The spot they gave us was not cleaned up. It had not been raked or cleaned in quite a long time. There was trash in the woods behind us, there was dog poop all over our site and there were a lot of leaves. We raked the leaves when they brought down a rake and the maintenance man picked up the dog poop. The water spicket did not work, which they did have fixed. Their laundry facilities were nice.

Once we arrived I realized we have stayed here a few years ago. Issues both times as arrived after office closed. First time we were not given bathroom codes and this recent time, not given Wi-Fi codes. Other than that it was ok. Probably my just need to be sure staff get all info out to late arrivals.

Happy to say SO MUCH improvement. All of the decrepit trailers are gone, new fencing along the mobile home park, new playground for little kids and much needed overgrown vegetation gone. Hopefully more forward progress next visit back due to close proximity to our family. Thank you N Charleston/Ladson for the cleanup

I came n wanted to see certain things. I like the map that KOA provided which was helpful. I will be back to South Carolina because there's more to see.

The campground was clean and well cared for. Good for a trip into Charleston. Sites are somewhat narrow.

Worst KOA we’ve ever stayed at. Extremely crowded. I had to ask my neighbor to move his truck so I could get out in the morning. When checking in, I had to ask the fellow to show me to my site. The sewer dump was broken, just about unusable. Needed help from staff member to hold the sewage in place while I dumped. Stray cats roaming everywhere. Dogs on leashes why not these cats!

First time staying at a KOA. Our stay was a week long. Staff was friendly, grounds were clean, and sites were easy to get into. The WI-FI was surprisingly decent for a campground. My only complaint would be that there isn’t much for children to do on the campground itself.

A nice place that is dated in so many ways....close to highway so the noise can be bothersome if you are not running your ac. Friendly and very supportive and responsive staff. Convenient location.

Didn't try to use facilities other than toilet and shower. Pool looks great but closed for season. Daughter lives 15 mi away so spent our time at her house. Ok place for a few nights.

Staff was ok. Sites were nice size. Lots of loose trash in the campground. A few rvs had junk around them, looked bad, one has windows busted out with window air conditioners hanging out looking like they were falling out and no tags on the camper. Had a wrecked truck with no tags on it. Many long term campers looked like they hadn't been mowed around for a long time. Not sure we would recommend

The sites with patios are very nice and the staff is great. I especially like the hanging swings for 2. The KOA store had limited selection of items and no hot foods to order. The location was less positive, and it is noisy from the airplanes going by and traffic noise due to being so close to the road.

The bathrooms were clean. The whole campground was in a great location. The only thing was the trailer park entry into the KOA.

You may want to remind your younger staff when a client comes in to get off their phones. Other than that we were satisfied with our stay. Makes for better customer service.

This place was the noisiest place we've ever stayed in 5 years of travel. Sirens, planes, trains or the excessive traffic created a constant sound that never let up. Unfortunately 1/2 of my stay I was RV bound due to rainy weather. I understand this noise is strictly due to the location. The staff was very kind but the campground was tight & muddy, also it's not in walking distance to anything.

Stayed in Kabin #1 and it was very nice and comfortable. Had a heater/electric fireplace and air conditioning. The amenities weren’t open during the stay but the shower/rest rooms were clean. The washer/dryers were convenient.

The whole cabin was in need of a cleaning, as all surfaces showed grime from previous occupants. The kitchen had a minimal number of old pans and worn out utensils, the plates, cups and silverware were paper, red solo cups and plastic throw aways from Walmart. There is an airport, main highway, railway, and a rundown trailer park adjacent. Ferral cats. Rented for 2 nights, stayed only one. BAD

Very friendly and helpful staff; nice setting; easy pull-through spots; clean; full hookups; had on-site LP fill-up for our motorhome, and, at reasonable prices. Highly recommended; will be coming back on next visit to Charleston!!!

Very conveniently located to Charleston Southern University! Great get away to spend time with your favorite CSU student. We will be back! Store was stocked well and had good prices for items you may have forgotten. Staff was very nice and welcoming. They even accommodated us to host our sons bible study group.

When we checked in the office staff was very nice. However it was after dark and we had to ask if they would show us to our site. The patio site was not cleaned after the last guests. They had dumped burned wood at the edge of the patio which left charred ash. The fire pit had burned wood in it and was full of water. We asked at the office the next day for it to be cleaned but it never was.

I needed a 2 day stay and they were able to get me in. Th campground is very clean and has a dog park which my dog loved. It’s no fancy but is very nice.

We were extended stay for 3 months. The weekly fee amounts are as much as other parks are monthly. The monthly total was more than me and my wife pay for our houses! There are no monthly rates for health care workers. The koa we stayed at in Charleston S.C. was located next to a rundown mobile home park. Trying to get in and out was almost impossible. Laundry was run down.

This was a very convenient location to Charleston with many eateries near by. Staff was super nice on check in! Downsides are spaces are close and for big rigs not exactly easy to get out of your space.
