Quiet campground, which was a welcome relief. No barking dogs. Well behaved children. Learned to choose basic campsites, not the“upgraded” more expensive patio sites.

Facilities were clean and well kept and the staff was great. Spaces were a little cramped.

Updating seems to be occurring which is extremely overdue but welcomed. The entrance is very, very unnerving due to surroundings in total abandonment and is shared with mobile home park. Not recommended for kids as only the pool seemed maintained. But the staff is friendly and accommodating. Give it time to improve further.

We liked the location but when we arrived at our site it had trash, beer cans on it. It also was covered in sticks and pine cones and hadn’t been cleared in some time. Grass was long as well. Expected batter at a KOA.

Definitely not what we are accustomed to with KOA. Sites are very small (which is fine if you’re comfortable with your rig), turns are tight, signs are not easily visible, and landscaping/environment is pretty poor. This is not one we would stay at again, especially at a price of $60+ a night!

I stayed here 2 1/2 years ago loved it! This time place is a dirty mess no up keep. Fire place was filthy at all sites lawns need to mowed I won’t be back

CAMPGROUND WAS NOT CLEANED UP OR KEPT UP AND IT WAS NOT VERY INVITING. NOT SOMEWHERE I WOUOLD LIKE TO STAY AGAIN.

If it wasn't for the very friendly staff, I'd rate this place a 1 star. The location is absolutely terrible, as one side butts up against a gas station and another side is next to a trailer park. The place is overgrown and run down, but it looks like it had potential at one point in the past. Mosquitos galore, so they obviously don't spray. Sleeping in a tent listening to city sounds sucked!

Very noisy location as close to major highway. Facilities need some TLC. Laundry shared with local trailer park residents which interfered with my own laundering.

There were some trailers that looked like the owner lived I them and the grass has grown up round them. The entrance to the park had some flowers but it was all covered with grass and weeds. It needs some TLC.

Lot c8 was not clean before we set up it was nice and level pull though site good location to Charleston

This park is not worth the crazy high price! We were without water and no one told us it was being turned off! When we realized it, my husband went outside to check things and there was a note taped on the door. No knock, no email, no heads up! Same thing the next day. It's at best a $35 a night park (maybe), but NOT a $73 a night!!!

This one time the grass wasn’t mowed by pool. Was very long. There was garbage strewn around my campsite, cigarette packages and soda cans. I did like my new picnic table and safety electrical outlet.

The only good thing about this Campground was the WiFi. We were very disappointed here. The grass needed cutting and the landscape has not been taken care of for a very long time. Our campsite had trash around it. Will not be back here. We never saw a KOA in this condition. We have been using KOA locations for 16 yrs.

Site and people were great. Handicap bathroom had no exhaust fan and not all the lights worked. Looked like the toilet ran over and whoever came to fix left the water and toilet paper on floor

Had to change our reservation due to a hurricane in Florida! They made the process as painless as they could!

Good central location to tour the Charleston area. LOVED the segregated bath house, men on one side and women on the other. Some KOA's we have stayed in have one big bath house for all-not a fan traveling with teenage grandaughters and try to avoid those campgrounds. Good folks inside. Recreation hall looked like it had been closed for quite some time.

1st. Our stay was a little pricey 2nd. There were lots of street noice at night from police, fire sirens multiple times every night. I know that KOA has little to do with that but is the reality of staying at this location.

Good location but the camp seemed run down and needed lawn maintenance badly. Because of that the campground is overpriced.

Great location. As with other reviews grass needs to be cut. Camp sites should be cleaned and maintained for next campers Could be so much more if more pride taken in maintaining the grounds

Stayed 2 nights. Very pleasant check in. Quiet park. Very convenient hookups etc. Enjoyed our stay. One suggestion. It would be good to have better lighting at the entrance driveway. Road is very busy and after dark it is very hard to see the driveway.

I will not recommend this campsite nor will I ever go back. We had to bottle German cockroaches, loose trash never picked, dozens of feral cats running around, and broken sewer caps hence the German cockroaches. 4 inch sewer caps adapted with plumber's putty and duct tape to a two and a half inch to 3 in sewer pipe. This place is poorly maintained no mowing regiment. Also electrical hazards exist!

We glamped for 2 months and enjoyed our stay very much. The hospitality was great and the grounds are gorgeous. Lots of shade and plenty of room. Easy to pull in and out. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Having a laundromat on location was also convenient.

The campground satisfied our needs for our trip to Summerville. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The negative side of our experience was the result of the site not being mowed. I think the campground would get a lot more repeat business if the grounds were more maintained. It appeared our site had not been mowed, or trimmed for a couple of weeks.

We’ve stayed twice. I think the campground has improved a lot this year over 2022. It’s cleaner, restrooms are better and, in general, a good spot in Charleston.

Fine for a travel nurse since you are not there very often and you can pay over the phone. They also come and take your trash twice daily so that was nice. Traffic is not manageable. The Wi-Fi is pretty terrible. Lastly, I wish they had better lawn care, I was there about 5 weeks and by the end of it the grass/weeds were about 1.5-2ft by the power box and sewer connections.

The campground facilities and staff were clean and friendly. Our campsite was up against a tree so we couldn't extend our awning and the grass needed to be mowed. The mosquitoes were so bad that we couldn't sit outside at all.

We paid for a premium patio, only to find the patio busted up, grass grown so high I couldn’t let our dogs out. Neither the wifi or the cable worked. There were drug deals taking place at the trailer park attached to the campground and people would fly through the campground after buying. How is this place a KOA? Please remove the brand from this horrible and dangerous campground.

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
