Nice campground except first evening we were there, we left to watch football game and came back and one of our bikes was stolen. Campground told my husband they had no cameras at the end where we were. The Campground is not secured by any fences. Anyone can come and go and they don't know.

Was there during the last hurricane/tropical storm and was not told if a tornado were to shelter at. The place closed at 3pm but no-one checked on the campers at all besides a letter on the rv the day before. Then I woke up to fire ants all over in the rv and found a huge mound of then under my rv. Was told they could not do nothing? What an infestation.Called the after hours and was not friendly

Our only interaction with the staff was upon check-in. We are not needy people, so that is the way most of our stays at campgrounds are. However, the staff was very pleasant and nice. We felt as if they were happy to help us.

Loved the 8.5 feet deep pool. Loved lot B-10, it was shaded under a beautiful oak tree. Convenient to I-26 and the local grocery store. Staff was friendly and the weather was great.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We left a day early due to weather and they refunded our money for that night. The only reason for the less than perfect is the washing machines weren’t all working. Plus beware of the squirrels who will tear up your trash before pickup.

Staff were friendly. Bathroom clean. Hookups all good. Hard to pull out if you’re making a left in that location due to traffic. Would stay here again

Great place to stay. Close to family and visiting downtown Charleston. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a premium spot...not so much. the only premium was the swing a few chairs and fire pit. The paver pad was (is) completed with a layer of weeds, although it did make the ground softer, lol. Mold actively growing in the pool. The dog park grass was so overgrown it was difficult to find the poop. Dumpsters by the dog park overflowing with garbage and it stunk!

Very expensive. Very unfriendly lady at the office. And no leveled place. Hard the get to sleep wen you lay not comfortable in your bed.

Disappointed in the condition of the unkempt campground. Sites are not cleaned after campers leave. Our fire pit was full of ash as well as dirty plastic gloves laying by septic drain cigarette stubs laying around and drown branches around our site. This campground should not be a holiday.

They let outside ppl use their laundry room and pool, to where there was no available washers/dryers for campers. The dog trash waste was full, obviously hadnt been emptied for days. The fire rings were full of trash from previous campers. There was one dog park and it was roped off at 8:00 pm and by 10 the next morning it wasn’t open yet. Grounds weren’t mowed. I was very disappointed in my stay at the Charleston KOA. The campground is not gated. There is a “neighborhood” right next to the campground. I saw on several occasions men walking into the campground to use the showers and laundry. The codes to the bathhouse need to be changed because they know them. For the first time EVER, I did not feel safe at a campground.

This KOA was a little below what I've come to expect from KOA campgrounds. Our site was uneven and on the grass, and there were big tree roots all around that we had to maneuver around. The layout of our site was very odd and we were actually behind the guy "next" to us. Campground has a lot of potential but for an "upgraded" Holiday park it was very run down. Staff was friendly but not helpful. Grass was very long, trash all over our campsite that had been there for a long time. Trash, including a dog poop bag on another site along the road very visible was there the entire 3 days we stayed. Watched staff walk right by several times and ignored the trash.

The stay was nice enough. We got a good spot near the entrance, club house and bathouses. The only negatives were that I noticed quite a lot of loose trash that just sat, even a tshirt that stayed in the road for 6 days until I eventually picked it up and threw it in the trash myself.

We stayed for two nights. Asked for a fire ring, which was stated in confirmation email. I was told they would bring one if there was not one at the site. No courtesy driver to the site. Bought wood, needed to retrieve it myself. Not delivered to sure. Needed a code to the bathrooms that were okay at best.

Office staff were wonderful. The stray cats were a problem,kept tearing open trash bags and scattering the trash. Also the staff that collected the garbage did not pick up the trash that the cats scattered. Our site had a stump in it that had sprouts growing out of it that made it all but impossible to walk around the table even with it pushed up to the camper side. The grass was overgrown.

Has potential. Needs to clean up, trim bushes and mow. Pool looked nice. All new picnic tables. Laundry room was ok but needed more air.

Grass isn’t mowed. Campsite flooded during rain. Mulch instead of gravel so an absolute mess while raining. Right next to a trailer park that isn’t kept up. Lots of traffic at entrance so hard to get in and out of. Not a good experience.

What a wonderful KOA, right off I-26, easy to check in, central to everything and places we intended to see. easy to set up visits from my family to use the pool and spend the day. We will recommend Charleston KOA to our family and friends.

Great site! Everything was great except one thing. I was there from Friday until Wednesday. On Friday when the cable was hooked up, I had cable. Later that afternoon, no cable. A call was made to the office and a sweet young lady brought a small tv down to check it and found there was no signal. I didn’t hear anything back so I called the next day,They said someone would check it, never heard ba

Just needed to mow more often and fix up the asphalt sites so not so much sand. There was a 6ft by 8 ft section that was busted everyday it rained so much sand pooled by the door. But other than that very quiet and nice

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
