Nice two day stop, well placed to visit the Charleston downtown historical region. Pool water was a little cold.

The grounds were as nice as to be expected. We loved the dog enclosure, and the pool, and the bathrooms were very clean. The water pressure was minimal in the shower but overall, it was a top-notch campground and we'd definitely stay again. We'd hoped to stay longer but plans changed at the last minute and we were so grateful to receive a partial refund.

Relatively clean They let neighboring trailer park people use their Landry facilities on the wknd so makes it hard for campers to use at that time Dog park is not very nice area

CAMPGROUNDS POORLY MAINTAINED, HIGHWAY NOISE CONTINUOUSLY, VERY DIFFICULT TO ACCESS EXIT DUE TO HIGH TRAFFIC VOLUME ON HIWY 78, IN DIRECT APPROACH PATH OF AIRPORT LOUD PLANE NOISE CONSTANTLY, STAFF HELPFUL & FREINDLY BUT NOT GOOD LOCATION FOR QUIET CAMPING CAMPSITES SMALL FOR LARGER 5th WHEEL(43ft) NEXT VISIT WILL TRY TO FIND DIFFERENT CAMPGROUND IN THIS AREA

First off The staff were amazing and that’s where it ends. Koa was extremely rundown.. The police were called out so many times I lost track. Patrolling constantly with spotlights on clearly looking for someone all 3 nights. We had to pack up our site since the trailer park next door residents would walk by unattended sites and walk away with peoples stuff. Never again for us@ this Koa.

It was a nice KOA , but I could do without the feral Cats spraying all over my camping chairs. It cost $20 to have them fixed at a SPCA.

We only spent nights there. Adequate for what we needed. Noisy. Making left turns out of park is very difficult. Turning into the entrance at night - especially as a left turn into the campground - is dangerous because the entrance is so dark. Park is clean, well kept, and has very friendly staff.

There were too many transient type people with junky, trashy sites. My two chihuahuas were attacked by an unleashed dog from one of theses sites. My dogs were thankfully ok. My daughter lives in Ladson or I would never return to this location.

We stayed at this KOA twice. The first stay was only for two days and the RV site was under construction in one corner. There was an orange cone and an area that looked like it may have had some flooding to it recently. We accepted this since we were only staying two days. Site # was 11G, I think. The second stay was much better at site 3C, closer to the dog park and laundry.

The park had a very narrow drive. Barely wide enough to get our RV through. Campsite lots were very narrow and our slide out near infringed on our neighbors. Restroom needed updated and cleaned.

I was a little worried after reading some of the previous reviews. During our stay, we had none of the problems mentioned. We found the site to be clean and well-maintained. Yes, it’s near a road, under a flight path, but neither of these factors bothered us. No issues from the trailer park next door, staff friendly/helpful. A possible improvement would be the addition of more showers/toile

Had aggressive dogs on the next campsite that the management did nothing about. The dogs barked and tried to attack anything that moved.

This was my first time camping in our RV. Never slept in one before. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had to reschedule our stay one time because of issues with the dealer. KOA was very helpful in rescheduling our first night. Unfortunately we couldn't stay more than one night. Everyone around was also very friendly and had advice.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour de 4 nuits, il est situé à Ladson, une petite ville avec toutes les commodités (épiceries, restos et magasins) et à environ 30 à 40 minutes de Charleston. On a pas connu de gros bouchons de traffic lorsque nous prenions la I26 et I526 pour aller visiter Charleston alors c'est un gros avantage. Les terrains sont sur l'herbe avec des arbres, c'est propre.

We stayed for Spring Break in April. The campground was very quiet which was nice, but there were not any type of Easter activities going on at the campground. We also had a stray cat that kept coming to our site which was a little annoying. It was a fairly nice campground to stay at, but I would probably try another campground if I went back to Charleston.

Catapillars dropped out of the trees on the camper, our chairs, our picnic table and our heads. Catapillar dirt was over everything. We had to clean the table every few hours. And then rained and it seems our site and that of our friends was a low point and we had a small river flows past our camper.

Was assigned to a mud hole, that also rained caterpillars and extrement. Was a complete mess. Staff did not assist in getting us a different spot despite several other sites being open. Overall, the facility is old and looks old. It is located about 30 min out from historic Charleston.

Nice quiet RV Park. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There were no issues due to the adjacent trailer park. It was also quiet and it is fenced off with a solid wooden fence. We had a very pleasant stay.

It’s a very nice KOA. We were there for a short time so we didn’t use many of the facilities. Pool was closed but the campground had just opened the week before. Site was nice and level and clean. Only downside was getting in and out of the main road. It was very busy.

Our campsite was full of trash and the grass had not been cut. Only 1 crowded bath house that was also being used by the trailer park next door.

The site was great. Park was very quiet. As my dog a Labrador Retriever and I (Tom Houghton’s wife) were exiting the dog park, a couple with 2 dogs( appeared to be pit bull mix) entered the park park area. They were acting very aggressively to me and my dog. The woman was having a hard time holding her dog. I was scared to death. We exited very quickly through the ONLY Exit to the campground.

Friendly staff. Restrooms were always clean with supplies available. Our deluxe patio site was a bit tight. Lots of fire ants on the site. Not as many amenities as other Holiday parks.

Stayed for 5 nights. Close to everything in Charleston without being expensive. Our 4 dogs (Goldens) loved the walks! Was perfect for our family. The staff were very helpful and nice, thank you!

This is the worst KOA I’ve ever stayed at. My site was 50/50 dirt and grass. There was trash left behind too. The whole place isn’t maintained very well at all. There is only one bathroom and it’s not maintained. I had to wait in line to use the toilet and almost ran out of paper. This was before the office was open. I won’t be back. This is not what I expected from KOA. ���

Unfortunately we had 2 RV hoses stolen when we were out. I would not recommend this KOA to anyone.

Should clean up/rake the campsite between guests. Large amount of trip hazards and pine cones on site.

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
