Booking our site online was easy. Check in at the park was quick and easy. The park was clean and we had no issues. We needed an additional spot for parking our 15’ U-Haul truck overnight and they were able to accommodate us. Thank you. We appreciate it.

Given some of the reviews we saw for the KOA we were understandably a little worried going into our stay. This ended up being a great place for us! The sites are close, with sewer hook-ups often right in another campers site. The park is kept up, but not maximizing potential (there's a run-down rec center that could be re-purposed and the facilities are older--but clean). Kind staff.

Good spot with a centralized access to Folly Beach, Downtown, Mt Pleasant. Campground was clean and concrete site was level with nice patio furniture and included grill! Very cool touch. It can be a little noisy in the evening as you're just off the flight path of the airport and there were a few sirens each night on the adjacent road. Overall good, rec room looks like it could use some work.

not well kept , broken bottles on my campsite, requested clean-up , nothing was done when I came back 8 hours later and DEMANDED immediate cleanup Caleb did a good job cleaning up . 2nd worst KOA I stayed in during 14 years of snow-birding

Le traffic a l’entrée du parc est terrible 1hre pour reussir a y entrer . Pas assez de gravier sur les terrains …. Sac a dechets ramasser en fin de pm ….aucun agrément a y passer quelques jour. Pas digne d un Koa désolé . Du travail a faire pour rendre ce Koa digne de son nom .

This KOA is awful. You are paying top dollar for a run down KOA, very disappointing. The staff didn't seem to care, the entry looks like you are pulling into a trailer park, it is NOT well kept -- definitely not the normal KOA Holiday experience I have had before. Will NOT recommend.

They Never clean the sites a lot of trash everywhere . The park is Not well kept trees and bushes' need to be trimmed plus grass needs to be cut . Some people are living there Full time in Junk Trailers with AC units falling out tall grass and trailer and water leaks or sewage under trailers. The park needs complete redo. The park does great potential !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was the perfect place to stay while visiting friends who I had not seen in years. Although I did not use any of the amenities, the campground was clean & well cared for. The staff was very hospitable. The campground was close to Charlestown.

Staff friendliness was great. Traffic noise was horrible. While we know they can’t control that we get away for quiet. Too many planes, trains, automobiles and sirens for the quiet we seek!

The staff was very friendly, and the store, laundry facility, and public restrooms were nice and very clean. However, our site was poorly maintained, and the distance to the sewer connection was ridiculous. Random trash, piles of scrap firewood and very tall grass that hadn't been cut in weeks. The sounds from the neighboring highway were annoying at night. Sounded like a drag race every night.

We have been to 14 KOA’S since buying a Toy Hauler. This KOA was just ok. Every other koa just did everything better. Cleaner, camp sites bigger not Squeezed in like here. Our picnic table was 2 feet from other campers sewer hose .. police sirens all night up and down the hwy. seems not the nicest part of town. 1st experience were we weren’t blown away by the incredible experience.

Cable TV issues almost daily throughout our week stay. Staff were very helpful when the disconnect required repair. Grounds were clean but not landscaped by any means.

You have become way too expensive for my budget. The Charleston KOA needs management that would be more concerned on how it looks. This not the first time there but will be the last. Too many things are looking more run down and neglected. Not a first class KOA but priced like one.

The pictures online are not what we found when we got there. I thought we were on a paved site, it was gravel. The grass needed mowed. We payed way too much for this campground.

We were assigned a sight in the long term section which is very poorly maintained. Shrubs, sites, even the deluxe premium sites were overgrown. There was even what looked like an abandoned fifth wheel with people living in it. Not a good first impression. Took a walk thru the other section and it was better but still not up to what I expect from KOA.

It was quiet but a little dark at night. The pad could have been more level. Upkeep of grounds could have been better. The entrance was multi use, which wasn’t desirable a could have been kept up better. We will return one day and hopefully these suggestions will be thought about.

This was a very nice spot! It is 20ish minutes from downtown Charleston. Nice campsites. There is traffic noise from nearby highway and interstate. If possible, stay away from rows A and B as there are floodlights from nearby businesses. And now for the best part: you have to check out the clubhouse! It is really cool!

Site had trash on it when we arrived. Sites in general were poorly maintained. There was a camper propped up on cement blocks with air conditioners falling out the windows, and a swampy area underneath...GROSS! This whole campground was disgusting and I'll never go back. Never saw anyone out working on the grounds. Front desk staff was nice enough, but that's the only positive thing I can say.

Need to check the dogs wandering around and owners not cleaning after them.we have two and pick up after them. Dog park super. Bathroom clean but could use some update. Maybe another set with a bigger showers.was a little tight but we like location to where we were going.

Location was decent and that is about all that is good about this KOA, very rundown, overgrown weeds everywhere, rigs parked so long they were literally falling apart. Would not choose this KOA again

Gunshots day and night Blasting Music playing from the trailer park next-door at 4:30 in the morning Also F 1 rundown trailer allowed to be on site with windows falling out of it and sewage underneath the camper and someone still allowed to live in it! also no grass cut weeds everywhere very unkempt ! Very disappointed with this KOA

Great location. Very disappointed in maintenance of campground. Grass not cut, some trash on our campsite when arriving. Old buildings for welcome and recreation center. Not inviting at all.

We ended up with a makeshift cable connection that gave us a blurry picture and not much else. Our actual connection was covered with wood so they hooked us up using 2 cables to the next site which had repairs going on. I had had trouble with my KOA card not working on the website. Lost my 250 points for website, called campground, had wrong date on reservation.

Didn’t quite seem up to par with other KOA parks we’ve stayed at. Would recommend clean up and spruce up. Space’s really close together where we were. But nice location and easy to get to.

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
