Quiet, smaller campground. Good location for a Monticello visit. Impressed with the front desk staff, who reached out to communicate directions for our late arrival.

We love this campground! We visit at least once every season. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There is a nice county park nearby with lots of things to do.

Everything was nice. Just need some type of Saturday activity for the kids. Maybe some music entertained on Saturday nights?

Just a plain campground. Grounds were not exactly kept nice. Good for a stop over but not as a destination. I'm surprised it is a KOA Holiday.

We have stayed here before. typically we go to wineries. This time we floated the river. We did not realize they have a very private pool. We did a swim before we left. Very nice. Quite clean.

The facilities and grounds were immaculate and it was clear that great care and pride were given to care for the campground. The bathroom/shower area stands far above any other for comparison and deserve extra credit given to to the caretakers. My only complaint is for a large, loud campers with no regard for others, boisterously carrying on until after 1:00 AM.

Winey ten mile travel off 81 Very friendly host . However sights where gravel and weeds. Did the trick for evening however wouldn’t recommend

Terrific bathrooms. Great flat sites with a lot of space between sites. Easily accessible to wineries and Monticello. Meh WiFi.

Really good get away but not recommended for a travel stop or overnight. All spaces are gravel, fairly level but can get muddy. The staff member was super understanding and waited for my arrival as it was storming and a very difficult drive to the campground from the highway because of a very bad storm. For the money so far after 4000 miles of travel KOA has blown away the competition!

Such a lovely park. Clean, unique sites, and ample to do. We loved the nature trail. We’ll definitely be back. I posted a positive review on AllStays. So many KOA’s we’ve stayed at are not clean, have tight spaces, and feel worn out. This place is a winner for ambience, care, and comfortable sites. My only comment would be to enlarge the dog park as most RV’er have a dog.

Small campground with tight sites. Over priced for the amentias offered. Bushes and trees along road overhang into the road causing them to run across the camper when entering and exiting campground.

Nice campground. We had site #1 and it faces out into the woods. Convenient to most everything we came to the area to see and do. Would definitely stay again

Stayed at site 31 (pull through) and found the site clean, well maintained, easy access hookups, and enjoyed the overall atmosphere.

Friendly staff and clean bathrooms. However, priced too high for sites provided. Also, guests pay a fee to park, but not allowed to park at our site although lots of room to do so? Leaving them to walk to our campsite in the rain. Will not be returning.

It was beautiful and peaceful. A variety of campers and all were so friendly and respectful. We hated to leave but we must keep traveling.

Very nice, clean, well maintained KOA. We stayed in a pull through where smaller trailers and cabs were, it was wooded with spectacular trees and quite private. There was an area that was very nice for bigger rigs. Dog yard was small but clean and nice. Bathrooms were very nice. Poison ivy all around so be careful.

This KOA is off the beaten path which was nice as it was quiet and remote. The folks that run it are a nice family. They are putting a lot of work into it with the addition of several new sites. Nothing fancy to speak of here, but was a great stay for seeing the Charlottesville area. The road in is two lane and a bit winding but our duelly and 39' fifth wheel made it just fine. Be advised there is bridge construction on a google route that is narrow and tight turn. The office advised us of how to avoid it. Happy trails.

We had a two day stay here in early April. The bathroom facilities were immaculately, clean, and private. My kids state that this was the best campground they've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely thorough and friendly. Prices at the general store were excellent. They also have a propane filling station, which is a nice plus. Would definitely recommend and give five stars. PS. There is an awesome nature, hike and pet trail.
