We loved our cabin and enjoyed sitting out at the fire pit. It was convenient to rafting and activities in town. Also we accidentally left a clothing item and they kindly let us know and mailed back to us. Will come again!

Stay was great....... registration office staff was personable. My recommendation from staying at other KOA campgrounds is a dish rack for the sink and dish towels which usually is included in "linens provided".

The cabin was clean but had a very strange odor. Very comfortable. Nice small campground. Pool was nice, but weird green paint color makes it look like it's full of algae. (It isn't, but paint color is questionable). My wife slipped and fell on one of the gravel roads and sliced her knee open which required 8 stitches to close and more than half a day of camping enjoyment lost. Amazing bathooms

The staff was very helpful. We had vehicle problems, and they went above and beyond to help us get back on the road.

Stayed in one of the cabins for a couple nights. It was a nice relaxing stop on a long motorcycle trip. I was able to visit Monticello and get some great pictures. Fairly convenient to stores for supplies, about 10 miles. Around the corner is a lazy day road which leads to some nice wineries. I will be back with my spouse to explore on the motorcycle a little more. Staff was great.

Staff was not very friendly at check in. Stayed in a deluxe cabin which had 2 older TV’s with no HDMI inputs and only given 1 remote with scotch tape to hold the batteries in it. Microwave was working intermittently, had to keep opening the door and shutting it again to make it work. I have been visiting your facility for years and it seems the place could use some updating considering the price

We rented one of the small, electric equipped cabins. It was my first time staying in this capacity at a KOA and it was really great. The cabin was clean & cozy. I had a late arrival and the team left a map for me at the office w/easy instructions to the cabin. Pool was nice! Staff was super helpful! The campground is easy to navigate and closely located to Charlottesville's downtown

Good stay/facilities. However, I had a bad slip and fall in the shower, upon stepping onto the wet shower surface. Twisted and fell right on my spine, but luckily no damage. I'd highly recommend added a simple hand rail along the shower wall and a rubber slip mat on the floor. Accidents happen, and while not every slip & fall can be prevented, small investments like that can help prevent disaster.

We were there for a weekend. It was very easy to find. Check in and out was a breeze. Cabin was clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean! Very quiet and relaxing! Definitely will be back!!

Great bathrooms!!! Cabin was well kept. We were planning on fishing but it was quite a walk and no real open space to fish from. The trail was nice though. Very nice quiet campground.

We asked for toilet paper after check in and we were told no that there was some under the sink, there wasn't. We ran out of toilet paper in our deluxe cabin that wasn't cheap to rent. Not good customer service at all.

Kabin 1 sleeps 8 but the newer patio table & chairs accommodate only 4 and there is not room for food, utensils, lantern, etc. We liked the picnic table! We suggest enlarging the stone paver area around the fire-pit. Hard to see the raised edges at night (tripping) and the back legs of chairs don’t fit on pavers when we sit around the fire. That said, we’ve enjoyed this KOA 20+ years.

It was a nice getaway. I loved the campground and the bathrooms are the best I’ve ever seen. The girl working was so friendly and helpful. I loved the rustic look. I’ll definitely be back

Always very comfortable and quiet. Bathrooms are awesome and clean and private! Staff always very nice and helpful. Have been here a few times now. Pretty close to attractions to visit.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and it was such a great experience! We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin and it was wonderful. Very clean, spacious, and just all around more than we expected! We definitely plan to make another trip back here. All of the staff were helpful and welcoming. The campground was well maintained and facilities (bathrooms) were all very clean.

I spent two nights in a small cabin. Cabin and facilities were very clean and tidy. The staff were very polite and helpful. Will be staying again in the future and would highly recommend the Charlottesville KOA!

WE stayed in a cabin which was in a very quiet area. The pool area was very dated and the water cloudy looking. The arcade room was just a pool table with the same teenagers using the table every time we stopped by, the air hockey table had no puck. Need to give older teens a place to go and unwind. The bathrooms were amazing

Kind of disappointed at our kabin, we have stayed once before and the kabin was nice but this time we got a kabin that smelled like cigarettes and looked kind of dirty and cheap and very dark dim lighting and it kind of ruined my husbands vibe for the trip. The campground seemed more run down then the last time we stayed.

Very nice, clean, well maintained KOA. We stayed in a pull through where smaller trailers and cabs were, it was wooded with spectacular trees and quite private. There was an area that was very nice for bigger rigs. Dog yard was small but clean and nice. Bathrooms were very nice. Poison ivy all around so be careful.

This KOA is off the beaten path which was nice as it was quiet and remote. The folks that run it are a nice family. They are putting a lot of work into it with the addition of several new sites. Nothing fancy to speak of here, but was a great stay for seeing the Charlottesville area. The road in is two lane and a bit winding but our duelly and 39' fifth wheel made it just fine. Be advised there is bridge construction on a google route that is narrow and tight turn. The office advised us of how to avoid it. Happy trails.

We had a two day stay here in early April. The bathroom facilities were immaculately, clean, and private. My kids state that this was the best campground they've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely thorough and friendly. Prices at the general store were excellent. They also have a propane filling station, which is a nice plus. Would definitely recommend and give five stars. PS. There is an awesome nature, hike and pet trail.
