the campground. Are questions were answered completely as well as we were informed of attractions in the area. We loved our site it was nice with alot of rom.

This is a quiet, very clean KOA with large sites. This was our first stay at this location and looking forward to coming back!

We only stayed one night to do some local sightseeing the next day but I found the cable TV connection did not work and the sewer line started backing up leaving a noticeable smell randomly until I shut off my dump valve and added some tank cleaner.

Nice quiet. Beautiful leaf changes in vista's. However with many empty sites during the duration of our stay we were put in a site butted up with another camper. Too close for comfort. The restrooms were clean but co ed. That's a first for me.

What a beautiful campground. Quiet, level sites, with a great view of the autumn color out thru the woods. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We have stayed in many KOA’s. Just gave us a map circled our spot said here you go. Other than checking on one thing in the office never saw anyone who worked there, we stayed 5 nights, our experience has always been very friendly staff. No drive bus saying everything ok,any questions,nothing. The campground setting was pretty.

The campgrounds are clean, well maintained. We only spent 1night, so we didn’t make use of any amenities. The upside is its proximity to Charlottesville and area wineries/cider houses. And it’s quiet and dark. Downside: The Wi-fi was just ok at our site - other sites might be better. The sites themselves are a bit tight, and you have to really scope out level ground before setting up.

Beautiful campground- nice trail around the campground- nice store- nice play area- nicest bathrooms we have ever been in - clean laundry room. Close to everything.

We enjoyed the stay and it was very neat all the Halloween activities that was available for the weekend HOWEVER we checked in on a Sunday evening and it was Friday morning before any bathrooms/showers were cleaned. I did let the office know on Wed. I have pictures of the condition of the bathrooms if you would like them. We do not have bathroom in our camper so had to endure the filth.

I love how quiet and layed back it felt. The nature trail was beautiful and longer than expected. I loved the rustic feel of the campground.

The sites are nice and mostly level. Fairly quiet as well. Have stayed here multiple times. The cable TV stations are few and several don't come in well at all. Wifi is not good either. I was in line of site to the main office and my connection would drop for no reason. Hope they improve those 2 things

It’s a very small campground. The bathrooms are the nicest thing they have. The play area Is very overgrown, and very out dated. (The swings look like they are about to break in half). Pulling out of the campground is sort of dangerous, it’s right on a curve. Very hard to see oncoming traffic!

This was a very nice campground. This is our first stay in a KOA and we really enjoyed the experience. The staff was very friendly. Bath houses were kept very clean and modern. Very pleased with our first experience. Thanks.

We were very happy with our stay at Cville KOA. The best amenity for us was the bathroom/shower stalls found in the office house. They were warm, clean and had extras such as the 3 tier shelves, hooks, and a nice big sink with a real faucet (not one that has to be pushed down every few seconds). The size/cleanliness of the stalls made it better than our own in TT! Staff and store were nice too

This visit was our first time staying at this KOA. And we will surely be back to stay again. The Young lady in the office was very friendly and welcoming. Such a Beautiful place to stay, Evey lot is very spacious Beautiful surroundings with the leaves changing color. Very relaxing vacation.

Beautiful peaceful area. Wonderful shower suites rather than shower stalls. They were very clean with plenty of table top areas to lay your belongings. The front desk woman was fair, not very friendly. But that’s ok. Really nice laundry facility. All the machines were working.

We really enjoyed the KOA campground and the surrounding area. Everything was in perfect order. Relatively easy to get to from Rt. 29 and wide roads.

Hadn’t been upgraded in many years. Growth all over the cabins. Lots are in touched. Pool is green and overgrown. Laundry looks like it was closed. Can’t believe it’s a KOA

One of the better KOAs we have stayed at so far! the woman at the desk was so nice and helpful. The facilities were kept very well and everything was clean. We will absolutely be back!

We had a great stay. Very quiet. 2 things I would suggest: Patrol that dogs are secured - We witnessed a dog being surrounded by 2 vicious dogs. Luckily the owner came and got them or I’m not sure what would have happened. Finally, the pond needs to have more access. There is only one safe place to access it and if one person is fishing, you have to return later to fish.

The campground seems old and outdated, kind of depressing. Many of the sewer connections are slightly uphill from the lots. Worst of all, the staff was apathetic and unhelpful. There was a large argument with a bunch of people in the lot across from us with lots of drinking, swearing, and physical threats. Loud highway noise. No security. We left feeling overcharged and under appreciated.

Very nice, clean, well maintained KOA. We stayed in a pull through where smaller trailers and cabs were, it was wooded with spectacular trees and quite private. There was an area that was very nice for bigger rigs. Dog yard was small but clean and nice. Bathrooms were very nice. Poison ivy all around so be careful.

This KOA is off the beaten path which was nice as it was quiet and remote. The folks that run it are a nice family. They are putting a lot of work into it with the addition of several new sites. Nothing fancy to speak of here, but was a great stay for seeing the Charlottesville area. The road in is two lane and a bit winding but our duelly and 39' fifth wheel made it just fine. Be advised there is bridge construction on a google route that is narrow and tight turn. The office advised us of how to avoid it. Happy trails.

We had a two day stay here in early April. The bathroom facilities were immaculately, clean, and private. My kids state that this was the best campground they've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely thorough and friendly. Prices at the general store were excellent. They also have a propane filling station, which is a nice plus. Would definitely recommend and give five stars. PS. There is an awesome nature, hike and pet trail.
