Spot 9 is where it’s at. Amazing spot. Clean campground. The only change I would recommend is sell better quality firewood in the store the hot sticks camping firewood is very poor quality the hot stick that I buy at the grocery store last much longer and are half the price.

Just in for a quick overnight but have stayed here many times. Nice quiet campground that is very easy to get in and out off. Great location with Downtown Charlottesville only being a 20 min drive. Nice staff and very clean.

This is one of the best campgrounds we’ve ever been! It’s off the beaten path but definitely worth the stay. The owners have thought through the layout of the grounds and that’s why it’s so comfortable to be there.

We’re new to RV Van life and wanted to try out our new Airstream Interstate fairly close to home and bring our dog. Location was perfect, the set-up very easy and everyone there was so nice.

We were frustrated because there were many sites available, however, they put us on a site we least liked. We asked if we could move to one of the other sites, but were told we could not move because they save those sites in case bigger units come in. All weekend the campground was only 1/2 full, yet we were not allowed to move to another site. I have never heard of such a thing.

Well located except for the bridge construction. Beautiful weather. Quiet park with great WiFi nice bathrooms.

We had a fairly spacious site but lots of road noise, many of the campsites were packed in. Lots of poison ivy. Bathrooms were clean and very nice, excellent. Oddly few garbage cans, like to put my dog poop into .. K9 yard was small but clean The site was beautiful, the trees were phenomenal

It is a satisfactory place to stay but probably our least favorite KOA every year on our way home. Compared to the super friendly staff of other KOA places and the amenities, it is really lacking. No one offered to guide us to our site- many other KOAs do this and it is comforting after a long day of travel. Also there are food options at many KOAs...love that! This KOA needs to step it up.

Quiet park, that looks like still doing work to expand. We did arrive a couple weeks after season open, so you could still see some winter work needing attention. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was friendly and park was clean. Was surprised at the additional cost of a third adult as we had not experience that in our travels at other KOA's, and felt the price point was a bit high.

We enjoyed our stay - staff was very helpful and pleasant. We liked that sites were well spaced and level. The campground roads were easy to navigate with our 37' fifth wheel.

Absolutely fantastic KOA! Sites are not super close together, giving plenty space for everyone. The best WIFI we have ever had! We were actually able to connect on all devices(laptop, TV, Ipads, etc). The don't have anything fancy, but they have all the necessities and they are all clean and work well. We had a slide malfunction when we tried to leave and the staff and owner were very helpful.

The young lady at the office was very nice and helpful. The campground was quite a drive from Charlottesville but convenient to Monticello. Our dogs would have liked more grass!

We loved being on Site 3. Easy pull-through along the edge of the forest. We enjoyed a walk on the nature trail. Very helpful staff. We even received a call the day before our arrival reminding us of road construction that might complicate our arrival. Close to Monticello which was the reason for our trip. Highly recommend.

We had a great time! Close to wineries which made for a fun day. Campsite was clean and plenty of room to cook and hangout. The bathhouse was super nice. Notice a couple of amenities were run down but looks like maybe things are getting cleaned up. We would definitely come back.

We had a quick overnight stay in Charlottesville at the KOA! Great communication regarding construction on a local bridge that impacts campers coming with their rigs! The bathrooms are very nice, private and clean! I imagine the outdoor pool is great when it is in season! It looks like a nice pool. It appears that they are growing and creating more sites! We would stay again!

If you're looking for a big resort type campground, this one probably isn't for you, but it's exactly why we enjoyed it. It's only about 60 sites and it's far enough from the highway that it is very quiet. Enjoyed the fact that there weren't golf carts running around at all hours kicking up dust and making noise like many of the bigger campgrounds these days. Pleasant young lady helped us when we

One night while traveling south. Well maintained. Loved the restrooms/shower set up. Very clean. Only downside which you have to expect hanging with nature, Acorns hitting my roof like cannonballs. I may have PTSD lol

Stay was good, quiet. Some of the sites are close together and tight getting out of. Did not use any of the facilities. Dog area was nice (only place our dog would use the bathroom) camp store was okay, nothing special. The fire wood sold was just chunks of wood really not actual logs, kinda a paint to stack. Did burn well though. Would stay here again.lots to do around the area

Very nice, clean, well maintained KOA. We stayed in a pull through where smaller trailers and cabs were, it was wooded with spectacular trees and quite private. There was an area that was very nice for bigger rigs. Dog yard was small but clean and nice. Bathrooms were very nice. Poison ivy all around so be careful.

This KOA is off the beaten path which was nice as it was quiet and remote. The folks that run it are a nice family. They are putting a lot of work into it with the addition of several new sites. Nothing fancy to speak of here, but was a great stay for seeing the Charlottesville area. The road in is two lane and a bit winding but our duelly and 39' fifth wheel made it just fine. Be advised there is bridge construction on a google route that is narrow and tight turn. The office advised us of how to avoid it. Happy trails.

We had a two day stay here in early April. The bathroom facilities were immaculately, clean, and private. My kids state that this was the best campground they've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely thorough and friendly. Prices at the general store were excellent. They also have a propane filling station, which is a nice plus. Would definitely recommend and give five stars. PS. There is an awesome nature, hike and pet trail.
