This campground is very convenient to downtown Charlottesville and attractions yet still feels like you are in a wooded country setting. Very quiet at night after quiet hours. Ashley was great. She called us since we were arriving in the evening. She made sure we knew the advised route for trailers. We will return again when visiting Charlottesville.

Small KOA. All gravel. Difficult to leave with RV due to severe blind spot from the left. Had to get out and spot for my husband. Low hanging branches. Staff not that helpful.

Very quiet, and peaceful. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. Easy access to the camp site, Full hookups were located in a perfect place

We stayed Friday to Monday and had a very good time. We did the wine trails and distilleries tours. The campground was centrally located so we didn't have to drive far to get to anything we wanted to visit. Our site was nice, open, and full service. would recommend it to anyone that wants to visit the Charlottesville area.

We were there for long weekend and enjoyed that it was quiet. We did not see many who worked there but the check in was very pleasant. Apparently the pool has been painted a olive green which can make it look dirty so we did not swim..maybe that can be addressed along with the vines growing along the fence as well. Overall though we would go back. It’s close to a lot of things to go and do.

The spots were clean and well laid out. WiFi and amenities worked great the entire weekend. Bathrooms were too notch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved it all!

Amazing little campground. Easy to find and navigate. Good wifi signal and friendly staff. Site 45 was perfect! The only thing i would suggest is a little bit more selection at the camp store. The barbed wire around the pool was a little unsettling.

Stayed for a very relaxing week. Enjoyed the pool and internet. The walking path was also an easy stroll and enjoyable. The bathrooms and shower were the nicest of any campground ever visited. The jumping pad and playground were also nice although the former closed a bit early at 6 and was very hot for bare feet. The game room was air conditioned but didn’t have much. Grade A.

Nice quiet campground. No frills nothing spectacular just simple camping with amenities. Not for those looking to have a lot to do, or wanting a bunch of services from the staff.

The staff is great, friendly, helpful, considerate Our site was good, couldn’t use the firepit. We had to park next to it or it was too close to the road Laundry area was clean The scary part is pulling out of the campground You need a slow sign or caution signal. Someone is going to be injured by the fast cars on the curves We’ll think about staying there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Bathhouse/bathrooms were clean and very nice. Pool arnd pool area was clean though the pool could use some attention as the tiles have been painted over in a drab green that is peeling. There were many yellow jacket hornets in the pool area which would be concerning for anyone with allergies to their sting.

We had annoyance stay. Our neighbors were all very nice. We didn’t use the facilities but I did swim a few laps. Pool was empty but the water was cool. Great way to start the day.

Very pretty site. It seemed uneven but after unhooking, it was level. Very quiet and serene with a view of the woods from all our windows. Bathrooms clean and well-cared for. We would gladly stay here again.

Comfortable, with many amenities that were useful. The location is so remote that there seemed few options for us for shopping and dining within a reasonable distance. This was tolerable for a 2 night stay, but would not have been for a longer stay. Also, the nightly cost is, in my humble opinion, excessive for what I saw as inconveniences.

They were very easy to work with and have one of the nicest, cleanest and best bathhouses I've ever experienced and I have been camping my entire life (I am 51). The only concern I have regards the entrance/exit to the property. When exiting the property, there is a blind curve to the left. I recommend they install a mirror so that those leaving can see if another vehicle is approaching.

We were located in a semicircle site. The connections for the electricity, sewer, and water were right in the middle of the site. We had to pull our travel trailer far front to connect as the connections were in the back of the trailer. This made it difficult to unhook and reattach the truck. Otherwise the campgrounds would have received a 5.

Very friendly staff and a quiet campground. The bathhouse has been very recently remodeled with a setup friendly to high traffic use yet extremely clean! We do not judge a campground based on the wifi as we use it so infrequently, however there are many wonderful breweries and wineries to keep us busy!

We stayed here 2 weekend nights. Check in was quick and efficient. I was surprised to learn the 3rd adult staying with us was an additional $20 fee. We were fortunate to have a big site that could accommodate 2 cars. The bathrooms/showers here were wonderful. Very clean, large rooms with hooks and a rack with shelves. We used the pool which was fine but needed to be repainted.

Check in was nice but that’s all this park has to offer. If planning a stay at this KOA please know it’s very run down. Deluxe sites over grown with weeds and trees. Location very bad for sight seeing events. Would not recommend very dissatisfied

This was a nice and quiet campground. It was well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi was the best of any campground I’ve ever stayed at.

Online reservation lack of transparency led me to believe only one campsite left, the premium $100 site. There were many open sites. Top dollar site did not have a grill.

Not the best, not the worst. Surprised this is classified as a Holiday location since they don’t provide food or have the other typical amenities that are associated with a Holiday. As a positive WIFI was extremely good and the campground was clean otherwise.

Small camp, spacious sites, privacy feel, relaxing forest vibe. Bathrooms very clean and fully functional in spite of dated first impression. Front office staff is top notch. Fantastic place to spend a camp evening after touring local sites. Ignore the reviews about “weeds”, I mean who cares?

Very nice, clean, well maintained KOA. We stayed in a pull through where smaller trailers and cabs were, it was wooded with spectacular trees and quite private. There was an area that was very nice for bigger rigs. Dog yard was small but clean and nice. Bathrooms were very nice. Poison ivy all around so be careful.

This KOA is off the beaten path which was nice as it was quiet and remote. The folks that run it are a nice family. They are putting a lot of work into it with the addition of several new sites. Nothing fancy to speak of here, but was a great stay for seeing the Charlottesville area. The road in is two lane and a bit winding but our duelly and 39' fifth wheel made it just fine. Be advised there is bridge construction on a google route that is narrow and tight turn. The office advised us of how to avoid it. Happy trails.

We had a two day stay here in early April. The bathroom facilities were immaculately, clean, and private. My kids state that this was the best campground they've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely thorough and friendly. Prices at the general store were excellent. They also have a propane filling station, which is a nice plus. Would definitely recommend and give five stars. PS. There is an awesome nature, hike and pet trail.
