Very friendly and helpful staff; nice setting; easy pull-through spots; clean; full hookups; had on-site LP fill-up for our motorhome, and, at reasonable prices. Highly recommended; will be coming back on next visit to Charleston!!!

Very conveniently located to Charleston Southern University! Great get away to spend time with your favorite CSU student. We will be back! Store was stocked well and had good prices for items you may have forgotten. Staff was very nice and welcoming. They even accommodated us to host our sons bible study group.

When we checked in the office staff was very nice. However it was after dark and we had to ask if they would show us to our site. The patio site was not cleaned after the last guests. They had dumped burned wood at the edge of the patio which left charred ash. The fire pit had burned wood in it and was full of water. We asked at the office the next day for it to be cleaned but it never was.

I needed a 2 day stay and they were able to get me in. Th campground is very clean and has a dog park which my dog loved. It’s no fancy but is very nice.

We were extended stay for 3 months. The weekly fee amounts are as much as other parks are monthly. The monthly total was more than me and my wife pay for our houses! There are no monthly rates for health care workers. The koa we stayed at in Charleston S.C. was located next to a rundown mobile home park. Trying to get in and out was almost impossible. Laundry was run down.

The campsite is not supervised. An intruder who was prowling the campsite was chased away by a camper. The toilet block is outdated and was not cleaned daily.

Looks like they have made improvements but the site we had was muddy and a little smalll for our rv.

The campground had a lot of trash laying around the edges of the property and the sites have a lot of mud and standing water if it rains. The gravel for rv parking was soft and made it difficult to get out of the sites without leaving ruts.

Convenient to Charleston and surrounding areas. Campground is older but well kept and the staff was very friendly. Our space was well appointed with patio furniture , grill, and firepit. Unfortunately the weather was bad and we were unable to enjoy the amenities. Will stay again.

This KOA should not be a holiday level. The entire place has a drainage problem. None of the spots are paved or have enough gravel. Way overpriced for the value. All the employees we met were great. They need to update and reclassify this one at a lower level. Stay somewhere else. Not worth the price

The only problem I experienced is not KOA's fault, but a lot of highway noise. Bathrooms very well kept. People very nice.

The picking up of trash could be better the maintenance people could be a little better I cleaned and picked up the d tow I’m one person I could make that place look great one person our three no need to sit in the barn back there and play on there phone your there to do a job.

Bathroom showers had same hair on walls the entire seven days. Dog poop stations were overflowing. Our site was muddy and covered with tiny black stones, which were constantly carried into RV. Site had trash( paper wrapper, balloon string) from previous campers. General appearance was unkept, not groomed.

Only issue was with the row we were staying on. B row was flooded on the morning of our departure. The other rows did not seem to have any standing water that I saw.

Our site # F3 had a faulty sewer connection at the base of a tree - - it moved and would come apart - - we had to monitor it often. The walkways were nice. This could be a better park if sites were better kept and parking was monitored better.

The campground needs to be brought into the 21st century. It WiFi was spotty. The men’s shower was dirty and needs repairs and the grounds need attention. There was crushed concrete from some repairs that had been done at the sire we were in. They could have at least cleaned that up. Over all. I’m disappointed at the campground. We "sprung" for the Deluxe Site as we were traveling back from Florida and looking for a nice/relaxing campground near Charleston. Site was decent/clean. Random traffic seemed to come through that clearly weren't campers - one even tried to sell us cast iron pans. The road noise was a bit bothersome, and the light from the neighboring business shined through our trailer windows.

Our only complaint is the amount of feral cats running around the campground and the long term camper feeding them. The cats caused our dogs to act up and they left footprints on ours and others truck.

Staff was able to move us to a Satellite friendly site so we could watch Football. Insisted on giving us a credit for a less expensive site. Very much appreciated.

Lots are small, next door to a very loud trailer park with yapping dogs outside. 5 cats running around pooping and puking everywhere. Not worth $61 a night

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
