Nicely run campground. Facilities are very clean. Camp store has a great selection of rv accessories. Workers are very nice and helpful.

Great place to stay. Very understanding. Had 2 blowouts on camper and wife broke her toe and ended up at ER for the toe and ended up at motel and the campground didn't charge for the night we didn't show up.

I called a minute after closing (6pm) and got a call back and a site. This was great stop traveling on 29. The site was level we did not need to drop our travel trailer. To sum it up this was in a good location for us and we had an excellent spot for an over night stay. It is overpriced a little bit but that is expected at KOA. Thanks!

Not sure why this is a KOA, I have been to a lot of KOA's and this one does not rate. it was not kid friendly AT ALL!! The air mattress trampoline was only open when the office was so 9AM to 6PM.The pool was dirty and noone wanted to use it. The roads are all gravel or dirt so kids with training wheels could not use it. All in all it was not a place I would choose to go back to.

Really great place. Need to do some cleaning up. All the small trees between the campsites need to be cut out. Need to clean around pool fence and fix the fence. If.you want natural shade let some bigger trees grow up away from the pool. All in all it's great. But really does need to be cleaned up.

WE stayed in a cabin which was in a very quiet area. The pool area was very dated and the water cloudy looking. The arcade room was just a pool table with the same teenagers using the table every time we stopped by, the air hockey table had no puck. Need to give older teens a place to go and unwind. The bathrooms were amazing

We were very happy with our stay. It was our second time at this campground. Our site was very quiet and relaxing. The customer service was outstanding. Thank you!

Kind of disappointed at our kabin, we have stayed once before and the kabin was nice but this time we got a kabin that smelled like cigarettes and looked kind of dirty and cheap and very dark dim lighting and it kind of ruined my husbands vibe for the trip. The campground seemed more run down then the last time we stayed.

Dusty, tight quarters, very quiet campground and unable to use Dish due to trees. Adequate site, very near Trump Winery and others. Very unsafe trying to leave campground due to blind left turn. They need to install a mirror across street to view oncoming traffic.

Booked 7 nights, left in less than 24hrs. The staff there was so condescending, unhelpful, and rude that we that we felt unwelcome and left. Photos online misrepresent amenities... I'd say the online marketing borders on dishonest compared. Spots are level and easy to access. Grounds and trail overgrown. Super disappointing experience, especially compared to all our past KOA experiences.

josh and jennifer were the best hosts!! they made the stay so lovely and helped us smiled us waved at us. we had rv issues and they were quick to help and offer all they could!! will come back again!!!!

The Playground is an old metal one that is infested with Bees, the jumping pad is really small and in the bright sun most of the day and the pool smells like pee.

Location and access to it is horrible. Terrible for an RV. The lot where we stayed was unremarkable...would never go out of my way again for this unacceptable campsite again.

The only negative is the pool area. They fence is very over grown with vines and trees which makes it a haven for bugs and just plain looks bad!

Great location with peace and quiet but close enough to Cville. Interior roads could use some work and onsite recycling would be nice.

Beautiful, wooded campground w/ friendly, helpful staff! Bath house showers were roomy & clean. Very good chance we’ll stay there again!

Very relaxing campground, nicely shaded sites, great walking trail. It is convenient to UVA, Charlottesville town, Thomas Jefferson's home, an orchard, wineries and many other fun things to do. We will definitely be staying here again!

Absolutely beautiful grounds, well maintained, plenty of offerings. 10/10 recommend. Will be back. For tent camping, opt for plot T55 - it is THEE best! Ample room for everything and more, close to pool and potties!

Sites are gravel and close together. Not the normal KOA standard that we expect.

Perfect place for a stop in Charlottesville. This campground is close to a lot of attractions and entertainment. This place has amazing new immaculate restrooms. Pool was nice and kids kept busy with the pool and playground. Very quiet and cozy campground. Large sites are also a plus. Thank you

Need to get rid of unlicensed, run down vehicles in campsites. Little kids overrun hot tub. Tiki bar was nice though. Beach access nice, pool area, aside from hot tub, very nice. Convenient garbage collection, ice and wood delivery to campsite very convenient. Store well stocked and friendly staff! Overall good visit.

Very quiet area. Only 'issue' was location of sewer on site. It was uphill due to unlevel site.

Very nice, clean, well maintained KOA. We stayed in a pull through where smaller trailers and cabs were, it was wooded with spectacular trees and quite private. There was an area that was very nice for bigger rigs. Dog yard was small but clean and nice. Bathrooms were very nice. Poison ivy all around so be careful.

This KOA is off the beaten path which was nice as it was quiet and remote. The folks that run it are a nice family. They are putting a lot of work into it with the addition of several new sites. Nothing fancy to speak of here, but was a great stay for seeing the Charlottesville area. The road in is two lane and a bit winding but our duelly and 39' fifth wheel made it just fine. Be advised there is bridge construction on a google route that is narrow and tight turn. The office advised us of how to avoid it. Happy trails.

We had a two day stay here in early April. The bathroom facilities were immaculately, clean, and private. My kids state that this was the best campground they've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely thorough and friendly. Prices at the general store were excellent. They also have a propane filling station, which is a nice plus. Would definitely recommend and give five stars. PS. There is an awesome nature, hike and pet trail.
